Well, what we’ve just seen was a heated fishing competition of Winter Pike Tour’s 3rd and final Qualifying Round! Smokin' hot action took place on the snowy and cold White Moose Lake in Canada, and sure melted some ice! After all, it was the last chance for our Pike anglers to score one of the Top-20 results and make it to the Semifinal of Winter Pike Tour! Our congratulations to those twenty lucky Pike catchers, whose names are listed below and who will head on to New York’s Emerald Lake to compete in the WPT Semifinal on January 21st!
It's that time again defenders for some more UPDATES!
Last time we looked at the enemy reactions and how they change based on the players actions. Now it is time to look at the characters animations!
NEW IDLE ANIMATIONS
One way to give our characters some more personality is to add some idle animations. These are triggered if you wait around for a while without moving, which will be relatively difficult considering Murkers will be chasing you a lot!
However, when you can activate these animations they really make the character feel more.....well human. This has been implemented to April, Hune and of course Rido as well!
NEW CHEST ANIMATION
Gone of the days where a box will magically open from a touch of a button. We have applied a new animation where the character will now crouch to unlock the box. It's the little things that increases our immersion!
CHARACTER'S HEAD FOLLOWS THE CAMERA
To help build on a more immersive 3rd person experience we felt it is really important to implement head movement depending on where you put your camera. This small feature makes the character feel more alive and helps align when your are dealing with those pesky Murkers.
This is just the start of all small changes that we are making in the road to 1.0 and we are excited to show you more.
It's been a long time since my last game was released, and I've spent the majority of that time working on this new project. It's been a long and arduous journey and I've learned a ton. Now I'm finally ready to share it with the world. Tell all your friends!
I can't wait to see what you think. If you play it, stick around to the end, the later levels are my favorite ones ;)
Anyway, Please enjoy the game and provide feedback in the in-game feedback menu. I have learned a lot from reading feedback from the demo last year, and I intend to learn more.
Oh, and if you like it, please do write a review, that'd be a great help...
A side note, for those of you who played the demo of the game from half a year ago: A whole lot has changed...
I received tons and tons of feedback, and did my best to address all of it. One of the most common notes I saw was that people didn't find the movement system (jumping, climbing, etc.) satisfying, or it didn't work as expected. Since the demo, I have completely reworked the movement system. Now, there is finer mid-air control, variable jump height and jump-button-press leniency. Also, climbing walls is also much faster and more satisfying now than it was before.
Countless other features have changed since then, so expect a very different (and hopefully much more enjoyable) experience!
In War Robots: Frontiers, there are many gameplay-centric opportunities to enhance your progression, power, and personalization. Certain premium options allow you to speed up your progression or customize your loadout via Blueprints, and you can also purchase components from the Shop with Credits earned in battle.
This video, presented by Xanadib, a producer for War Robots: Frontiers, will explain how many of these options work, and how Robot build upgrades and cosmetics can complement your playstyle and maximize your battle potential.

A world full of arrogance. A place where a Farmer can become the emperor; where a Dwarf can be the highest. Every path of the explorer is not viable. Knight’s shield will not protect you from the wizardry and you won't be able to say who is the real Oracle, as he might turn up disguised and the Assassin will appear suddenly, when you’re not expecting.
Megalomania is a trick-taking card game, played in 2 to 4 players (can be played in pairs). Players are trying to complete missions and gain points, with the help of the power crystals, cubes and scrolls. The winner of the game is the player with the highest points at the end of the game.
It’s the last day of Amplified, so it’s about time we turn our attention to Humankind. We’ve got a new update and scenario for our anniversary, and a little present for those who joined our community after Humankind launched.
The Shackleton Update
Earlier this week, we released the Shakleton update, which includes quality of life improvements, AI improvements, and even some new diplomatic features. You’ll now be able to gift money, influence, and even cities to other players through the diplomacy screen (though it will not directly improve your relations with AI unless it resolves some other grievance), and if you have Together We Rule, you can sign the new Cultural Entente agreement that will stop all “Oppressing my people” grievances while giving extra food and industry. We’ve also taught them not to have so many Prowlers running around, and you’re no longer forced to immediately create a city when you reach the ancient era, either.
Of course, there are many other small improvements and fixes as well, and if you want to know more, you can find them in the patchnotes.
New Scenario: Terra Incognita
For our anniversary scenario, we wanted to create an experience focused on exploration and (scientific) discovery. Antartica was a great candidate for this, as the existence of a “Terra Australis Incognita” had already been suggested thousands of years ago, yet it was only discovered a few hundred years ago, and is an important location for scientific research to this day. It also allowed us to add themes of pollution and preservation, which are quite important to us (as you may be able to tell from our choice of charity for Amplified).
In this scenario, you will start in the Early Modern era and compete with five other empires to discover Antarctica and gain access to its valuable resources. In fact, all late game resources are located in Antarctica, so you should expect some fierce competition. The game will end if any empire researches the end game technologies or gains all contemporary era stars... or perhaps pollution will end your expedition early if you are not careful. We’ve also added some special rules to this scenario to make exploring and exploiting Antarctica more challenging while encouraging research and cooperation.
We can’t wait to hear the stories of your expeditions, and how much Fame you will achieve!
Free Preorder Bonus: Get the Boudicca Persona
We know that many players joined our community after Humankind was released, and some of these players have asked for a way to get the Boudicca avatar and associated player emblems, so for a limited time during Amplified (and only while supplies last), you can grab this bonus content for free in the Amplifiers rewards section.
We hope you’ll have fun with the new scenario, and join us for our celebration stream today,
