New - Extra HP Item - added! The Sorcerer and the Wizard can now get extra permanent hit points, the special item is available in certain zones, starting in zone 19 and 39.

Current health and maximum health points are now permanently displayed on the screen.

Crazy Wizard's starting HP is now 4, including the ship in zone 34.

Mushroom item effect now lasts 20 seconds but its effects carry on to other zones if the timer hasn't expired.

Mushroom item added to zone 6 and 59.

Giant rat removed from zone 27.

Balance changes to zone 15.

Removed randomness from lava boulder spawners from zone 40 and upwards to improve speedrunning.

New Cutscene
Welcome back to another Iragon changelog. This week we have the official introduction of the dragon leader Ada. In this cutscene our heroes finally meet the person holding Jenna's precious sphere. The one thing that's keeping Jenna from finding an important for her place. Ada however, isn't so willing to give up the sphere and she's ready put up a real fight. This and more is testable in both TP and VR in the Experimental Hall, through the "Jenna Dragon Intro" portal.

Should grinding be a part of RPGs?

There are many different types of RPGs in the world of video games and different things work depending on their main game loop and general gameplay, the way the present themselves, the expectation that's set, the playerbase, the time of release and infinitely many other factors. A popular concept in many RPGs is grinding in order to be able progress. You can grind for different things, like levels or items, but in the end of the day the idea is the same. You have to stop progressing for a bit, so you can be able to get over a hurdle that the game presents you with. But is this an enjoyable game mechanic and should it stick around? • 3d Printer is now accessible from Quick-Ref!
• Construction is now fully accessible from Quick-Ref!
• Added 5 new printer storage slots for the 3d Printer, and 2 of them are FREE!
• Added Loot Filter to the Cards section of the codex. Filter out drops you dont want!
• Added the Premium Stat Swapper stone for premium hats in the Gem Shop. It costs 25 gems and can be used infinitely! It allows you to transfer powerful Premium Hat bonuses from Bundles to other premium hats, even ones you premium-ify using the Premiumifier in the Gem Shop!


• Completely overhauled certain behind-the-scenes tech, so the game will run smoother, crash less, and provide an overall better experience!
• Added "View Only" display so you know which Quick-Ref features actually allow you to interact with them.
• Spear-type weapons no longer hit multiple enemies if used by a non-warrior class. Sorry spearheads, but your time has come.
• Adjusted Homing Arrows talent to be a bit more 'choosey' with its targest, so each cast hits more unique enemies and further away enemies!
• Buffed 'STR'essed Garb Warrior Talent (STR from equipment is worth more STR) to give the same bonus that the equivalent talent for Archers and Mages give.
• Added the fabled T damage indicator! Show up if you do more than 9,999,999M damage in a single hit.



• Decreased the base EXP multiplier of Crystal Monsters from 35x to 30x
• Changed Auto Loot to trigger after 5 seconds instead of 15 seconds
• Boosted arrow speed by +40% for all archers!
• Both Divine Knight's and Siege Breaker's Family Bonuses are boosted by "Family Guy" talent, in addition to the Family Bonuses your character provides. This way you don't need to swap to DK and SB to most effectly utilize their Family Bonuses.
• Altered Magma Core Headdress helmet to [+6% All stats]. Previously, it gave both [+5% All stats] and [+6% Damage].


• Fixed a rare, but deadly, crash involving cards that would lock people out of characters. This is fixed, and will no longer happen!

Thank you to everyone that signed up to playtest, we’re in awe at the amount of players that applied! We've now closed the official sign-up form and won't be taking on more players.

We have already started to notify successful players. This is a process and will take a few days to get the NDA’s out to you. These will be sent to the emails you left with us, so please keep an eye on your inbox and spam folders!

We will be contacting only the selected applicants.

Once we have heard back from all players that were sent NDA’s, we will be able to start the playtesting!

Greetings, Kart Racers!

We're overjoyed that you continue to share your thoughts and ideas on how to enhance The Karetrs 2: Turbo Charged. As you may know, your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share what aspects and features are most crucial to you. We will take into account every idea and feedback that will make the game better!
The thing is that there are also very amazing requests that are not directly related to the game development and as much as we want to give you everytihing you ever wanted, as a small studio we also need to prioritize the features that are very important for the development and the ones that can wait in line.

That being said, we nevertheless want to give ourselves a little extra push to give you more, we came up with the idea of community challenges and stretch goals. By achieving these goals, we'll have a visual representation of the growth of our community and this will give us added motivation to create very special perks for the community.



So here's the deal, our challenges are all about following and adding "The Karters" to your wishlist on Steam. This is extremely important for us because the more followers and wishlists we have, the more visibility the game gets on Steam and attracts more kart racing fans.



Currently, The Karters has 355 members in its group (you can easily verify it HERE) and our top goal for this community will be to raise this number as high as possible!

Overall, we have already planned three stretch goals based on the most frequently occurring ideas on our Discord channel. However, two slots are still available, so the opportunity is yours to propose additional ideas in comments section or on Discord! :-)

1st challenge - what is it about?

STRETCH GOAL: reaching 1000 followers & 5000 wishlists on Steam
PERK: live streaming showcasing all the Power-ups in The Karters!

Our first challenge is to reach 1000 followers and 5000 wishlists on Steam in just 2 wild weeks (by 25th February). Our aim is to transmit the stream prior to the beta launch, which is why the timeline is quite limited.
If we reach our stretch goal, we'll be live streaming to showcase all the power-ups in The Karters 2.

The next stretch goal is Playstation, Xbox & Switch Consoles Demo so we hope it is something worth fighting for :-)
