Hello! This is TEAM HORAY.

It seems like it's the first time we've written a post that isn't a patch note.

First of all, we would like to say thank you for your interest in our team and Dungreed for a long time.

To celebrate the coming of the new year, We want to share some of our work.




A New Game (Under Development)

From the beginning of 2021 to the present, we are developing a new game.

The game's name is Sephiria. It's a top-down view action roguelite set in a ruined world and tells the story of animals living in it. We are developing hard to make the game fun.

This is previews of the game in development.





To add a bit more explanation, This is an inventory in Sephiria. "Charms" and "Stont Tablets" are main items in the game. Placing a stone tablet near a charm will strengthen a charm. To get more stronger, you need to handle your inventory well.



So far, We are not sure if the game is fun or well made... :O
But we think if we keep developing and researching hard, we'll definitely find a good answer!

A release date has not been set yet. We'll share more the development status of the game through the community in the future. Please look forward to it!




Dungreed Mobile


The mobile version of Dungreed is coming to iOS and Android!

The porting of the mobile version has been going on slowly for a really long time, and we are very happy to finally show you.

The mobile version of Dungreed will be released in early January 2023. (Soon!)

It is sold as a paid app and includes the same content as the PC version of Dungreed. Enjoy Dungreed with touch controls designed for the mobile environment. (Controllers are also supported)




New Contents update for Dungreed

We are always looking at your feedbacks. Thank you all!
We'll tell you about the update of new contents. We plan to add a new biome, add items, new systems, and improve some old systems. But we are currently concentrating on developing new games, so until now it's nothing to show you yet.

The updates will be developed in parallel with the new game so it has not been decided when the update will be uploaded. Details related to the new update will be shared again later. :)

Hello everyone, unfortunately because of all the things happening during Christams time, I couldn't publish this update here like i have already done on the Facebook page, so here we are :D

Some update on what I'm working on.

From last update I told you I was working on a new system called Cataclysms, a dynamic power which gets stronger the more Weapon Forge the Tyrant accumulates. The system will be released along with the final 4 Tyrants and this is exactly what I'm working on.

A single Tyrant comes with 1 icon 3 Rage Spells, 1 Cataclysm with different effects (common and peculiar ones), 9 different Disciples and 11 spells for them; doing some maths this means:
- 12 rage spells,
- at least 8 to 12 cataclysm effects,
- 4 new icons (which I need to put together),
- 36 Disciples,
- 44 new Disciple spells (with their appearence).

A pretty huge amount of things to be done ahahahaha.

Up to now I have done all the icons, all the rage spells, all the cataclysms effects and started to do 4 disciples spells out of 44, to give you something, here following I will show you the new Tyrants icons and the name of the new Tyrants along with their "Field of influence":
- Magnus: Magic
- Suli'Vox: Power
- Drholl: Discipline
- Tolden: Matter

  • New Motion Presets



    Find them under
    Menu > Settings > Motion/Camera > Choose Preset

    The default (on first install of the game), and developer preferred preset is the Wild option.

    However, feedback from some players suggests the physics / camera motion can be a little taxing on the stomach... so for those players it is suggested to try the Balanced preset first, and then if that is still too lively, try the Stable option.

    The settings can be customized (overrides the presets) via
    Menu > Settings > Motion/Camera > Customize

    (And this remains the place to adjust the camera FOV)

  • New Motion (physics) setting for 'Slidey robots'



    The new BRK ('brake') slider enables you to reduce the 'slidey robot' behaviour. We'd prefer you to try to adapt your brain to the slidey motion, since it comprises much of the 'feel' of being the different robots - but if the motion is doing your head / stomach in... you can now reduce or eliminate it entirely by adjusting your BRK.

    The BRK setting is auto-adjusted as you switch between the motion presets (see above).

  • Controller Improvement: Movement input is now applied analog-ly (so bots can now move at less than their max speed)
  • Controller change: Grab rotate / upright DPAD controls changed to more intuitive L/R for rotate Left/Right, and DPAD UP for upright).
  • Fix: Done some things to reduce (hopefully eliminate) the chance of players going out-of-bounds at the prelude location.

Into the TIMEVERSE - Imperial Dynamics
Major update is now live.
The game is now easier . We fixed the time interval to the random colour changes so now you don't need to have godly reflexes ;)
Be warned the game is still very challenging but now is 100% fair.
We fixed some minor bugs, and some performance issues to some low spec pc's.
We also fixed some bugs in the 3 infinite modes and the time intervals to the random colour changes.

Clothes and decorations like: changing the van and packages color, fireworks, all the environment decorations and CLOTHES FOR ANIMALS etc. DISAPPEAR after the event, so get the best out of them while they are here!🤗

The event starts 29.12 and ends 05.01. Additional items in Animal Shelter will be available for purchase in-game from 29.12 to 05.01 Thursday 6PM CET after which they disappear and will no longer be available for purchase.

MonCon - MegalithicMainframe
Well, here we are at the end of 2022! It's hard to believe I've been working on MonCon on and off for close to five years now. This past year has definitely seen the most amount of steady progress on the game.

I have some cool new content to share, but before we get too far down into the weeds, I'll let you guys in on this newsletter's big announcement:

MonCon will be coming out by the end of 2023!

I've finished enough this year that I feel safe drawing this line in the sand. 2023 will still be a tight race to the finish line, but I think that this deadline strikes a good balance between getting the game out in a reasonable amount of time so that I can move on to other projects, and not compromising on the game's overall quality.

So by hook or by crook, come hell or high water, the full version of MonCon will be in your hands by this time next year.

Now, let's consult the progress chart and see where things are at:



As you can see, the game's side-quests are mostly done! Right now, I'm working with a secondary writer for the rest of the side-quest content. My goal in doing this is to really cement that eclectic "melting pot" vibe that you get when attending a convention, and bringing in a second writing voice should really help with that. But working with outside help means that a fraction of the game's cutscenes and quests are still cooking in the pipeline.

Meanwhile, MonCon's arcade minigames are also coming along nicely. I've settled on a grand total of eleven minigames for the final game. Seven of those are complete, but the remaining four should have a fairly short development cycle, as they'll mostly be reskins / tweaks / advanced versions of the existing minigames.

Here's a peek at one of the brand-new minigames I just put the finishing touches on:



I've also begun working on brand new monsters you'll have to conversation-battle in the later chapters of the game. There are a lot of new monster designs that I can't wait for you all to see! Here's a few that you'll have to converse with in Chapter 3...





Last but not least, I wanted to give everyone a convention-related update. As per our usual tradition, we will be attending CSGC in Tulsa, Oklahoma in April. This time around, we will have a brand-new build of MonCon that will be feature-complete up to the end of Chapter 3, AKA the first 40% or so of the game. This goes far beyond any public demo of MonCon I've ever shown at previous conventions. If you're in the area, you'll definitely want to drop by to check out all the new game content.
