Version 4.3 - Load-Save and scaling bug fix

Version 4.3 include the following fixes:
- Saving after finish prologue and then loading - game being stuck with save prompt and state of the game become messed up
- Saving in potion room then loading, in certain case it's making Jase floating in the room
- Sometimes when characters ending their animation they're changing their scale\direction for one frame (looks like a glitch)

if these bugs stop you from making progress in chapter 1, you can
restart the chapter from the main menu.

DISGUST does more damage, for COMRADES as for MONSTERS.

It is possible to return to a NEUTRAL road once the TOXIC or WEIRD road is engaged.

Bear and Boar Hunt

From 12.11 - 00:00 till 13.11 - 23:59 (by Moscow time) a hunt for common bears, boars and hogs (not rare and not "killer class") has been announced! Only those mutants are counted, victory over which brings more than 5 experience points.

Top three winners from main servers (RU, PvP, PvE) will receive prizes:

Artifact "Bear's Whistle" (24 days) to call a bear in ushanka-hat -
provided that at least one bear is killed.

Artifact "Gimlet's Whistle" (3 days) -
provided that at least one boar or hog is killed.

Old Stalker's Journal (14 days) -
for all three winners.

Stalkers from top-15 will get 50 A-Zone pins!

Garden of Kharid & DXP: LIVE Friday! - This Week In RuneScape

Winter may be coming, but we're getting into a growth mindset with the new Garden of Kharid - and with superb timing, Double XP LIVE returns this Friday!



The Elder Gods have been defeated, and Gielinor can finally heal. Now a strange garden has popped up – in Kharid, of all places! The druids Polletix and Sydekix want you to investigate.

Visit the garden North of Al-Kharid to access a new herb patch, as well as a whole suite of rewards that optimise your Farming experience and yields!

Farm across Gielinor, earn currency and use it to unlock powerful upgrades, including the all-new Plant Power which lets you plant multiple seeds in one patch! Plus, get your hands on Supreme Growth Potions to have those crops springing up almost instantly!

You'll also find new Thieving targets and items that optimise your Runecrafting.

In the spirit of change and #growth, we've also made some major quality of life updates to Farming – Diseased Farming Patches no longer kill your crops, Compost Bins are more efficient and Nightshade Patches grant a minimum of three produce every time!

Head to the area North of Al-Kharid and talk to Polletix and Sydekix to get started. You’ll need 50 Farming to dig in.

Today’s update sees the continuation of the two miniquests that were released with the Wilderness Flash Events. Together, these three stories bridge the gap between Daughter of Chaos and our final major quest of the year. Dive in and explore the ongoing Zamorakian activities emerging as civil war ravages the Wilderness!
How To Play
The Civil War miniquest series is available to all members who have completed Daughter of Chaos and have 50 Farming.

To start part three, travel to the Wilderness and speak to Anne Dimitri.



Double XP LIVE returns this Friday November 11th until Monday November 21st, starting and ending at 12:00 PM Game Time. The perfect moment to get on some Farming with Garden of Kharid? Maybe!

DXP LIVE is a 10-day event where you have 48 Hours of Double XP to use at your leisure. You can even pause the timer if you need to do other activities and don't want to lose precious DXP time! If you won't be using all your time, you can also trade an hour of DXP per day for credits to use with Nic The Trader.

This event is for the main game and NOT for Fresh Start Worlds – though there's some sweet XP boosts going on over there too, so let’s take a look at those in the next section!



The competitive period of Fresh Start Worlds is coming to a close, and the XP is getting spicy! You now get double XP for all skills above level 70, and 2.25x the XP for all skills below level 70. In a new twist, every monster or boss drop now has a 20% chance to be doubled, and Tier 4 Auras now are available too! Good luck out there, freshies.



Here's this week's bonuses in full:
  • +125% XP (skills below level 70).
  • NEW: +100% XP (skills above level 70).
  • Continuation of Free Deaths.
  • NEW: 20% chance to double a monster or boss drop.
  • NEW: 35% chance to double gathered materials.
  • NEW: Tier 4 Auras unlocked.
  • +100% Accuracy in combat.



All German Worlds will be offline this Tuesday for us to perform necessary maintenance that will keep our services running optimally.

The Worlds are expected to be offline for approximately five hours beginning at 10:50 Game Time on Tuesday. A maintenance post will appear on RuneScape.com while this work is active so you can track if the Worlds are still down. The post will disappear when the Worlds have returned.




Fresh Start Worlds
  • The Inverted Slayer Master Cape's teleport can be used from the Backpack.
  • The Box of Banking can now be deposited in the Bank using ‘deposit all’ option.
Other
  • Casting 'Split Soul' with the Essence of Finality Amulet no longer fires an offhand auto-attack with excessive range.
  • TzKal-Zuk's insta-kill attack will no longer kill players who teleport out of his arena at the last second.
  • The daily purchase limit for Treasure Hunter Keys in the Oddments Store has been decreased to 10.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Master Completionist Hood to be listed on the Grand Exchange.
  • The Eek pet can now be added to your Player-Owned House Menagerie.
  • Fixed an issue where Greater Chain could copy more than one ability if that ability was a special attack or channeled.
  • Quest map icons are no longer missing for Civil War miniquests.

Grimlord DEMO v0.2.1 Release

New content:
1. The archery system has been redone. You can now craft a quiver and equip it in your back or waist weapon slot. Press the side button to pull out an arrow. Place the arrow on the bow then draw. Release the side button to shoot. Put your hand in the weapon slot and press the trigger button to switch between grabbing the quiver or pulling out the arrow.
2. Remove the Pumpkin Lord and the Halloween Challenge. Loot obtained by defeating the Pumpkin Lord will be retained.
3. Now compatible with Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
4. Optimized Valve Index headset compatibility, fixed weapon drop issue.

Fixes:
1. Fixed the game crash when picking up potions.
2. Fixed the glitch of grenades being detonated by weapons when placed in backpacks.
3. Fixed the jiggly wrist glitch.
4. Fixed AI ragdolling when stuck.
5. Fixed a issue that caused the character to squat in the game due to player's height.

Circuit Rush!
This new mechanic triggers under certain conditions, for the player this is every time they trigger a "Perfect dodge". Certain parts will only give benefits while Circuit Rush is active.

Additional parts
- Nitro boost: Circuit Rush grants you temporary movement speed.
- Second wind turbine: Circuit Rush heals the player slightly over time.

The Future
We've done a lot of work on this latest patch to lay down ground work for future content, Circuit Rush will add more exciting possibilites for future parts, we've added UI elements that will make it easier to convey information to the player as well as many background features not worth mentioning or simply being kept secret until we are ready to show you them!
