Hey Sanctuary crew! Today we’re going to take a deeper look at the cast of characters you’ll be joining in the trek through the Untamed Wilds. Buckle in, because we’ve got a lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time (pun intended).

The first stop on our journey is visiting the Sylphelvin Guild. Hailing (like the other elvin cultures) from the Triune Isle, the Sylphelves live more in harmony with nature than the others. This makes them naturally adept to serve as explorers and guides for merchant caravans. This particular guild is led by Syrena. Syrena came to lead the guild at a young age due to her strong aptitudes and confidence. Because of this, she’s a bit of a workaholic though deeply loyal to those she trusts. Will Syrena’s perfectionist tendencies lead to strife within the group or will the others pull her away from all work and help find there’s more to life?

Next stop is over to the Thieves Guild, led by the ever cocky Ethan. Ethan senses strong rewards await the new settlement and has convinced many others with, shall we say, flexible morals to help ensure the caravan’s success. Given his difficult upbringing, Ethan has a cynical view for any given situation but uses his relaxed approach to deliver on his word. So relaxed, the other guild leaders are often left wondering how anything ever gets done but it always seems to. Given everything, many also wonder at Ethan’s true intentions for motivating an entire wing of the Thieves Guild into such a dangerous venture.

As we continue our tour, next we’re checking in with the Dwarrodwarf clan. Led by one of the youngest kings from the dwarven holds, Dolgrim is proud of his clan and has great ambitions for their place in the pages of dwarven history. Rarely one to sit back and let others do the work, he is often seen leading from the frontlines. Despite his insistence on keeping others from harm, he is also stubborn and takes a direct approach to social resolution. Can the others keep his temper in check or will this lead to greater internal strife?

While Syrena provides the direction on the caravan’s journey, those responsible for actually bringing these disparate guilds together is a group of Celestial Missionaries led by Marie. With a just mind, Marie heard how mistreated her friends, particularly Syrena, were in their homelands and worked with her local temple to secure provisions and support staff to ensure the caravan’s success. Spiritually guided, if not maybe a bit intense, Marie was able to convince all the other guild leaders to form the caravan’s pact. Can she keep everyone driving towards the common goal or will individual ambitions ruin it for everyone?

The next group to visit is the Academic Expedition members. This ragtag group of young mages, crafters, and enchanters are all more or less on the journey for the same reason: Cylus. This young prodigy burst out of his parents’ manor seemingly from nowhere solving magical challenges left and right. Completely ignorant of social norms but with an affable innocence, the other academics can’t wait to see what he’ll uncover next. Adventurous to a fault and lacking a sense of self preservation led to Cylus’ immediate commitment to the caravan. Also leading to an immediate upswing in support from the Academic Expeditionary group. While the magical munitions are welcome, there seems to be a certain abandon in this guild’s approach to security and safety…

The last stop in our trek through the guilds is with the caravan’s Government. Every group must agree to uphold certain standards when committing to this large of a venture so a group of clerks, scholars, and advocates were assigned the task. Responsibility for this group is assigned to Jenivive, a kind-hearted wife and mother with sharp wit, patience as wide as the Wilds itself, and a nurturing nature. Even if she does like to know everyone’s business. Serving as liaison for the Guild Leaders to the Lords’ Council, Jenivive also ensures the Guild Leaders themselves are coordinated in their efforts to guarantee the caravan’s success.

Captain Price, Farah, and Gaz are ready to infiltrate deep behind enemy lines to a hidden submarine dock on the border of Urzikstan and Al Mazrah. Is your trio ready to step in their shoes and take on Atomgrad?

Continuing from the events of the Modern Warfare II Campaign, the first Special Ops Raid is something that will take, in the words of the captain himself, “violence and timing.”

Those who successfully complete this Raid will unlock a familiar face as a brand-new Operator to use in Multiplayer and Special Ops, as well as in Warzone 2.0. It will also unlock a harder difficulty Playlist that will test even veteran Operators. You can expect to find plenty of Intel that awards additional cosmetic items, in addition to some intriguing data it provides about the Modern Warfare II universe.




