The Witch of Fern Island - keking26
Hello everyone!

We are proud to announce that The Witch of Fern Island is now being published by Freedom Games. For those of you who may not know, a game publisher can take care of a lot of the business and marketing side of releasing a game. That includes managing our store pages, marketing and advertising the game, helping showcase the game at both digital and live events, PR, and a lot more. Really it lets us totally focus on working to make the game the best it can be, and provides us with the resources to do so.

On this occasion, a word from our Game Director, Patryk Pietraszkiewicz:

“We want people playing The Witch of the Fern Island to enjoy the progress resulting from the slow paced, yet satisfying gameplay.
Our game can be classified as a “cozy game” but we wanted it to become something more. The magical world of Fern Island is palpable in both gameplay and story levels. It allows us to present people's stories from a more personal, deeper perspective.
Our vision for this game can now be fully realized, so look forward to The Witch of Fern Island being the best it could be!”

Thank you all for your support so far from our Kickstarter, to now and beyond. We wouldn’t have made it this far without it. And if this is your first time finding us, welcome! Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and join our Discord to join our amazing community as well.

Best Regards,

Enjoy Studio Team

•Added Traditional Chinese language.
•Added new rank patch system on uniforms.
•Added new battery stand prop in Map Editor.
It's now possible to have up to 20 Players in the same faction when playing PvE.

•Improved collisions in trenches and tunnels.
•Fixes in inventory when using a controller.
•Increased injured time.
•Various other fixes from feedbacks reported on Discord.

Here's an example clip of the work in progress animation rework we are making.

We usually shows clips like this on our Discord server, but we wanted to show something also here, so plase let us know what you think about it. Further discussion about this will be handled on the Discord server tho.
In general the Animation rework is expected to be completed by hald of this year, but we hope to be able to include some new animations in the game much earlier.

Thank you all, and I wish you an happy new year.
Marco.

Spirittea - TinyPixxels

Hey there everyone! Happy 2023 from all of us at No More Robots and Cheesemaster Games - we're excited to make this the year of Spirittea!

To kick off the brand new year, I figured I'd share some progress of one of the biggest changes to the game that it's had since the very beginning. I touched on in a text update last year - I'm excited to show you it in action.

If you've played our lovely demo, you will have met granny Miko. We love this introduction to the town, but it didn't explain very much about the game, nor how to get around town very effectively. To help, we added a first day to help you get to grips with the town and your new neighbours - calling in our other granny, Amelia!

Amelia will teach you a little about furniture and food, but most excitingly give you a map and brochure, showcasing a whole wealth of activities to get stuck into across town! We also have roped in the lovely Jan to help you track down anyone you haven't met yet, as this adds them to your map so you can find them whenever you need! Thanks Jan! The keen eyed among you will also notice that Jan and Maru got some visual upgrades, and of course that very important pet button!

We're hoping this extra time to explore your surroundings and get a feel for the people, the town and the spoooky goings on will help you get to grips with your new mountain home, and inspire lots of adventures! There's plenty to get stuck into in every season - we can't wait to see which one ends up being your favourite! The seasons influence what you can find, what you can do and of course our spirit friends - but we'll talk about that in a later update!

For now, we're much happier with the way the beginning of the game flows, and we hope you end up loving our quirky band of characters as much as we do!

I'll see you next week for another update, where I can showcase my absolute favourite new feature - I've been waiting for it for a while, and finally I can make my bathing spirits happier than ever! I'll see you there!

SCP: Secret Laboratory - xEnded
Hello everyone. Today we bring you a small update to round off the holiday season.

This year, SCP: Secret Laboratory’s holiday update was larger than anything we’ve previously done in previous years. We want to give you as much time with the limited content as possible, and, as a result, this update brings some minor needed tweaks and fixes to the holiday version of the game.

SCP-2536 Changes
  • Adjusted SCP-2536’s overall loot table.
  • Introduced a new anomalous item — The Jailbird. The Jailbird is a special melee weapon that can be rarely granted by SCP-2536.
  • Opening a present gifted by SCP-2536 will cause a small cooldown, preventing one player from claiming all the gifts nearly instantly.
  • SCP-2536 will no longer attempt to spawn for the Chaos Insurgency. Insurgents are still able to open gifts.
  • SCP-2536 can only give one ‘Last Stand’ gift per round. Expect significantly less Logicers.
  • Added a SCP-2536 spawn point inside of SCP-096’s containment chamber.
  • SCP-2536’s gift will now have a disintegration effect whenever it appears and disappears.
  • SCP-2536’s spawning mechanics will now loop if valid targets cannot be found.
  • Improved how SCP-2536’s audio works.
  • Adjusted SCP-2536 visuals. SCP-2536 should no longer disappear when looking at it from a far distance.

Other Changes and Fixes
  • Added Operational Guide entries for all of the new SCPs.
  • SCP-956 will now target players affected by SCP-559 significantly faster.
  • Introduced poppable balloons scattered around the Facility.
  • You are now able to drink from the various mugs around the Facility.
  • Rebalanced SCP-106.
    - Hunter's Atlas now applies sinkhole cooldown.
    - SCP-106 Vigor regeneration pauses during sinkhole cooldown.
    - Vigor will no longer regenerate if SCP-106 remains stationary.
  • Reimplemented third-person animations for the Coin.
  • SCP-018’s logo now faces the player when held.
  • Increased SCP-1576 playback volume.
  • Changed the fog color.
  • SCP-173’s blink indicator now uses the snowy model.
  • Fixed volumetric lighting on the Surface Zone.
  • Updated the Reddit link in the main menu.
  • Various Remote Admin improvements, including a new Token System window and improved forceclass-related commands.

Conclusion
We hope that you all enjoyed the special update this year. Thank you all for your warm reception and continued support.

Have fun, and see you in the dark.

Coloring Pixels - ToastieLabs_Lee
1 Week to go!
That's right, WooLoop is right around the corner! We are so excited about the release and hope you are too.

Officially releasing next Friday, the 13th of January - A Spooky date for sure with all the nerves we are feeling! Make sure you head over to the store page now to Wishlist the game before release to get notified as soon as you can play.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1878910/WooLoop/

WooLoop is Free so you can add it to your Steam Library at no cost. With other 100 levels to play and unwind to, you can play for hours and hours.

What's left to do?
3 main things are in progress for release.

Levels:
We still have about 1 Gallery's worth of levels to complete for next week; this may seem like a lot which is why we have hired some extra help for the next couple of months! If you are in our Discord you will have seen a "Toastie_Icy" who is our new Level Designer helping Rob make the final levels for WooLoop.

Bug Fixing and QA Testing:
Each new level needs playing to ensure there are no problems with the level before launch. As well as this, there are still a few minor bugs that are being corrected; each one needs double-checking and thorough testing.

Marketing:
As a small indie company, we have little to no marketing budget, so all marketing is done in-house. This week we went full throttle on our media outreach, contacting numerous press sites, bloggers, content creators and reviewers. This is the majority of the work done but it will need constant monitoring and input from us up to release.

Keep an eye out on your social media, YouTube and Twitch to see people with early access play our game before Friday!

The Game Release
And this is pretty much it! Very exciting times here at ToastieLabs, we are busy and working hard to make sure the game is perfect for release. Join us in Discord and watch gameplay online as we all get ready for launch day next Friday.

Wishlist now and let us know your experiences when you get to play too!

Thank you for your support and we can't wait to see you Looping that Wool!
