WorldBox - God Simulator - WorldBob




One of the major new features of the upcoming update is a brand new diplomacy system, which we're calling "Plans and Plots". This mechanic brings everything together into one connected system, including clans, alliances, rebellions and wars.



Prior to this update, diplomacy was happening behind the scenes, with players only able to see the results of the decisions made by kings and leaders. However, with the new system, royal clan members will first create a plan before making any major moves.



For instance, they might initiate a plan to start a war, form an alliance, or even spark a rebellion. These plans will take time to come to fruition, and players will be able to track their progress as they unfold.

And, of course, the fun part is that you will be able to handle it and direct your attention towards a king who intends to wage war against your favorite kingdom. (With life eraser, bombs, or Crabzilla lasers)



There are currently several different types of plots available, including starting a war, creating a treaty, forming/breaking an alliance and inciting rebellion. We have plans(heh) to add even more plot types in the future, but those will come in later updates.

Welcome back! After a bit of a delay, the next update is here! This will probably be the last update for awhile because after being out for almost a year, the game has kind of ran its course. I still have several cut things from this update, so maybe there will be be some smaller fixes and updates still!

  • Post-Processing tweaks
  • New pickup system
  • Controller support (Xbox controller only)
  • A second floor along with a bunch of new rooms

First bit of news, I've settled on 24th March 2023 for transitioning from Early Access to full launch on Steam.

This update includes some small changes to armour and protection. Heavier armour will slow you down but also provide increased protection. There's also a new Spiky Armour which finally gives Thorny Claws and Sharp Beaks a purpose besides being makeshift weapons.



Finally, the last endgame quest has been added to the game. Here's a little hint on what you'll be dealing with:

Minigunner Build 0.8.1.2 Patch Notes

In this small patch we are making changes to make the game more accessible for players that are still getting into it, by making improvements to the progression you can make in easy mode.

General
-More achievements (both general and mercenary specific) are now available in easy mode!

-"Blinded by the Light" achievement requirement has been reduced from a 10s stun to a 7s stun

-"Making progress" achievement requirement has been raised to beating wave 15 in easy mode

-New Lighting VFX for ticking cluster bomb explosions and Vulkanite Ingot detonations!

Items
-Heavy Shopper and Ammonite have had their ammo rates adjusted for the minigunner

-Vulkanite Ingot now ignites enemies as intended

You haven’t heard from us in a while (because we’ve been super heads-down on finishing up our game!) but this is indie game Solace State, a cyberpunk visual novel about friendship, civic duty, and the biotech revolution.

We are SO excited to announce that our game will be released on Xbox and Steam later this year!

Dev Progress
We’ve added lots of polish in our artwork, including even more character art and environment art for our thriving metropolis! Did you know that the game now has 31 fully illustrated characters? Chloe, our main character, has 58 poses and counting!



Extra polish also means improved accessibility by using OpenDyslexic font and character highlights to show who's talking, 50 save slots (wooow!), and getting everything ready to port over to Xbox!

Here’s an announcement you probably don’t care about, but I’m going to tell you anyways. Somehow we tricked a publisher, Freedom Games (https://freedom.gg) into publishing RICE. Yep. That’s right. R.I.C.E, the repetitive INDIE combat experience has a publisher now. >:D

Don’t worry, they’re not changing anything with the game. You’ll still be committing planetary genocide. Freedom Games will be helping a lot to advertise the game, do PR, manage events…etc. You know, all the stuff customers think happens magically and don’t realize there’s a swath of people getting somehow paid to do all this. This allows us to just keep doing our thing while Freedom will help fulfill all our desires to make a Repetitive Indie Combat Experience.
