The 8 Sins: New Hell Order - Piotr Sowa Omegan's Domain
Today without the update.
Last time I was mentioning about working on a new colour palette for the game, colours are divided into two groups: - cold for dominant races: sloth, envy, pride and acedia; - dark and warm for destructive races: wrath, gluttony, lust and greed.
But this is quite time-consuming and going to work on that in the background: Current look:
New colours:
Also, some concepts for the incoming major update: Guilds are the place where players can unlock new units from their current classes and upgrade for them but that requires expanding the structure, because the main class in gluttony is brutes, brute's guild can be expanded to 3rd level like units upgrades.
As you may know, the project now is on a final phase where some details are being polished and where we are progressing energetically specially with the Original Soundtrack composed exclusively for the game. Today we would like to speak about that Soundtrack that currently it is being created and composed by the amazing RobFeb from Keep The Focus. The creation of the music for Kingdoms of Myth has been an incredible challenge, as you know, Kingdoms of Myth depicts 100 different factions. Factions belonging to all the continents and from different eras. Every region has its own dedicated music track on the game, therefore you can imagine how big and diverse will be the music.
Here you can see an small showcase of the music created by RobFeb for the game:
As you know, the game as well contains an amazing contribution in terms of illustrations. In the previous Showcase music video you can see the art corresponding to the following artists:
• Some pyrotechnic lights could be picked up an unlimited number of times. Fixed. • Some elements of the environment in the basement and on the second floor were moved, so that the direction to the player's goals was more intuitive. • Enemy navigation in the final part of the game has been improved. • Now, you cannot close the door if the enemy is already in the doorway. • Light optimization was improved. • Street optimization was improved. • Incorrect formatting of item descriptions in Chinese translation was fixed. • Different improvements to the German, Portuguese, Turkish and French translations were added.
Thanks to everyone who sends us emails and leaves messages!
We don't believe it ourselves, but the calendar doesn't lie - Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos celebrates its first anniversary today! Since exact one year, you have been traveling with Marvin around the island of Archolos, experiencing all sorts of adventures and shaping the fate of the island.
Our adventure with Chronicles has been going on for a good couple of years, but despite the fact that the game has already been released, we still stick together as a team and friends, regularly talking to each other, exchanging memes or playing our favorite games together. But most of all, we're still working on more patches, including Update 2.0 and the Hardcore edition - more on that only next year.
We have learned over the years that game development is not a race. It's a dangerous and unpredictable expedition that requires not only the right equipment or skills, but most importantly a trusted team...
That's why we also want to thank you, the Gothic and Chronicles of Myrtana community. Since the day of release, you have flooded us with positive feedback, thanks, brilliant theories and comical memes. According to one of them: "...or maybe, in fact, Chronicles of Myrtana is about the friends we made along the way?
EventLab creators, we’ve added a new EventLab build stub to the Horizon Stadium. This feature allows you to create Blueprints using the arena itself as a spawn point, so you no longer need to find the closest route. Simply drive towards the Horizon Stadium and look out for the build stub to get started.
