We've been tirelessly working for the past few months to release patch 1.1.0, our biggest update yet.
There are tons of new features that are mentioned in the patch notes such as:
The Introduction of the new Area, with the King of Vengeance as its leader. A new mini bosses and multiple new encounters and what we're also very much excited about, the first Elite enemy of the game: The Dunestalker. A very interesting, tough fight but totally optional for extra rewards.
New and fun cards.
A much more robust tutorial.
The Introduction of a post-defeat Hub where the player will get to choose between multiple different fun perks for the next run. This massively changed the way we are playing the game!
Massive UI improvement.
Enhanced performance and a massive reduction in loading times.
Reskin of a lot of NPC and enemies, and most importantly, reskin of the main characters.
Complete card rework, we made sure to make them look better and much easier to read on smaller monitors.
Support for 2k and 4k resolution.
General bug fixes.
There are also many smaller features that you will probably notice. Our two highest priorities were to stick to our roadmap that we have previously established and to answer a lot of player feedback and concerns.
We will keep on working to always make the game better and your feedback was our number one motivator!
The next step would be to keep following the roadmap and post regular rolling updates.
0.858 -> 0.859 - Screen space reflections deprecated. (high performance cost, for little visual improvement) - Changed trade volume effect on resource demand. This should make prices less affected by large trade volumes, especially in large cities. - Rewired controller customization asset updated. This could possibly address issues with control customization. - Upper class 3x3 third density residential buildings added.
I've removed the screen space reflections option, as it is both costly in terms of performance, but offers little in the way of visual fidelity. It was also not functional on all OS:es.
I've updated the rewired controller mapper to ensure it is up to date and bug free.
The last remaining 3x3 buildings have been added in. This is the third density upper class buildings.

To round out the end of 2022, we've decided to get a small hotfix out with some client side improvements. We've taken a small break from the balance changes for the fall, but we will be resuming that later in January.

User Experience Improvements
Added a display popup that shows what spell, relic, champion, or equipment the opponent has played. This can be turned off in the Options menu if so desired
Added an option to disable controller button icons even when a controller is connected. The current behavior of the icons appearing when a controller is attached is now referred to as "Automatic" and is the default for the "Show Gamepad UI" option
Added some more flair to the login screen
In-Game Text
Fixed a number of missing messages that would appear as things like "ability.stone_barrage.activate" in the combat log. Please report these as you see them in the #bugs channel of the discord.
Updated various text to reflect changes made in recent updates

Fixed an issue where Ice Storm was causing performance issues
Fixed an issue where Arctic Trap was causing performance issues
Added more high quality art for Runes and Avatars.
Balance Changes
Corrected some missing items from previous patches:
Invoke: Intercedence now grants 1 stack of Wind Shield when triggered or activated
Mirror Blade now only creates 1 illusion rather than 2

Added another difficulty level for all areas.
New Storylines to enjoy with new NPCs with their own unique cards added.
A new mini-boss and multiple new enemy encounters with extremely different mechanics and playstyles.
New: Elite enemy: The Dunestalker. A very powerful but optional enemy for extra rewards!
Introducing the Genesis hub. After defeat, the player will now be transported to the Eternal Sands, where the Genesis resides. Before each run, the player can now choose between 4 powerful different perks. The player will now be able to either use a blessing from the previous run, a card from the previous run, a Genesis specific blessing or to transform part of the default deck into different spells!
Added in depth character specific tutorials.
Bug fixes:
Fixed a bug where cards with the Banish property in the Forbidden Realm would go to the Banish Pile instead of the Discard Pile if used instead.
Fixed a bug where using Summon Illusion on Memories of Life would only use Ensnare on one target instead of all enemies.

Leper and Seer full reskin. Enjoy the new look of the Revenants!
Wish Jinn full reskin.
Reskin and overall graphical enhancement of multiple enemies and NPCs.
Updated the looks and textures of the card frames.
Multiple new environments.
Replaced the Main Menu background

Hotkeys will now be available to use during battles.

CPU and GPU performance enhancement for lower end PCs.

This patch should cover a few major bugs and crashes, as well as take care of some smaller issues that were easy enough to tackle:
Various audio bugs fixed
M24 sniper rifle: implemented reload sounds and updated suppressed and unsuppressed sounds
Screen-Space Global Illumination (SSGI) turned off for "Low" and "Medium" post-process settings
Loadout apocalypse: all loadouts kit version numbers increased, so all old loadouts will no longer be visible or loadable in V1033. This will hopefully fix some kit-related crashes and issues with cloud saves; more fixing to come!
Full Beard applied after Balaclava is equipped will no longer keep displaying beard in Customize Operator screen
NVG Head Mount can now be customized properly (can attach GPNVG-18, Headset etc.)
German localization will no longer be displayed (was just a test thing that stuck around)
Callsigns can now include hyphens (-)
Callsign swear filter updated a little
Updated patch categories/folders to Country, Blood Type, Role and Morale
Patch selection dialog no longer displays duplicate category names for modded patches
Overly bright plant in Compound map fixed
Incorrect display name for PMM pistol magazine changed (already had 12 rounds, but said 8)
