The "Steam Winter Sale" is open today, December 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to January 5, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The sale also includes "The Forest of Drizzling Rain," which was released this past November and is now available for 20% off.
The Forest of Drizzling Rain is a multi-ed horror game released in 2013. Before its 10th anniversary next year, the fan-anticipated remake is now available on Steam.
The remake has a lot to offer! In a past Steam News article, we mentioned fishing, stamp rally, and bookmark collecting, but the remake also has a system that allows the scenario to diverge depending on the player's actions. In addition, multiple endings are provided.
Once you have viewed all of them, "Rain Rises" will appear on the title screen and a special scenario will be unlocked.
Take advantage of this great deal and have plenty of fun!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2106810/ 『The Forest of Drizzling Rain』 ■Developer: Makoto Sanada ■Publisher: Game Magazine ■Price: 1680 yen (Japanese price) ■Languages supported: Japanese ※The release dates for English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean will be announced at a later date.
Ball physics were a little bit of. By adjusting the drag and friction, the player ball is now moving much smoother and doesn't have the break effect. It still feels a little bit like "on honey", but this is intended so that the ball doesn't roll all over the place and takes too much time to stop moving.
2. Wall Bouncyness
The wall bouncyness has been increased. Also some walls didn't had the correct physical material. This has been fixed.
3. Charge Sound FX
The charge sound FX of the ball was way too loud. The volume of this FX has been decreased.
4. Buggy Bridge
The hitboxes of the bridge object in the third adventure map (Camp) has been recreated. Now it is much easier and predictable to shoot the ball over the bridge.
5. Input Devices
In the start game menu (the very first menu of the game) you are now able to connect new input devices without restarting the game.
Speacial Thanks
Special thanks to Lazydog and Mechanoid for giving me a lot of feedback. Thank you also for improving the ball phyisics and for testing it. You're awesome!
• Asset rotation is now preserved whenever in the asset rotation mode.
Fixes:
• Fixed a bug that would block camera movement when dragging an item from the library into the scene. • Fixed a bug that would apply unintended rotations to assets while they are being rotated using the scroll wheel command in the item spawn mode. • Fixed a bug that would apply an unintended scale to assets while they are being scaled using the scroll wheel + Ctlr command in the item spawn mode. • Fixed WASD camera movement from triggering while the left Ctrl key is pressed, so that it doesn’t interfere with “Select All” or “Duplicate” commands.

We finally have a new version of Sneak In, and I'm excited to announce it! Well, today we're going to talk about the key changes as well as what's coming up for you in the next few months!
What is new?
Almost everything has changed since then. It progresses from the cannon that launches the marbles to the snake at the level's end, through all of the marbles, and finally, all of the levels have been redesigned. The main menu and the world map are the only things that haven't changed. Even so, both have been modified. For example, the world map has a cleaner path and more evenly distributed leaves.
Concerning the gameplay, it is required to earn a certain number of points to clear a level, and you will be awarded a badge according to the time it took you to complete the level. The faster you finish it, the better the medal.
Some stages feature one or more marble tracks. There are also moving walls and other juicy effects.
Upcoming updates?
As you may have noticed, Sneak In doesn't have as many levels as before. However, the 60 levels of the game look better and feel more balanced. Over time, I plan to add new levels until it reaches 250 levels. Thus upcoming updates are going to contain both patches and more content as well.
Please feel free to share your suggestions with me on Steam, or come and talk about them on the studio's Discord server.
