Update plan for the coming period, 0.52.003 update list

In order to make the map and level content updates more continuous and complete, we may use 2-3 big level updates to finish the main plot part of this work.


The following is the tentative plan.

The current level of completeness is 50%.

With the 2nd major update, the game will be 65% complete

The 3rd major update, the game will be 80% complete

The 4th major update will bring the game to 100% completeness, followed by a full release.

We can't be sure of the exact timing of each major update for now, but basically there will be a few months between each one.

In between major updates, we will continue to improve the game's small details, fix bugs, and launch costume DLC at each discount.

After the official version, we will continue to update part of the branch elements, hidden bosses, etc. If the game's popularity can be higher in the future (the number of reviews exceeds 3000+), we
will allocate more manpower to add more new content.

Optimized part of the pre-game guide process, so that players can play the game more smoothly, and made the archive compatible, will not affect the old archive

Adjusted the aerial move logic of Erza Japanese Blade and Nia Fist Blade, replacing the diagonal attack with a ranged attack, eliminating the need to enter commands such as ↗/↘+X

Since there is no need to press and ↑ in a lot of commands in the air, the setting of holding ↑ in the air and then pressing X after landing will trigger the "bounce back" skill has been changed back, so there is no need to press ↑ after landing again.

Erza "stabbing sword" of the "sky dash dance" command modified to ↓ ↑ J

Fixed the bug that the "Mermaid Boss" may stay in the water after jumping down and not jump up.

Fixed the bug that the character might swallow the command when landing, for example, releasing "Bash" or "Attack" at the moment of landing and then it might have no effect.

Auyi added a hint of MP consumption in the menu description

Fixed the bug that NIA has a red arrow in the dressing scene

Fixed the bug that the fire spitting effect of "Slippery Scale Python" would occasionally be displayed incorrectly.

Fixed the bug that you can't crouch when you hold down ↓ during hardening.

Fixed the bug that NIA may get stuck after encountering the plot of the empty island.

Fixed the bug that the boss will float in the air for a long time after being hit by floating attack in challenge mode.

Fixed the bug that players may get stuck for 0.2 seconds when triggering the dialog box.

The bug that the recommendation of anti-aliasing settings in the "performance test" function is wrong is fixed.

Fixed the bug that Erza's weapon model is wrong in the plot animation.

If you want to help smash the bugs, please send me bug reports. Not many players do it and they are really helpful. It’s very easy. Just enable in the options 'send log by spacebar' and once you notice anything weird, press space bar on your keyboard and follow the instructions.

P.S.2 You might have noticed some little daily patches, no point to announce them, it's just me trying to fix some bugs here and there. Sometimes with the luck, sometimes without it.

As we have moved from the designing phase to fully implementing 1.12 features, we will - as always - start sharing with you information about various new or improved features that you will be able to find in the next update.

Today we would like to mention two specific changes we made based on your feedback. 

The first one we already mentioned in the last Live Stream (which was a lot of fun as usual :) ). We know that sailing can get a bit tedious at times, so for 1.12 we're making some exciting adjustments that should make it more fun. The first one is - fishing on moving boats! Got a few moments to spare before you reach your destination? Take out your fishing rod and spend some quality time getting the pretty fish (and other stuff).

The second thing is more subtle but many will love it. For quite a long time some of you have complained about the camera not moving smoothly - which was especially obvious with higher fps. Well, we made some changes to the camera system and we're pretty sure you will notice the difference.

There's a ton of other cool stuff planned for 1.12 so stay tuned ... and classy!

Hello everyone, I am C. The Lunar New Year Holiday has been over in the twinkling of an eye, we are now back on our busy work.

There's so many things we need to prepare at the beginning of the year, including the system development arrangement, preparing New Event, optimizing game expereience, producing new content.
However, I miss everyone so much and thinking that I have not reaching out to you for a long time, so I took some time out of my shcdule to write this article, in case I want to share current progress with you

First of all, I will introduce the schedule about this month. Due to limited time and energy, many functions that players care about may not be implemented in a short time, such as equipment pre-set function, female commander and talent tree, etc.. We will try to launch as early as possible while ensuring quality, to bring a better experience to everyone

Next I will briefly introduce some arrangement that players may care about:
I am going to begin with new balckguard, I know some of you have waited her for a long time, but unfortunitely, depending on the remaining work-load, it might need to wait till the end of February to release, please be patient while we are working~(hearsay: the new blackguard will fill the profession lefted on the SS)


New Event And Gameplay Design
After referring to lots of games, conbining with our game's actual situation, we made a preliminary plan for future event. We hope that the future event can be updated and refreshed with an order, and the event content will be more inclined to resource consumption. Even the resource consumption will also be segmented, allowing all players to earn more rewards with careful arrangement

For instance, if this round's event is AP related event, the next round might be diamond related, the one after next might be fragment consumption event.....the event will be rotated with order. If players find out that he cannot get all reward of this round, he can choose to deposit for one round and participate the next round to get all reward, so that everyone could get all reward with rational resource allocation(Leak: Next event will be AP related, save if needed)

Blackmarket Adjustment
We are planing to adjust the refresh consumption rule, the rule after adjustment will be : First 8 times refreshing will consume 400 coins, therefore, the cost of each refresh doubles, and the redeemable amount of all items except equipment and Tome of the chosen will be doubled
The Dried Meat will be replaced by Smoked Meatloaf, 1 available per refresh

Weakness System Design

We are going to introduce a brand new design into our game, But how to do it is a difficult subject, we need to consider monster animation, camera, Ui, and consider either or not to add Hero weakness related featuer. Fortunitely currently we already have a frame about how to design, plaining to release in game within this month, we will also share more detail in the future announcement

Looking back to the very beginning, the Book of Yog has been online for nearly half year, in fact, the results are way beyond my expectations. As a small team, I understand that the team has a lot of shortcomings and the game content is not plenty, but we are so grateful that so many players to accompany with us. In the New Year, we will listen to our players more carefully and bring you better game content.

  • Fixed a bug where a puzzle in the final dungeon could lock the player out of progression if the room was left at a particular time.

  • Also fixed a bug where the player could accidentally teleport from the World Map into a dungeon and become trapped.

  • Finally, we improved the situation around an issue whereby playtime shown would be double or triple the correct amount when playing on a high refresh-rate monitor.
