Bug fixes:
I found the source of the known audio problem. Some levels had an older audio check active alongside a newer audio check. This caused a hiccup where the first note would be played twice when starting that level. The problem should be fixed for good now, but if you happen across it, let me know.

There was also a new oversight found when finishing the game and starting a new game. The player would retain their old health and number of continues from the final boss level. This has now been fixed.

Extra Information:
I forgot to mention that I moved a few NPCs, and I updated the terrain at the end of the first level.

🎯 [Continuum Challenges] Continuum Challenges are now available in the beta test branch from the new station platform in Reginald (waypoint 1 in Act 1)! Each challenge provide fixed player buffs such as bonus skill points when completed. Beware: If you die during the challenge, you need to restart it completely. Unlock them by completing a Continuum Event (any - you need to do this again even if you have completed a Continuum Event pre this patch).

Credits! If you have helped the game anytime in the last four years, either by submitting ideas, reported bugs, or performed translations, then you are included in the game credits (accessible on the main menu). The credits list will be updated regularly with new contributors, or changed callsigns of existing contributors (there is a delay of at least two versions for any changes to propagate to the credits, so please be patient).

Cheating. Although cheating has always been officially disallowed, during Early Access there was some leniency towards cheaters (they would be kicked out, but not banned). Recently, however, the increase in number of players attempting to cheat, as well as the unsophisticated, crude approach of the cheats (which result in many crashes, corruptions, and general instability), have necessitated a change in the cheating policy.

Happy New Year to all players. Bunny Girl Chun-Lan wishes happiness will always be with you.


Today is the first day of the Year of rabbit, and also a full month after the game "Waifu Fighter" was released. Thanks to everyone's support, our current sales have finally reached 100,000 units.
It is very surprising for us as it is our first game. This allows us to gain more resources to accomplish some features that we didn’t have enough resources to do before.
We will cherish the opportunity to improve our ability in game development. We will become a better production team and with your support.

We are currently working on bug fixes and function updates in response to players’ feedback. We will update another version in the next month, which will make the game compatible with steam deck. Also, fast forward button to skip dialogue, STEAM achievement system and some other functions will be accomplished.