Accessing a Raid requires a Raid Key, which can be earned through the following method(s):

- Complete a specific Daily Challenge either in Multiplayer or Special Ops.
- Place within the top 20 in any Warzone 2.0 Battle Royale Playlist.
- In DMZ, use the final extract helicopter with at least $30,000 in Cash.

Once a Raid Key is earned, that player — and whatever squadmates they choose to bring in — can access the Raid for a full week.

Although there is only one mandatory requirement for Raid access — the Raid Key — we have a couple of additional tips prior to infiltration:



1. Warm up with Special Ops missions. Get familiar with how agents fight against you, how Special Ops Kits work, and the general strategies for completing a Special Ops run through its shorter missions. Completing them and earning Stars give you some permanent rewards as well, making this practice worth your time.

2. Tier up those Kits. Because Raids are part of Special Ops, it uses the Kit system. Having a high-Tier Kit means accessing those additional passive and active benefits during a Raid, increasing your options for survival and progression through it.




One of the most iconic maps in Call of Duty history is reimagined for Modern Warfare II Multiplayer.

Set on a cargo ship taking on water in a storm-ridden part of the Atlantic Ocean, a new Shipment is ready to bring back the chaos that only an ultracompact map can provide. If you’re thinking about working around and off the map’s boundaries, which was possible in previous versions, then you might find yourself at sea…



Expect this map to be in featured Playlists throughout the rest of Season 01. Whether you are ready to grind out the rest of those Orion Camo challenges or just embrace chaos, prepare for Shipment’s arrival with the Season 01 Reloaded update.




Decorated in the holiday spirit across its main deck, Shipment will receive a temporary festive visual overhaul from December 21, 2022 though the new year to January 4, 2023.

Those on the naughty list won’t have to fret over any mythological creatures during this holiday season; the only threats here are your fellow Operators looking to get Camos that shine brighter than tinsel.

New keys have appeared in Al Mazrah… but where do they lead?

Its location is classified. Its benefactors are unknown. But one thing is for certain about the clandestine biological laboratory codenamed Building 21: only the strongest Operators may survive, let alone access one of the deadliest areas of DMZ. Players will need [REDACTED] to access [REDACTED].

With this great risk comes great reward: high-tier Contraband found throughout the building, especially in safes and special areas that require keycard access. What other secrets await you in this facility?




Following the Modern Warfare FC Support a Team Feature and the release of three limited-time Operator Bundles, Season 01 Reloaded will complete the hat trick of football festivities — or soccer special features — with Warzone Cup.

This limited-time mode brings two teams of three Operators to the Al Easima Field, home of one of the league rivals to Al Mazrah’s football club. Here, they will have special ATVs with a pulse ability to push a massive football into the other team’s goal. Collect and toss Shock Sticks to stall your opponents or boost through enemy vehicles to ram them out of the way!

The first team to score five goals, or the team with the most goals at the end of the five-minute time limit, wins the match.

Play this mode as any Operators, as well as the fearless Neymar Jr, Paul Pogba, or Leo Messi — all of whom are available in their limited-time Operator Bundles in the Store.



For more traditional Battle Royale fans, Season 01 Reloaded also sees the return of Mini Royale.

A tactical, condensed variant of a standard Battle Royale, expect fewer players but more compact safe zones in Al Mazrah right from the drop. Perfect for those looking to drop in and win within minutes, or who want to test their abilities in closer quarters, Mini Royales are planned to be included as part of scheduled Playlist updates.




• Gaz and Klaus are coming to town. Task Force 141’s Gaz and a living legend in Klaus are set to bolster the already-deep Operator roster.
• Make it a silent night. The new Chimera weapon, available during the mid-season, is custom-built for stealth operations.
• Don’t just squad up, group up. New Social Feature allows you to meet fellow community members with similar interests both in and out of game.





Price’s right-hand man, Gaz became legend in 2019 when his valor during an attack on Piccadilly Circus grabbed the attention of the formidable SAS Bravo Team captain. He ultimately joined Price’s elite unit, known as Task Force 141.

