GroundFall - SnowCreature
Hi all!
This patch has some fun new features and improvements:
  • New: Airstrip Missions Manager - read signs to get current and next airstrip objective information and fly-over previews. POI objectives in development.
  • New: Big Rocks - big rock biome for some airstrips. More biomes in development (e.g. stumps, logs, small rocks, puddles, etc.
  • New: game mechanic that uses Morse code emergency locator radio signal for Search and Rescue (SAR) missions. As you fly closer to a transmitter, the SOS signal becomes clearer and louder.
  • Changed: decreased default input sensitivity for mouse and joysticks. ATTENTION: Requires users to reset their player preferences.
  • Changed: decreased the re-spawn timer
  • Improved: made the rain FX and raindrop splashes more visible
  • Improved: the volumetric cloud lighting color is now set to match the sun light color.

...more good stuff on the way!

Note: I just noticed some color popping on the big rocks...researching problem and possible fix.

ATTENTION: I recently learned that that you have to clear your player preferences to see the controller changes I've been making. I'll have more information on this soon.

Sun Down Survivors - Pixel Sprout Studios
Hey Everyone!

It’s Bruce, Director at Pixel Sprout Studios!

Today is a huge day for us because Sun Down is available now on Steam! While this game may be new to you all, we have been hard at work for months toiling away at making a roguelike that we hadn’t seen before and something that we wanted to play. I am very excited to be sharing this project with you all, and I do hope you all enjoy Sun Down.

Play as Darius, the Demon King of Withergate, who specializes in sword combat, and Lucia, the Archmage of Sun Haven, who specializes in fire magic. Spend the day exploring the world, gathering materials, growing crops, and fighting hordes of monsters!

Monsters will seek you out, so stay vigilant! They want to make sure you’re taken down, lest they return to Dynus, The Moon Dragon, empty-handed. So keep those spells handy and make sure you’re prepared for Sun Down! Once Sun Down comes, you’ll need to fight for your life against the seemingly endless waves of monsters sent by Dynus himself.

You can survive from Spring through Winter, but know that only the most skilled fighters have ever earned such an honor.

Environment Art Updates
A lot of art polishing has been done in this update on various environments, primarily Relic City and our Merchant Company. Relic City is now more densely populated to better represent the bustling city it is.

The amount of roaming NPCs in towns and cities now also changes depending on if it is day or night.

Company Mode - First Gameplay Section
The first playable section of Company Mode is now available. This allows the player to accept jobs from the job board, embark on a job, complete (or fail) the job, and then return to the company with their earnings.

Next on the to-do list will be to work on the progression system, as well as design and implement more content for this mode.

System Updates and Balancing
Various updates and balancing have also been added in this build.

Firstly, an autosave system is now in place. This is especially helpful during alpha as before if a player were to encounter bugs, they may lose a big portion of their game progress due to a game crash.

A small update to the guards in your convoy: their attacks and misses will now be calculated independently. Their duration of stay will now also be action-based instead of time-based to match other elements of the game.

Finally, some game balancing has been done to Story Mode jobs to reduce difficulty.

We always need more testers for the game, sign up here if you'd like to be an Alpha/Beta tester for future builds!

WHEEL TRAVEL - NeoNamazu

1. Added difficulty selection. In order to express the machine-likeness, we implemented a thorough destruction depiction, but this made the game too difficult, so we made it possible to switch the destruction by difficulty level.

2. Added "TravelPoint" as a reward based on travel distance. These points can be redeemed mainly for secondary elements. At the moment, it is possible to purchase furniture and rooms for Construction features.

3. Added Construction function. Buildings have no function related to the progress of the game, but it is possible to display vehicles and screenshots.

4. Added photo mode. By default F11 will enter photo mode and F12 will save screenshots.

In addition, in the Construction function, there is a bug that the vehicles on display are displayed separately at a low probability.
We also plan to fix bugs and confusing features in the next update.
