A lot of you have asked what's next for Clone Drone in the Danger Zone and if there will be major new updates. We've been working on adding new content to Clone Drone in the Danger Zone and improving your experience. We hope everyone is excited about the VR game, but don't worry we've not forgotten about PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox!
A New Challenge coming soon!
We are building a new challenge that focuses on Allies called the Ally Challenge. It contains 10 brand new levels where you will get to team up with other bots in the arena!
The update will come with some other surprises and bug fixes. You will have to wait and see exactly what it will include!
Join the discord to see when our new Level Designer Dylan is organising playtests for future levels!
//bug fixes - Architect Mode: It wasn't saving newly deployed contraptions. - Barrow Bonebolster spell: Casting this on a Waxen Bandit/Mugger/Cannibal/Shaman could cause a crash. - Mausoleum Awakening: The Stage intro texts weren't showing. - Boning Totem contraption: This could mistakenly level up Waxen Bandit/Mugger/Cannibal/Shaman which could result in weirdness (eg their icon not showing in the Status Screen). - Crypt Hub - Goblusious: He would give you Gold Coins when researching items. - Cyclop Exile class: When boneraising from a Hero Soul the Banish/Re-roll button tips could cover the item's max cap number. - HUD: The Bones percentage could sometimes reach 100% without giving a boneraise (even when not busy with an action). - When choosing a map the Unsanctified Crypt would show +9 Souls (instead of +10). - Itemography: Barrow Boners weren't showing their attack type (Melee). - Deamon Hole relic: It's description was missing a full stop. - "Architect" was sometimes spelt wrongly as "Archetech". - Giga Banishment text was incorrectly saying it won't appear during only Mausoleum Awakening runs. - Giga Banished items weren't displaying the correct text in the Compendium and Creative Plaything hub. - Creative Plaything - hub: Relic descriptions that differ when you have more than 1 were only showing the level 1 text.
Thank you all for being patient and we hope you have all had an amazing start to the new year!
We're happy to finally drop our first release of 2023 which includes some much needed movement on the Main Story (2 events), another Heart Event with Victoria and a Hotel Invite with Professor Belmont.
This update is a little on the smaller side, as we took some time off to spend with family and friends over the holiday season 😊.
We were hoping to include another hotel invite with Victoria in this update, but as the scene was needing a bit more time, we'll be pushing that till the next update. We apologise, but hope it will be well worth the wait!
If you have any issues, find any bugs or just want to chat - you can contact us on our Discord channel! We're usually around if we're awake :D

Hello again, thank you all for waiting and your patience. We're currently all working really hard, so I hope you'll forgive the lack of polish on this update. It feels like we're 'knee deep' in content right now and trying to finalise all these things takes a lot of energy.
We're getting into the final stages of the project and the end is in sight, but still not close enough for us to announce a date.
It's motivating to be at this point as we now just have a checklist of things to finish before we are comfortable announcing a release window. I'll get more into details below.
Overall update
Over the past few months we have been working on bosses/quests. These are really the last things we need to finish before we can release.
The musician has reworked and polished some boss tracks since we have the time for it.
VFX for bosses are also being given an extra polish and some bonus VFX added. It's looking great!
The update is a bit sparse but really we just need to finish the quest animations, boss battles and polish up our levels to look prettier.
We're going through each map to finalise them 1 by 1 and so any missing things that pop up during this process are being added as well.
While this does seem straightforward it's very time consuming so please don't get too hyped yet about a release date announcement. We will announce our release date a few months in advance. So thank you for your patience again. We really appreciate it. :)
Closing Notes
As usual we will be active in the community and answering questions when they arise. We'll be working on our marketing strategy soon and then we'll be able to share a lot more info about the game and what you can expect.