During the events of the Modern Warfare II Campaign, Gaz was pivotal in saving CIA officer Kate Laswell from Al Qatala. Now he will join Price, Ghost, and Soap, as well as ally Farah — all of whom make up Red Team 141 — to help SpecGru maintain peace around the world.

How to unlock: Complete the Atomgrad Special Ops Raid to unlock Gaz and his “Convoy” Skin. Also available in Store Bundle with “Aquatic” Skin. Those who complete the Raid and purchase the Bundle will unlock the “Grass Ops” Skin as a bonus reward.




A member of Denmark’s Elite Special Forces, Klaus Fisker can almost be considered a living legend among Operators.

Some say his scotopic vision — his natural night vision — was powerful enough to help him navigate a mile in pitch-black darkness before he was old enough to read. Others witnessed his exceptional training record, leading his peers with unbridled optimism through exercises.

But his legacy was cemented one night on the Urzikstan border, where he carried a wounded comrade 18 miles to the nearest base using the lessons taught by his father . . . and with the help of an unusual amount of chocolate that wounded solder carried with him.

How to unlock: Available in the in-game Store via the Klaus Operator Bundle.


A new Assault Rifle, part of the Bruen Ops Platform, offers Operators a formidable Primary Weapon for stealth engagements.



“With an integrated suppressor and slow, high-energy subsonic .300 BLK rounds, the Chimera is adept at close-quarters combat. Subsonic Ammo hides kill skulls from the enemy team.”

This weapon is built for keeping Operators completely off the grid. Given the lack of visible tracers, hidden skull indicators and suppressed fire, the Chimera is useful against both enemy Operators and agents, the latter of which are less aware and coordinated when it comes to silent attacks.

As the description suggests, the Chimera’s effective range is shorter than most Assault Rifles, making it a more powerful and silent alternative to the faster-firing M13B from the same platform. So long as the Operator behind it can stay on target, the Chimera can be a versatile force in most short- to mid-range engagements, potentially making it a good complement to a rifle or LMG suited for longer ranges in an Overkill Loadout.

How to unlock: Weapon Challenge or via Store Bundle.

Whether you’re wanting to make new friends or find squadmates for DMZ and Special Ops missions, the new Groups social feature, launching as part of this update across both Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, can help make those connections.

Accessible via the Social menu, Groups allows you to find or create communities of fellow Call of Duty players — up to 5,000 in a single Group — based on similar interests. These can range from the following labels:

- Call of Duty–based: Preferences on Call of Duty modes, including Battle Royale, DMZ, and Multiplayer, or player experience, such as “Veterans Only” or “New Player Friendly.”
- Vibe-based: Out-of-game interests, such as Entertainment, Gaming, or Sports.
- Community-based: Defining the tone of the group — such as how they play the game (e.g., competitive play or solely for fun) or when they play (e.g., weekend warriors or active daily).
- Other categories: Defining their Group outside of the game, including if the Group is affiliated with a streamer or is part of a Call of Duty League team.



Groups are also defined by their main language and their privacy settings. These, as well as the above labels, are used to help define Groups within the in-game browser for other players to find them.

Once a Group is made, its members can use its dedicated text channels to converse, look up fellow members, and create parties for squadding up within Modern Warfare II or Warzone 2.0.



Essentially, this new feature can expand your network far beyond a friends list and gives you more options for connections within the greater Call of Duty community. Whether you have a ton of friends and colleagues or are a content team or creator who wants to have an in-game hub for connecting with fans, Groups are another way to get a squad going for that next Modern Warfare II or Warzone 2.0 session.




Warzone 2.0 Combat Records will come online with Season 01 Reloaded. The statistics present in the Warzone 2.0 Combat Record will only be from the activation date forward, and will not include statistics from Season 01 launch through Season 01 Reloaded (November 16 to December 14).

Four events, one weekend in Raleigh — welcome to Call of Duty League Major I.

Major I will be hosted live by the Call of Duty League at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, from December 15 through December 18. The event will be in a Pro-Am format, with qualified Call of Duty Challengers teams battling pros and $500,000 of prizing on the line and CDL Points for the Call of Duty League teams. Challengers teams who don’t make the Pro-Am will still be able to battle in the Open and make a name for themselves.

