Initial Early Access release is here! Next couple weeks of development are largely going to be based around squashing various bugs that inevitably are found after the initial release, then I'll be moving on to pushing out more content, focused primarily on what the community deems as the most important to focus on. If you have any suggestions or bug reports, you can either leave them on the Steam forum, or join the discord here and post them in the Simulacrum section.
We would like to inform everyone that the scheduled server maintenance is over and servers are now up and running.

DEPLOY & DEFEND (LAST STAND)
Deploy & Defend has turned a new leaf and become the limited-time Last Stand mode! Deploy multiple Units at the same time to defend solo through increasing stages of difficulty.

Complete one-time quests in Deploy & Defend (Last Stand) to earn special rewards!
UNIT SHARING
Share your good fortune with your allies with Unit Sharing. Lend your Units to members of your House or Cohort and receive up to 2x Battle Blossoms per day for your generosity!
Each player can borrow a limited number of Units each day. When entering a matchmaking battle, you will get a choice among three random Units from the pool (with priority on higher-tiered ones). There is no limit to the number of times a Unit can be borrowed, but these Units are still affected by leadership caps and the Seasonal Seal.
After a Unit is used by a player, the Unit will be marked and other players will not receive this Unit as part of randomisation while in the deployment interface. When all Units in the shared pool are marked, the marking status will be reset and all Units will become random.
BATTLE ROULETTE
Take a spin in Battle Roulette! Battle on Steppe Village, Harbour City, and Augolia, and respawn with a new random Unit every time you die!
How It Works
Units can’t be changed at Supply Points and will instead be randomly assigned from the following Unit pool after every respawn:
5-Star Units: Modao Battalion, Retiarii, Houndsmen, Monastic Knights, Fire Lancers, and Kheshigs.
There will be three flags on the map for both teams to fight for dominance over. Capturing two or more flags and killing Heroes will decrease the points of the enemy team. Winning is simple—either decrease the point total of your foes to zero or have the most points when time runs out.
You will also have access to limited Rare Artillery, which you should use sparingly to break enemy formations or repel foes at the most opportune moment.
Take part for a chance to be rewarded with Limitless Firepower Chests which contain Legendary and Epic Artillery. You can earn up to 2 Limitless Firepower Chests per day.
Battle Roulette will be active every day during the duration of the event at the following times:
EU1 and EU2: 16:00–20:00 CET & 22:00–02:00 CET
NA2: 07:00–11:00 PST & 13:00–17:00 PST
NA3: 10:00–14:00 EST & 16.00–20.00
The Lunar Festival will continue until February 9. We wish you good fortune in the year ahead!

We've deployed a new hotfix. Dual Universe is now in version 1.2.6. Changes are below:
Bug Fixes
Fixed bug related to inactive territories that prevented starting mining units or calibrating them.
Applying a sort, after having applied a filter in the DSAT panel, was nullifying the filter effect until filters are applied again.
Known Issues
[Lua] The industry getInfo function field, schematicsRemaining, does not return a value until you request an acquisition from the schematic bank.
[Gunnery Tutorial] With the new tactical map, there are some inconsistencies in the Gunnery Tutorial. The tutorial still works, but the steps that describe the periscope (now replaced by the tactical map) are out of date.
We are aware of an issue where surface ore that should spawn at the end of calibration in fact does not spawn correctly, we are currently investigating the issue.
We continue the work on fixing and improving the game thanks to your feedback. Thank you very much for your support!
We hope you all had a great holiday season 🥳. To kick off the new year, we put together the first part of our upcoming balancing patch for the beta branch. This patch is focused on improving various aspects of the game especially the early game progression and the overall pace of the game.
There are many more things we have planned for the second chunk of this update. But for those of you interested in getting your hands on the latest content we believe this is the best way to gather early feedback before we fully implement the changes. Playing on the Beta Branch:
While this branch will grant access to new content it's very important that you back up Your Save before playing in this branch.
For a full guide on how to access the beta branch, click Here Below, Patch notes for Version v0.304.27b:
Difficulty Changes:
New:
Resources needed for crafting at the workstations, have been normalized across all difficulties.
Overwhelming Quests will now provide extra rewards in the same fashion Challenging Quests do.
Changes:
Slightly Improved resource gain from quests, especially for Hardcore Difficulty.
Increased resource gain from natural resources in all the difficulties.
Reputation Changes:
New:
Town Prosperity - The Current Lose Condition has been replaced by this feature. In addition to Reputation, Prosperity plays a major role in the success of your town. Losing your Prosperity could lead to game over.
There are 3 stages of Prosperity to look out for:
Good - By keeping a Positive Balance & good King's Approval, Your Town is safe and thriving
At Risk - Your actions have caught the attention of the king and a negative balance could lead to Bad Prosperity.
Bad - At this stage, you are given until midnight to improve your current balance or you will lose the game. (The Game Over screen has been left unchanged. This means you can continue your playthrough but Platform specific achievements will no longer be unlocked.)
*We will continue to expand on this feature as we implement new systems into the game.
Changes:
Reputation Penality during evaluation, for going into Negative Balance, has been reduced to a third of its current value to a max of -20 Reputation points.
Refusing a King's Request will have its reputation & prosperity effects take place immediately and will set your town into "At Risk" Prosperity. These effects will last 1-4 days.
Having a Negative evaluated balance will put your town into "At Risk" Prosperity, this can be amended by having a positive balance by your next evaluation.
Reputation ToolTip:
The Reputation Breakdown Tooltip has been reworked to include your current Reputation (Deserted, Barren, etc....) and your prosperity. It will now also appear when hovering over your Reputation Stars.
The Current Fame Tooltip Has been Removed & Replaced by the Reputation Breakdown.
Increased the Size of the Reputation Breakdown UI for better readability.
Crafting Changes:
New:
The Quest Crafting Menu has been improved to show the available Tier rewards for each objective, along with tooltips to explain the new dynamic.
A New Potion has been added to the Apothecary - Greater Potion of Vigor is a Tier 4 Potion that will improve the Hero's Morale by 35% when taken.
A New Filter has been added to the Tailor's "Extras" inventory to filter between Backpacks & Capes in the same fashion items are filtered for the other shops.

This model is unique in that it was not drawn by a 3D artist, but by a level designer who is not particularly strong in this. The reason for this is the absence, at the moment, of work from a level designer and a large load from a 3D artist.
But first, a little history. Where did the image of such a hut come from? In ancient times, the Slavs made log cabins in the forest by placing them on stumps with chopped roots to protect the tree from rotting — they were carefully scalded and fumigated with acrid smoke. This procedure allowed to expel insects and protect the wood from decomposition. Gradually, the meaning of the word was forgotten, it became unclear why the legs were chicken. Such houses were used not only for living, but also as a warehouse or tombs. It was the latter application that gave rise to the mystical image in modern folklore. A house on a chicken leg is the border of the world of the living and the dead.
The first screenshot was made quite late, when the pipe and the base were already there. Of interest here is the texture of the pipe. Unlike the hut itself, its material was drawn from scratch in a blender. Using a grid and color generation. After that, dirt and a boarded-up window were added. After all, according to folklore, the hut "stands without windows, without doors" Next, the texture of the hut was correctly configured through UV scanning. And the final touch is chicken legs. It remained to transfer the model to Unreal engeen 5, but then problems began. The model was divided into component parts, and almost all materials were not loaded. After several unsuccessful ones, I had to turn to a 3D artist. He was able to solve the problem, but the texture of the dirt suffered changes. In the next part, we will talk about creating a scene using a hut.
