- Fixed a bug where the angel of fire household causes save game failure

- Added a simplified options menu to the main menu

- For the RMB quick melee strike (tap RMB) your movement will no longer be restricted while you strike. For the other types of melee strikes, the movement will still be restricted

- The stamina cost for each type of melee strike will now be different. The more damage the type of strike deals, the more stamina it costs.

Hello Adventurers!

In our latest announcement we said we had some exciting news we were going to share. Well today is that day! Firstly we would like to thank everyone who has purchased and played the game, and to everyone who has reviewed the game on Steam. With over 90% positive reviews, we could not be happier with the reception to Aces & Adventures!

While we're still working on bug fixes and quality of life improvements, we're also working on a whole host of new content, the details of which we are now ready to share with you! From new enemies, events, abilities and QoL updates all the way through to new game modes and daily challenges.

Aces and Adventures – Road Map

New Abilities and Balance
You can expect to see a steady supply of new abilities for all 5 classes, unlocking new powers and potential builds!



New Items, Enemies, and Events
We'll keep the War of the Branches and future procedural modes fresh with new content.

Deck Manager Mode
Begin with a simple, default deck of about 10 cards, and curate your deck as you embark on a long-form procedural adventure. You can add new abilities, upgrade existing abilities, and prune your deck as you see fit. No two runs will be the same.



Daily Challenges
Face powerful mutators – like a deck of only Spades or redrawing your ability hand each round – within a fixed, randomly-generated adventure. The adventure will remain the same during the daily challenge, only to change again when the next challenge goes live.

Quality of Life Improvements
We're committed to addressing as many of your requests as we can to provide you with as much information and the most intuitive controls possible. Here are some QoL improvements you can expect soon:
  • View all abilities in your deck by clicking on your ability draw pile. Abilities are sorted alphabetically while being viewed.
  • View all cards in any discard pile by clicking on it.
  • Show potential combat damage numbers on pointer over of suggested and custom attacks.
  • Video option to set MSAA separate from Quality Preset.
  • Time-to-next-rank tooltip for adventure decks to help clarify the completion ranking system.
Some other features that we have planned but are not yet under development include:
  • Ability to view unlocked Level Up traits for a character in the Deck Editor.
  • Show starting Level Up traits for a character in the Level Up scenes card pile.
  • Ability to view abilities you have not unlocked in Deck Editor.
  • Add a small button to access menu with the mouse (no keyboard required).

  • Handcrafted Challenges
    Take on unique challenges presented by custom-made adventures. These are designed to favor new decks and strategies. Some will be epic, long-form adventures, containing a bit of randomness; while others will remain tightly focused gauntlets meant to test your strategic creativity.

  • Share Decks
    Post and share your own custom decks with other players via the Steam Workshop. Other players will be able to use your deck immediately if they have the cards; otherwise, they will be allowed to pay a “mana” (experience) cost equivalent to the number of cards they’re missing to unlock the deck.

Word Attack - bsagames
Changes to the texturing of boards.
There are now 2 extra options in the settings screen, board textures and extra textures. Boards can now have their own texturing, and if they have then board textures indicates if they should be used. Extra textures dictates if general texturing should be added, beyond the use of specific board textures.

X-Plane 12 - danial
Version 12.04r3 is now out of public beta and the default shipping version for X-Plane 12. Thanks everyone for your continued feedback and reports!

Further powertrain tweaks for feedback from yesterday's patch.

Additions
  • Added tooltips to all advanced engine design sliders.

Changes
  • RPM limiter now shown in the engine RPM graph.
  • Decreased throttle responsiveness, resulting in less sudden acceleration and deceleration. Stopping you shooting past the rev limiter as easily (though I'm sure the crews appreciate it too).
  • Cruise control changed from steps to a continuous throttle.
  • Tweaked movement info layout.

Fixes
  • Improved handling of clutch braking with engine RPM limiters.
  • RPM limiter now forced to be 10% above the upshift RPM. To compensate for the torque dropoff required for the limiter to function smoothly. This was causing the difficulties upshifting.
  • Fixed cruise control steering not matching the current throttle level, speeding up on turns.

+General Interface
-The interface in the introduction section has been improved.

-An extra part has been added so that you can select a laboratory in the game entry.

-Improved the in-game interface. It now shows the keys on the screen with which you can access the equipment.

+Specific Interface
-Added an image indicating pressing the "E" key in the titration experiment.

-The interface in the Guides section has been improved. It is now indicated with colors that show which experiments the game supports or does not support, and which experiments can be performed in which areas. It was listed to show which classes it covers.

Comic Company Manager - Substandardshrimp
I just finished first minimally playable version of port to Godot 4. Its available on beta branch of the game

Most basic mechanics should work but UI and visuals are not yet completely moved to new version of the engine.

I don't recommend trying it unless you are really curious.

I will continue updating this version on beta branch until its ready to be the new main version of the game

- Made some light sources less bright and blinding

- Brightened lighting to remove super dark areas in shadows, so it's easier to see on every level

- Improved camera contrast and brightness settings, decreased light bloom, overall better look

- Optimized post-process settings for better performance

- Decreased default music volume