In addition, the Call of Duty: Mobile 2022 World Championship Finals will be hosted at this major, marking the first-ever in-person Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship Finals.

The best teams from North America, Latin America, Europe, India, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia are scheduled to compete head-to-head for the honor of bringing home the 2022 World Championship trophy and cash prize. The combat experience of Death or Glory is getting a massive upgrade as we are now customizing every UI design to fit each class archetype. Monsters will have large gashes of claws and raging fire then they unleash, dynamically responding to how you play the game.
The card play experience is also enhanced as we have now implemented new sequences that highlight the stunning card art in play. These new changes are sure to create new memories and moments in your journey to Glory!

- You can now equip secondary weapon (double barrel, pistol, melee) on primary weapon slot.

- You will now see 4 attachment slots, with 2 disabled. This is to prepare for the Nightmare/Dead Zone difficulty mode (available in the future) where you will unlock these slots.

- Improved tree fading mechanisms. If you aim at anywhere that's covered by a tree, that tree will also fade, making gunfights in wooded area a little easier.

- Fixed an issue with tire stacks that would make player stuck inside

- To produce makeshift mines from Jackhammer, you must now hold SHIFT and right click the weapon. This is to prevent accidentally create mines when player wants to unload the gun. To unload simply right click the equipped Jackhammer.

- Fixed a bug with knife-throwing Scythes not able to hurt you with the knives.

- Slightly improved the strangling mechanism. Player character will no longer hop forward really far. Instead, both player and the victim will meet at a middle point, hoping to avoid situations where player will get stuck with the surrounding objects.

- Reduced the weight of scrap metal

- Changed the default difficulty in Normal mode to 50% damage instead of 70%

- Fixed an issue with player getting stuck when interacting with a stash in Lake Cheko water treatment plant.

- When activated, the Acoustic Sensor will protect you from Valentin's scream attack.

Super excited to share our brand new game mode as part of v2022.12.8: Hide n Seek! The team has been hard at work building this new mode which brings some heart-racing action alongside our classic social deduction form of Among Us. 



I wont spoil all of the surprises but here’s a few pointers for Hide n Seek:

• If you’re a Crewmate, your goal is to complete tasks to run down the timer and survive until the time is up to win. If you’re the Impostor, your goal is to eliminate all the Crewmates!
  
  
• Do tasks – they make the timer go down faster 
  
  
• Watch your danger meter! If the Impostor is far away, the danger meter will be empty. The closer an Impostor is, the more the bar will fill up (red means they’re REALLY close) and the louder the music gets! Crewmates get a limited number of vents in this mode, so use them wisely to escape. 
  
  
• FINAL HIDE! These are the last few moments of the game where the Impostor gets a power boost, special Seek map, and a directional ping to where any surviving Crewmates are. CRYING. SCREAMING. TERRIFIED.
  

And that’s Hide n Seek! It’s been a blast getting to see the team take this from the concept born from our community into a full-fledged mode. If you’re looking for a full rundown on how the mode works check out our How to Play guide or our in-game tutorial.

Some more quick notes for Hide n Seek:

• [PC] All keybinds will be reset to default keybindings when the update is live. If you had them changed prior to the update remember to go in into the keybindings menu and change them.

• New game filter options 
  
  • When looking for public lobbies or creating one, you are now required to designate what kind of lobby it is. Currently, there are four options:
    
    • Beginner: Best for new players.
      
    • Casual: Best for players just looking to have fun and not take the game too seriously.
      
    • Serious: Best for players looking to win and play more deliberately.
      
    • Expert: Best for players who know Among Us well.
  
  
  
  
  
• Note: Filters will display with the exact options chosen. E.g. "Beginner" and "Serious" will find you lobbies tagged as BOTH those items. It will NOT list lobbies listed as only "Beginner" or "Serious".
  
• Pet your pets! You can now pet your lovable companions in-game and in lobbies. Stand near your pet and hold down the button to pet them.
  
  
  
• New Haunt button. Died? Wish you could track your friends or enemies easier to watch the end of the game? Our handy new Haunt button for ghosts allows you to do just that. Track any alive Crewmate, Impostor, or haunt your fellow ghosts!
  
