Give your players sun-touched deserts to explore that are more than just the same sand tile over and over with the KR Untamed Desert Tileset! Kokoro Reflections is here with a pack filled with desert-themed tiles to turn boring flat wastelands into unique locations to explore. Have your heroes follow a trickle of water through yellow sand until it reveals a lush hidden oasis where an energetic trading town has sprung up from the ground, with wooden stalls and cooling awnings standing between stone and stucco buildings. If the desert is simply an area for your heroes to train while they search for the next story beat, then create an inn where they can rest and recover in small rooms decorated with shelves and potted cacti.

Harness the power of Sol and Luna with the KR Sun and Moon Tileset! Kokoro Reflections looked to the sky for inspiration in this pack, creating beautiful tiles to help you make magical castles. A1, A2, A4, A5, and B tiles are ready for you to build exteriors and interiors of your palaces and dungeons, letting your players explore bush-filled gardens before wandering into a guest bedroom for a nap while they wait for their turn to meet with the kingdom’s ruler. Multiple stained glass windows, colorful mosaic floorings, and carved statues of the sun and moon can turn any empty room into a gorgeous temple, and simpler details like teacups, filled bookcases, and portraits give rooms a more lived-in feeling.

Both the moon and sun tiles are placed in the same spots of each set, making it easy to create a unique dungeon! Bring subtle sounds and music to your game with atmosphere! ayato sound create is back with another music pack, this time offering up 12 BGM tracks that focus on atmospheric sounds over bombastic beats and orchestral overtures. Let your players explore your game world as water burbles in the background and birds tweet cheerfully in the trees above their heads, or have wind chimes jingle in the background while they piece together important clues at the latest crime scene.

Not every map or cutscene needs blasting music for its audio, and this pack knows that. Mixing together simple instrumentals melodies with natural background noises, these songs create the perfect tracks for setting the mood without the need to add in extra BGS files. Let a slow piano piece play while rain patters in the background and the creaks of nearby neighbors pop in here and there to remind your hero that they’re not alone no matter how gloomy they feel in the moment, or have the crunch of footsteps and bird songs play as your players wander a not-quite-empty park early in the morning. Set your players off-balance with an eerie electronic tune playing over the thump of feet and muffled calls of children playing during a cutscene where your hero recalls the first time they met the villain, and have the woosh of cars driving by and calmer music ground them in the present once they step back outside into the sunlight. Each track comes in multiple file formats, so it’s simple to add right into your current project. Add in the right ambience to your cutscenes and maps with the atmosphere music pack!
DeadOS - Benn
Hi everyone! I'm all finished with the UI changes for now and have a new feature to bring you this week!



Cars now have a third state where they are completely destroyed. When they are destroyed in this way they act as if they no longer exist and units can pass over them. The purpose of this is for a few reasons.

Firstly there have been issues with vehicles trapping units in-between vehicles in a place where zombies and military are unable to get to them. Having a system in place for them to destroy vehicles means they can get over this obstacle.

The AI for the military and zombies isn't in place to do this yet (coming next week hopefully!) so at the moment the only way cars get destroyed is when an already damaged vehicle is hit by another car. I will be working on getting the AI involved in this system but it's beyond the scope of a single week update.

I'm hoping that having a system for dealing with cars in awkward spots will mean that I can allow vehicles to do a lot more things, crashing into buildings and driving into awkward positions as currently that would cause issues with blocking entrances and such. I'd love to see vehicles crashing through store windows!

Battle Pass is back for Season X, Commanders!

Starting from March 1 and running until May 31, Season X will feature familiar rules and offer many valuable prizes—all while adding some new treats to your plate! In addition to new progressive styles, an expanded roster of Token rewards (plus two brand-new vehicles), and a new piece of equipment (Bounty Hardening), there will be some things you’ve never seen before. You will be able to uncover the Season's story and earn up to three more Tokens by completing the new Collection feature.

New Rewards and Features of Season X
  • The Core Vehicles of Season X are the Rinoceronte, the Maus , and the UDES 15/16. The progressive styles you can obtain for them are all desert-themed.
  • A desert-covered region is where a brand-new trio of hero tankers is heading—to engage in an armored treasure hunt with many obstacles to overcome.
  • The story of the heroes’ exploits unfolds in the descriptions of some of the Season X Stage and Chapter rewards. The styles, decals, medal, and crew members themselves form a Collection (a feature to be introduced later on in the Season). Depending on the number of Collection Elements (“plot items”) gathered, you can earn up to three additional Tokens during Season X.
  • A new piece of equipment—Bounty Hardening—will be among the progression and Token rewards.
  • The Tier IX reward roster has expanded with two brand-new vehicles: the KPz 3 Projekt 07 HK and the BZ-58-2.
  • On top of the usual selection, styles and crew members from Seasons VII and IX will now be offered in the Reward section of the in-game Store.
Progressive Styles for New Core Vehicles

Here are the three desert-themed progressive styles of Season X:

  • Wüstenschiff for the Maus
  • Svadilfari for the UDES 15/16

As usual, each style has four levels. Level I unlocks once you activate the corresponding Chapter for the first time, and Level IV is reached when you complete that Chapter.

