If you have time and want to hang out, join me on Sunday the 5th of March at 9:30 am AEST | 12:30 am CET | Saturday March 4th 3:30 PM PST on Dinkum's Youtube channel. It’ll be fun to hang out, play a bit of Dinkum, and have a chat with each other.
The effort to make New Eden a more engaging place with a level of detail that takes you deeper is always ongoing. Audio is a major part of that effort, both setting the tone and atmosphere of EVE, and giving players critical cues that can inform their strategic approach. With that in mind, we invite all pilots to join a mass audio test focused on turret movement and impact sounds and help make EVE Online an even better experience.
The test will take place on the Singularity server. To take part in the scheduled fleet fight at 17:00 UTC Monday, 6 March, gather in the FD-MLJ system.
Those joining the test are encouraged to engage in fleet fights to allow for monitoring of performance issues and crashes, while pooling feedback on the audio experience of large-scale battle.
To access Singularity, change the server from Tranquility to Singularity in the bottom right corner of the launcher and log in as normal. More detailed instructions on connecting to Singularity are available here. When logged in on Singularity use the command /moveme in any chat window and select the system FD-MLJ from the pop up to be relocated to the testing system.
For the past year, we here at DRAGO entertainment have been expanding our marketing, producing and QA capabilities. Considering our portfolio of games for the upcoming years this was necessary and already shows great benefits for our games already.
However, being a rather small development team, our folks in marketing, producing and QA have “bursts” of activity that put a lot of work on them for a limited amount of time and then they have some less stressed time on their hands. We have thus decided to use that time well and become a publisher for another company in a very specified field: premium simulator games.
We have been working together with a group of people in the past years that now established their own game development company: Codebusters Studio and we will publish their upcoming premium simulators. As DRAGO entertainment we will also be involved in design and producing of these games to ensure they fit nicely to our target audience.
This is going to be a very close cooperation on these games, basically everything except our own developers participating in their production since let’s face it, they have more than enough work with our own games ;-)
For you as gamers nothing changes when it comes to our own games. What does change is you getting a game or two a year more from us that are of a similar type to the games we create. Case in point: Farm Simulator is the first game from this cooperation we are announcing. Have a look and let us know what you think:
Our crowdfunding campaign finished yesterday, and I'd like to take this chance to offer my most sincere thank you to each and every one who helped, be it by pledging or by sharing the word. For a small indie team like mine, which consists of a single person managing almost everything and a few talented freelancers, KS is the only way we can keep on making BL games: we don't have a publisher funding our games or helping with promotion, so all you see it's just our hard work.
Besides funding Exes Assault!!, we unlocked two stretch goals: a pole dancing scene and a polyamory route! I hope you are excited about them ;)
And sadly, we didn't reach the full voice acting goal, but we'll be adding partial voice acting to the game!