  

No update would be complete without some fun cosmetics to add to your roster, and this one has a ton. First off - we heard you! More cosmetics you can buy with beans! Well get ready because the store now hosts a ton of new skins, nameplates, visors and even pets(!!!) that you can only get by having enough beans.



And speaking of pets... I just wanted to highlight my new favorite one to you which is a literal nugget. NUGGET PET. NUGGET PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!



Ahem, anyway.

Of course, we can't close out the year without some winter holiday themed goodies for all you good Crewmates and naughty Impostors! The two Snowflake and Snowbean Cosmicubes are back in the store, alongside a new Gift Cube Cosmicube.



The Snowbean and Snowflake Cosmicubes will be in stores until Jan 1, 2023 and the Gift Cube Cosmicube will be in stores until Feb 1, 2023! Be sure to grab yours when you can for some festive outings with your Crewmates.

Remember to check back in around New Years Eve too - there might be a fun little surprise waiting for you then in the game.

Oh, and we have another super fun announcement: On Monday, December 13th a special cosmetic of Benoit Blanc from Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is dropping! Just hop onto Among Us before January 10th and your sleuthing cosmetic is yours.

Hello Bean Lovers Anonymous!! 

Hmm. Bean lovers. Coffee beans? Do you think Crewmates would make a good cup of coffee if you (gently, lovingly) ground them up?  

….Anyway. Dors did a far better job of containing his excitement about our new mode than I ever could. Deep breaths...not going to run around screaming about how cool and fun Hide n Seek is... 

AHEM. I do have some official, technical (adjusts glasses) things to share with you all in the form of a list of known bugs for our Hide n Seek release, as well as an announcement. Never fear: the list of bugs is rather short and you should all still have smooth sailings into the new mode!  

• [Hide n Seek] Players may get killed while in the middle of venting
  
• [Hide n Seek] Players may get stuck in lobby after selecting "Play Again"
  
• [Classic] The first ejected Shapeshifter is incorrectly considered a Crewmate Ghost in a 2+ Impostor match and will be given tasks to complete.
  
• [All modes] Colorblind text does not show up in Quick Chat messages from other players

Guys, we can't hide it anymore. There's a job to be done! Get ready for work with the new house we've prepared for you. Clinch the deal and help us complete the renovation. I can't say more, but a little bird told me that a forest ranger is involved.




Let me share some arcane behind-the-scenes knowledge with you now. One does not simply walk into our enviro. That's why I've smuggled out the top-secret footage of a dev hiking through it. Okay, folks. It is a little unexpected, but we've come up with an idea you might like to see. We still consider if we want to implement it into the game, but before that, we've wanted to know your opinion. I've seen a lot of comments that ladders are too clunky, slow, and simply do not give the hard-working flipper a good time. In a stroke of genius the idea for a grappling hook came at us with its fast-as-light awesomeness! If we add it to the game, you'll be able to move freely like never before.



On your farm, you will have cows, chickens, and even pigs! That's right, we're bringing you all these classic farm animals, like Old McDonald once said: Ee i ee i o.
As a good farmer, you'll need to take care of your animals. That's why we thought it would be awesome if you could make them happy. Just take a look at that piggy, Oink! 🤩




Let the Flippers flip the floors. Let the Flippers flip the walls.
They connect at a 90-degree angle. One does not function without the other. Floors and walls are friends forever. That's why we've prepared numerous variations of them for those who want to change their houses from top to bottom. Keep in mind that it's just a tiny taste of things to come!



Ahhh, this development update is slowly coming to an end. Last but not least, we'd love to share one extra thing. Long awaited gradient set is coming! For all those who love to paint, we've got a sneak peek at our beautiful new paints. My favorite is blue, or maybe green. I don't know. It's difficult to pick favorites from amongst your own children! Can you choose your fav? Remember that it's not the whole set; there is more to come!




Before we end, we've got pretty cool news for ya! The premiere of House Flipper Pets VR is set! Be ready in 15TH OF DECEMBER to pet your virtual animals, flip the houses in multiplayer mode, and much more!
