Attention all DINO MERCS players! We have some exciting news about recent updates to the game. Thanks to the feedback and bug reports from our amazing playtesters, we have been able to make significant improvements and bug fixes to the game.
The latest updates include:
Alternating between player and enemy turns
Defining one round as one player turn and one enemy turn
Nerfing some weak enemy defense card options
Reverting back to 3 positive slots and 2 negative slots for enemy turns
Increasing Strykr regen from 7 to 10
Removing Armored from Enemy Bull Rush card
Decreasing initial repairs stat
Adding more art assets
Making Ambush a rare card and giving it Kinetic++ damage
Adding Shallow Wounds card to make BLOODLESS more viable
Improving descriptions on cards
Decrementing round-duration statuses on player turn
Scaling up cards in unlocks screen and showing only 4 per row
Allowing you to view possible enemy cards during a combat encounter
Having 50% of money/supplies carry over to the next run
Making cards available for purchase on reward screens no longer restricted by current sector or by rarity
We're also excited to announce that we're working on a larger, high-level update that will take a few days. We're updating some core elements based on feedback from the playtesting and plan on releasing it later.

As part of the preparations for the show, I also implemented a feature that was suggested on the Steam forums, a "Attract Mode".
Attract Mode starts after idling in the main menu for about 10 seconds (just the main menu, not upgrade screen or ship select etc.) and is of course an option that you can enable or disable in the game settings.
I also added a couple smaller, gameplay/visual updates!
The next patch will be coming after the GDC - so in about 2 weeks.

Lowered SPD.
Made fine adjustments to the trigger rate of each Skill.
Full Attack is now fully guardable.
Slightly lowered the chance of his Skills inflicting Paralysis.
âAdjustments: Black Panther Warrior
Raised DEF.
Strengthened several attacks.
âAdjustments: Curseblade (Advanced class)
Added an HP absorption effect to the passive Skill "Growing Grudge".
Changed the Skill "Vampiric Blade" to "Binding Fang" (A 3-hit attack that costs HP and has a chance of inflicting Paralysis).
Added the Lv2 passive Skill "Overflowing Life" (Allows you to recover up to 1.25x of max HP, only during battle).
Added the Lv3 Skill "Brambles of Pain" (Deals 8x the damage you take back to the enemy for one enemy action).
Moved the Lv3 passive Skill "Adamant" to Lv4.
Changed the stats that increase upon unlocking Lv2 and Lv4.
Changed the description of the Skill "Abyss Gate" (The damage you have taken up to that point is added to the power of this Skill).

Fixed the text that appears after successfully performing a sneak attack on the ambushing guards to show the correct damage value (2000â5000).
Changed the description of the Easy difficulty.
Added clarification that players may reset their Skills as many times as they want upon a Game Over.
Fixed the English description of the Skills "Enchant Thunder", "Growing Grudge", and "Abyss Gate" to correctly describe the effects of the Skills.
âBug Fixes
Fixed an issue where some passive Skills remained active after players did a reset.
Fixed an issue where the directional prompts for the black panther warrior's skill "Stance [Dancer]" did not show the correct prompt for the consecutive blows.
