We are pleased to announce the Steam Winter Sale 2022 with Post Scriptum participating in the sale 65% discounted, with a Free Weekend running from January 5th - January 9th.

Now is also a good time for us to give everyone a heads-up that Periscope Games will be closed and away for the holidays from December 23rd - January 4th where we will return ready to take on 2023.

Our initial plan was to have our Quality of Life update that was planned on the roadmap out by the end of the year, due to some constraints we haven't been able to carry out this update and will instead commit to this update during 2023.

Hello everyone!

Right before Christmas I have a little present for you: Lunistice ver. 1.05 is out now! 🎄🎁
This update focuses mostly on adding a better camera system and some rebalancing, especially for Toree's levels.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank you so so much for your support! The release of Lunistice is now a little over a month ago and the amount of support and feedback I got (and am still getting) is nothing short of amazing! 💖

I always said that my main goal for Lunistice was to just have a bunch of people have a good and chill time for a little while in these truly stressful times. And I'm incredibly humbled that my little game seemed to do just that for... a lot more than a "bunch" of people.

I can't wait to show you all what I've got in store for the next project! • Added "Smooth Camera" option to the Camera menu. This will smooth out horizontal camera movement overall, which should (hopefully) lead to a much more controllable character and reduced motion sickness for many people. This option is active by default on fresh save files only and can be deactivated at any time to restore the camera to its old behaviour
  
• Added UI elements for tracking your progress in Stage 5-2

• Overhauled camera snapping (left trigger button). Instead of using Hana's view direction for recentering it'll now take player input into account (when moving). This means that the camera should now snap to where you want to go, not where the character's currently looking at
  
• Removed a bunch of enemies from Toree's levels. Mind you, Toree is still considered the de facto "hard-mode" of the game and you will have to do some "weird" jumps, but most if not all of the really unfair enemies should be gone now
  
• Rebalanced final section of Stage 2-1
  
• Very slight rebalancing of Stage 2-2
  
• Rebalanced Stage 4-2. Again
  
• Very slight rebalancing of Stage 5-2
  
• Made hitboxes on rolling pin stage hazards much more lenient

• Fixed being able to easily bypass a certain part of Stage 7-2
  
• Fixed weird collision on the final parts of Stage 6-1 where you could lose your double jump easily

Or should we say "Hi witches” as many of you have already dived into BLACKTAIL’s world ;)

A huge thanks for your ongoing support, sending feedback and writing reviews.
BLACKTAIL is trending on Steam which is solely due to you - we couldn’t ask for a more committed community.

• The first HOTFIX is now live on Steam.
  We have addressed certain concerns and issues which were possible to implement at this point in time.
  
• We’ve also prepared the Witchcraft Starter Kit down below. We wouldn’t want you to be an easy target in BLACKTAIL’s woods.

HOTFIX notes:

1. Various bug fixes, crashes and potential blockers.
   
2. Yaga's starting Vitality has been increased.
   
3. Additional tutorial reminders for the controls and movement.
   
4. New Game+ tweaks. You now get bonus resources - teeth and shelloks - and carry over your Map, Collectibles, and Almanac entries.
   
5. Hostile Mushrooms have been balanced.
   
6. Visual adjustments have been made to enhance visibility to certain areas.
   
7. Sticky crosshair range increased.
   
8. HDR issues fixed.

The first skill you get is a crucial one. Dashing - Mouse button 3 or 5 (RB) - at just the right moment should keep you from harm, provided your timing is on point. It’s also the best way to enhance your traversal.

Press [F] (R3) to use Deflect Hokus for pushing back enemies and breaking obstacles. Hold [F] (R3) to perform a Sunlight/Leech Hokus - linked to your current moral stance.

The Broom not only acts as a decoy by luring enemies, but it also grows ever more powerful the more defined Yaga’s character becomes. Comes in handy also during boss fights. Press [Q] (Y) once you have this ability.

By combining the power of The Gauntlet with her marksmanship prowess, Yaga can perform maneuvers far beyond any ordinary hunter’s array. Hold LMB (RT) and then press [F] (R3) to perform the Special treat.

Use Shrines often, there is also an auto-save system to keep your progress in crucial moments.

Berries have healing properties and grow in various places, including boss areas.

Don’t hesitate to use Cataportation and return to The Hut. Brew Elixirs, unlock new Skills, and activate your Hexes. Take a stroll through the yard, make it a home for your Toads. Get into power and ease yourself into this big adventure!

There’s plenty to explore in BLACKTAIL. Roam the world and keep your eyes wide open. Hold [R] (B) to hide the bow and move faster. Use the Map and Compass, switch between the main quest and side quests in your Journal - look for Resources and Lost Pages.

You can change the difficulty level during your journey. The initial choice is not definitive, adjust it to your preferences on the fly. Remember to have fun :)

4 types of happy endings
Depending on the player's choices, the scenario and the stills that can be obtained will change. Also, by fulfilling certain conditions, players can branch off into four different happy endings.

The endings reveal new aspects of the characters, so players are encouraged to play the game over and over again to complete all the endings.

A new system being piloted in a near-future prison will revolutionize the relationship between guards and prisoners.
The new system, which is being tested in a prison in the near future, will completely change the relationship between guards and prisoners.

“It is the proof of the absolute existence of the prison guard.”
Chips implanted in every person in the prison “link” them through physical contact with each other, allowing the guards to monitor the prisoners 24 hours a day.

This was supposed to create an overwhelming hierarchical relationship between guards and prisoners, but…