New Battle Pass Heroes

These are the new characters you can recruit after you complete their Chapters:

Bold and familiar-looking Sandro Mancini from Italy
Introverted and meticulous Emil Kittel from Germany
Enigmatic and aloof Rebecca Holmberg from Sweden
Each of the crew members comes with Brothers in Arms as a zero perk and enough XP to train two more skills or perks. You will also be able to select their nation and main specialization.

Bounty Hardening and Other Rewards

The list of Season X Base and Improved Rewards is long and includes days of WoT Premium Account, bonds, credits, Garage slots, Personal Reserves, equipment, and more. One reward is of special note: Bounty Hardening. It can significantly increase the survivability of your vehicle.

2D Styles, Decals, and a Unique Medal

Among the Season X rewards are many memorable ones that deserve closer looks. Check them out:
  • Three 2D styles, one per Chapter, all inspired by the desert adventure theme central to Season X, and each one telling part of its story.

  • Three decals with animals from the region where the heroes are heading, one for each Chapter.

  • A unique medal for completing 150 Stages of the Season X Progression.

Rewards for Points

Once you complete all three Chapters, you’ll get access to the Reward section of the in-game Store. You can spend all your Battle Pass Points earned throughout the Season there on bonds and the following goodies:
  • Progressive styles for all Battle Pass Core Vehicles from the previous Seasons (except Season VIII)
  • Unique crew members from the previous Seasons (except Season VIII)
The Reward section of the in-game Store will be available until May 31, 2023 at 02:30 CEST (UTC+2) on EU servers, until May 30, 2023 at 00:30 PT | 02:30 CT | 03:30 ET on NA servers and until 30 May 2023 at 14:00 (UTC+8) on ASIA servers. You will continue to earn and accumulate Battle Pass Points even after completing the entire Season X Progression.

Remember to spend your Points before the end of the Season to redeem your rewards. Otherwise, all unused Battle Pass Points will disappear!
Rewards for Battle Pass Tokens

You can obtain up to 21 Battle Pass Tokens from the Season X Progression (12 from the Base Rewards and 9 from the Improved Rewards), plus up to 3 additional Tokens for gathering Collection Elements. (Collections will be a staple of every Season in 2023.)

You can spend Tokens in the Items for Tokens section of the in-game Store or save them up and spend them later in upcoming Battle Pass Seasons of 2023. Tokens accumulate throughout the year.

The list of rare Tier IX vehicles available for Tokens has grown once again—there are now nine vehicles. The new stars are the KPz 3 Projekt 07 HK and the BZ-58-2. Both are equipped with Standard Large Repair Kits (the “limitless” ones).

The KPz 3 Projekt 07 HK is a German sniper TD. It has a Siege mode that is activated manually like on Swedish high-tier TDs, increasing the effective gun depression angle to −12 degrees. Its basic APCR rounds fly very quickly, special HEAT rounds have high penetration for Tier IX, and HE rounds have outstandingly high penetration for this shell type. The vehicle has a low silhouette, and its mobility while in Siege mode easily allows you to roll back after a successful shot without switching to Travel mode.

The BZ-58-2 (worth 24 Tokens) is a bit unlike your typical Chinese breakthrough heavy. It packs a powerful punch, has a sturdy turret and is a bit slow to aim. However, the gun is rather precise for a heavy and has a −8 degree depression angle, which—together with a bouncy upper glacis plate—makes terrain-based play a viable option.

Please note that the KPz 3 Projekt 07 HK costs 27 Tokens. Considering that gathering the Collection gets you three Tokens on top of the 21 that come as progression rewards, you can get very close to this vehicle in Season X. By keeping your Tokens, you will be able to snatch the TD soon after the next Season begins. Below you can see the cost of every Token reward vehicle and item so that you can plan your acquisitions in Season X.



Collection

To help you piece together the story of Season X, we decided to unite certain rewards (both Base and Improved) into a Collection, with each Element revealing more about the plot and our heroes. Collections are going to be a staple of Battle Pass from now on. The Season X Collection Elements are progressive and 2D styles as well as decals, a medal, and crew members that you get as Battle Pass progression rewards in the usual manner. Accumulating a certain number of Elements will get you additional Tokens (up to three in total), plus a vehicle customization element. See the thresholds below, plan your progress and get the extra Tokens before Season X ends!



