Yo! It's me, back at it again with a new update on TSFACP! Also, merry Christmas and happy new year! December is always the month where a lot of things happen and I hope everyone reading this had a good time with family. :)

Now, the game. Not much has actually happened with the game development and honestly, I do wish I could show you some flashy new scene or something but nope, there really hasn't been anything special that has been added. It has unfortunately been a busy month so I have not been able to do everything I wanted to.

Anyways, what has been done? So, I've been hard at work with bug fixes, general performance issues, testing new concepts within game development (this also ties in with performance issues since many of my developer techniques are quite frankly outdated), and much more. Basically: behind the scenes stuff that most people don't give two craps about. I've installed Firefly which is the 3D engine for Clickteam, it's extremely basic and doesn't really allow me to do much of anything but I have actually tested it out and tried implementing it into TSFACP, with no luck thus far, except maybe getting a 3D model in here and there.

But what else? That can't have been everything right? And you're absolutely right, it isn't everything! I have experimented a lot with other things that don't actually relate to TSFACP directly but are fascinating. I have made an engine that can scan an 8x8 grid of tiles which also has the tileset included and the tileset automatically gets shifted and looks correct! I've also experimented a bit with arrays, and basic saving/loading functions which allow me to draw anything I want in an 8x8 grid and save it, where I can load it and it will look exactly the same!

What does this actually mean though? And why is it relevant to TSFACP? Well my friends...uh, it's not. Or more accurately, it's not relevant to TSFACP yet. I was simply thinking of making a basic level editor in TSFACP for when you complete the game since those are actually very easy to create (no seriously, they are!) And I could use those two things I learned and actually make a half-decent level editor in which people can actually save their levels in files and share them around with other people. The sharing part is the only really complicated part of making something like this though, and that's why I'm still not very sure that this will ever become a reality. I am counting on it though, so if you want to see something like this in the future, lemme know! :)

That was basically it, I'll try working a bit more on TSFACP in the coming weeks and I'll make an update if I need to. See ya later!

Today's update is a quick fix to resolve a bug that sometimes caused the player to be thrown into the air. This would usually occur when running over an object set low in the ground. The character should now just step over the object.

This build also turns off the holiday content. Note anything you have crafted or placed will remain available to you.

The first DEMO version had a lot of balance errors that caused the numbers to inflate severely, this time many values have been corrected.

Bug fixes

1.Wrong display of backpack tab.
2.Some sound effects in the game cannot be adjusted from the settings.
3.Monsters in special rooms cannot draw blood.
4.Battle scenes with bosses, players can attack in advance.
5.The text of the blood-sucking and soul essence altar in Simplified Chinese is wrong and cannot be run.
6.The value of the reward given by the blood-sucking altar is wrong.
7.When the type of props are full, the good feeling props are given.
8.Relic fragment disappeared.
9.Character standing on the edge of the map can not shoot bullets.

11.Reading the panel value of the archive is wrong.

Optimization

1.Added system prompt text at the bottom of the interface.

5.Fixed grammar and vocabulary errors in all languages.

Numerical adjustments

1.Change the maximum number of life elixirs to 10, and adjust the value for each level.
2.Topaz The maximum number of topazes has been changed to 15, and the value of each level increase has been adjusted.
3.Charlotte Adjusted the value of the burst rate given after each level of affinity.

First of all we hope you had a Merry Cristmas and you have slipped well into the new year.

We started 2023 working on the finishing of our promised nice surprise: “SANTA TOWN” is here and it's for FREE.

This map is a first gameplay step to "TYA Remaster" since we are going to update SANTA TOWN with a little mission as soon as our quality assurance tell that the prepared fun will work - so updates are to come. All of those who asked us to put some additional mission in the game will in this way get what they wanted. We hope you all will enjoy the plus - it's great!





The second piece of good news is - after a long time and undying hope - we are internally free with the
trading cards and are happy to announce that the artwork has already been uploaded to Steam for final release - so it's out of our hands to have the community items available to everyone who owns the game - but they should be up and running in a few days.
