- Custom font should work for all PCs.
- Added a save screen after the introduction to reduce the amount of times players would have to restart the intro because of game overs due to field battles.
- Four new dungeon areas; Scipius Crypt, Trollskull Camp, Fort Crossing, and Doomstone Mine.
- Fixed a bug regarding key items.
- Remade "A Daughter's Love" quest.
- Retouched dungeons that were made earlier in development; Breakshaft Mine, Joff's Cairn, Fort Helsith, and Gladestone Knoll.
- Added Bloodbrothers covenant; a group of vampire hunters led by the vampire-kindred, Rucalda Lothren (find her in Eastwatch).
The Symbiant - Bronze

We're happy to announce the web version of The Symbiant's demo, available to play on the main project page! To make this possible, the game build's assets have been compressed to make everything 4x lighter and thus easier to load on your device.

Art

5 CGs are complete for the first DLC. In order to keep the quality of the art consistent, stay on schedule, and alleviate some of 700HASH's workload, we decided to hire Doubleleaf as a colorist for the remaining CGs. Doubleleaf previously worked on our side story sketches, which we've put on hold to focus on everything else.

Sitai, on their end, finished another gorgeous sci-fi interior background and will be working on its variations.



Writing

Irlana is hard at work writing the second DLC! (The first one is finished in case you don't remember us mentioning it!)

The first 9 scenes are written and they already include two temperature-raising scenes (with 2 more VERY HOT scenes planned for this DLC!). The mood is quite different between the two DLCs: one is dramatic and angsty, and the one is fluffy and very... very indulgent. We really hope you will enjoy both of them!

Programming

After much trial and error, Fable has finished implementing all 54 achievements of the game! Although more testing will be needed for the Steam version.



Beta: version 0.7.0

The latest beta covers up to scene 32, making more progress on the Blue route! It is available as usual on Patreon and the itch page.

Optimizing Game Experience:

* Endless Trip is divided into two difficulties: Expedition and Desperate Journey. The Expedition provides customizable starting characters, the battle can be restarted, the dead character will enter the Injury camp and can be resurrected with blood crystals, but the achievement cannot be unlocked; and Desperate Journey retains the original Endless Trip experience.

* Endless Trip has added the "Home Road" function, and Ninelie's exclusive "King Reptile Valley" function.

* Endless Trip has adjusted event distribution: making the events of the two paths more different, the path selection will be more strategic. "Ghost Herald" will appear earlier, "Moonlit Herald" will appear more frequently, there will also be more opportunities to obtain prayer stones.

* Adjusted enemy buffs in Endless Trip: Added the debuffs of reducing Hit Rate and Crit Resist, and replaced the buffs of increasing Crit Rate and Dodge Rate with increased Hit Rate, Crit Resist, and Armor Pierce. Adjusted enemy buffs from 51 to 100 layers, now all have increased Armor, reduced the early HP and attack boost, and increased the later HP and attack boost, making the difficulty smoother.

* Added the "Lock" function in "Camp", which can consume wood to seal unwanted treasures so that they will not appear on the journey. For each treasure unlocked in the "Lodge", you will get a maximum lock limit.

Hey revolutionaries! The November update is here as promised.
We are excited to announce that we have completed all work listed on our previously published roadmap. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for Home Behind 2!

The v1.0.3f0 update includes:

- 1 new side mission: Challenge Psychic Agent, a new boss class, to earn special armor rewards.
How to unlock this quest:
  1. Complete Secret Base, the first main mission.
  2. Arrive at an area with a Danger of 4 or higher.
  3. Explore 15 or more areas (chance to spawn side mission increases with each area explored; explore 25 areas for a 100% chance).
Mission path:
  1. After triggering the mission, a nearby area with a Danger of 5 or higher will be chosen as the mission target.
  2. Explore the area and enter the Library to fight members of a Research Squad. Face off against the Psychic Agent, a new boss, in the last room.
  3. Defeat the Psychic Agent and complete the mission to receive a special piece of armor with the "Psychic Agent" modifier. Clear the mission on Hard mode or a higher difficulty to unlock the secret playable class "Psychic Agent" (female only).
Complete the mission to trigger a special event — Brain Implant.
Psychic Agent

Skills
Soul Steal
Deal damage to an enemy and inflict Stun, Jam, or Silence. Steal a portion of the target's HP and Morale. Skill effect increases for each point of difference in Intelligence.
Terrorize
Deal damage to an enemy and inflict Stun, Jam, or Silence. Steal a portion of the target's Morale.
Brain Bite
Steal a portion of a target's Intelligence and Resolve over time. Skill effect increases for each point of difference in Intelligence.

- 5 new rare recipes: Mending Stew, Radiant Cocktail, Fermented Juice, Queen's Decaburger, Fungi Soup. Each offers relatively strong positive and negative effects.
Mending Stew: Strength +10, Resist Injury -15%

Radiant Cocktail: Agility +10, Loot -15%

Fermented Juice: Intelligence +10, Morale -15%

Queen's Decaburger: Fitness +10, Supplies Cost +30%

Fungi Soup: Resolve +10, EXP -30%
- New mail: World powers which have a good relationship with the Revolutionaries will offer obsolete gear for sale at a large discount.
A stronger relationship with a world power increases the chance they will make an offer. Offers include 1 to 3 weapons, armor, trinkets, or medicine at a 20% to 40% discount.
- 1 new enemy squad - Research Squad
Research Squads can include Bio Soldiers, Surgeons, Daisy Mercs, Pharmacists, Chemists, Engineers, Radiation Engineers, and Signal Officers.
- Optimized auto fight logic, including an independent toggle for fighters' 3 skills and their auto use settings.
Check the Auto Settings menu in the upper right of fighters' avatars to enable and disable auto use of skills.

- Adjusted and enhanced effects of the Chemist's skills.
Increased Chemical Spray damage.
Increased healing effect and duration of Rapid Healing.
Removed Silence from possible random effects caused by Rage Injection.
- Adjusted and improved effects on special gear earned as rewards from all missions.

- Fine-tuned reward values of some events.

Hello Streamers, Big News Scared Tube is now officially been released.

There will be more clothing options and design changes to the custom caricature settings later this week or next.

We have also added some features like language selection for menu settings (Full Game soon to come)

First update i'm super happy to say Multiplayer with friends has been added and totally working as intended ...... There are many bugs with it since this is my first attempt at implementing Online multiplayer and not going to lie it's very tough. But besides that i'm glad it's somewhat functioning :)

Thank you to those who have played and given feedback on the 0.2 release!

This patch contains minor bugfixes and adjustments:
  • Added menu button
  • Pause overlay added to make it more obvious when the game is paused
  • The game is now automatically unpaused on New Game, and when Orr is placed
  • Pause state is now saved (paused, play, or fast forward)
  • Houses now automatically downgrade from a village house to a regular house if a nearby tavern is destroyed (previously just gave a red warning and became disfunctional, which is still the case for buildings that can’t downgrade any further)
  • The camera is now constrained slightly closer to the terrain
  • Shadows now render from a greater distance
  • Fixed exception raised when trying to place a building out of bounds
  • Fixed bug where Orr illumination effect wasn’t showing up
  • Fixed bug where rotation visuals weren’t updating after placing a bridge
  • Fixed orthographic camera clipping through water at long view distances