The Tokens you have earned for gathering the Collection Elements will be credited when the Collection becomes available on the Battle Pass screen in April.

Hi there! It's been a while since we last saw each other. It's been so long since the last public patch that I'm not sure I know how to write patch notes anymore!

Lots has been happening since then. If you check the git log you'll see that, aside from mission 8 which will be released today, mission 9 has been in the works and we're hoping to have it ready for you to play next week.





On top of the new mission, this update vastly improves the experience of playing the game. Everything from game balance, weapon system, and NPC’s A.I. has been greatly improved.



I think the gameplay experience is much closer to the “high-speed mecha action” that we always aim for. Please give older missions a try again! We think you will find them much more enjoyable.



Warspite’s Cyberdrones (or commonly called ‘Funnels’) have been updated with new combat behavior and weapons. We are still uncertain if they need a nerf in the next patch or not, since this type of swarm weapons is one of several things distinguishing Nimbus Frames from general Battle Frames. Still, the sight of funnels converging around the target with energy beams should be a treat for the eyes.

(Warspite’s funnels, for now, are controlled by A.I. not by pilot’s brainwave like Mirai’s funnels so they have different official names.)





On to the highlight of this patch: “216 Seconds Before the End of the World”

** Major SPOILER warning for the previous mission in Nimbus INFINITY!**



After the fall of Fort Carson, its massive remains threatened to fall onto the Earth through the atmosphere and cause widespread destruction. Taiyo, Luna and Warspite managed to break the debris apart over the Indian Ocean just in time, mitigating a crisis. Still, countless smaller fragments rained down and impacted various major cities around the Mediterranean Sea.



Akatsuki is forced to enter the atmosphere in ISA’s airspace, making the original goal of reaching Washington DC infeasible. The nearest safe territory would be Temasek Orbital Elevator City.

“Temasek might be even safer than Washington DC. We don’t even have to get up into space. Why didn't we take this route in the first place?” Someone in a pilot suit muttered out loud in the quiet of the CIC room.

With the elevator providing energy to all of CFN cities within the Eurasia region, it is certain that the city would be highly protected. The lack of Hydrogen-3 particles would spell doom for flying cities that have yet to descend back down to Earth.



ISA government activates its missile silo in Phuket, Andaman Sea, threatening to launch waves of hypersonic cruise missiles at Temasek Orbital Elevator if the CFN does not respond to their demands: reimburse the damage caused by the falling debris, and hand over the Akatsuki along with all its equipment and crew as war criminals.

This seemingly ineffectual threat is backed by the presence of MERCURE, ISA’s best special force over the Indian Ocean, where the Akatsuki is located.

“They blamed us even though it was MERCURE’s own doing.”
“Yeah. Wasn’t there anyone saying that Temasek is safer than DC?”
“Just forget about it.”

The simple coincidence that Phuket is right between the Indian Ocean and Temasek has Cpt. Mahkmudov thinking of doing something reckless…



The Battle Frame squadron has only 216 seconds to destroy the missile silos and withdraw from the area. Fly level near the water surface to avoid radar detection and anti-air defense, and complete the mission before the MERCURE fleet arrives.

Fail to escape in time, and they will face overwhelming firepower with only 1% chance of survival.

PATCH NOTES

New Features:

- Superpower: Short-lived Immortality has changed to - "Become immune for a short period of time. While this effect is active, your bullets are additionally affected by your Superpower upgrades."

The storm system has been tweaked to try to reduce situations where you get completely cut off with nowhere to go. The following changes have been made:
- The storm will no longer spread into a room containing Bobbins unless the player has discovered that room.
- The storm will no longer spread more that one room's height above the player
- If the storm is between 3 and 8 rooms away, it will only spread to rooms in the player's direction.
- Slightly increased the maximum spread rate of the storm to balance out these changes.

Polish and bug fixes:
- Gave every entry in the Unfolding Stories section of the journal a unique icon
- Updated and polished upgrade descriptions & titles
- Fixed a bug where save data would get corrupted
- Balance pass on the cost of items in the shop
- Updated the font on Tutorial boards
- Updated the appearance of button prompts
- Updated the colour of the highlight enemies mode to be more friendly on the eyes for people with colour blindness
- Fixed bug where the blurred background in menu screens would show an old room the player had been in
- Shiny stones will now automatically travel to the player if there are no enemies in the room when they spawn
- Fixed some tiles being on the wrong layer in the Temple
- Buffed the health of Imps
- Bees now slow down when they inflate
- Added singing voices for the dreamy text in the start of run sequence
- Increased the volume of combat music
