It's been a while since the last update but rest assured hard work has been going on behind the scenes. Coffee fueled hard work!
Learning To Walk
Developer note: Elon is intended to border on difficult but not be overly hard. Space Survival should require a bit of thinking, learning, discovering and possible yes even dying. Which is why most people SKIP the tutorial all together. That said for those that might be interested, The Tutorial has been reworked totally.
Now it is a separate level with tasks oriented to anyone that feels they need a leg up on what to do. It covers:
Player Movement and Stats
Building Stations and Station Uses
Mining and Refining Ore
Crafting and Hub Building
And how to launch Probes and warp through space
Hub Have Been Hitting The Gym
They have clearly been working out and have a sleek new look.
The corners have all been rounded out, as well as. Tops and Bottoms have been added to provide a more rounded shape. With likely VERY VERY rare exception nothing in space is square, it just didn't feel right the hubs were so square.
Developer Note: A more Square shape helps with the building system correctly aligning newly built items. The closer to that shape the hubs are the more space that is left for the player to utilize so making them totally round doesn't really benefit the player, or make logical sense for someone attempting to survive in space.
Building Changes
When building a Hub near another but, occasionally, doors are blocked and cant be build on. Previously, this would resort in the Door Blockade blocking the door, preventing its use. Now, any door that cannot be used as a door will just instead become a window.
Developer Notes: This is a change that has been wanted for a while. If you are building a hub with all doors in a place only one or no doors are usable, the room would look very prison like. This also allows for more viewing into the Space outside the ship. It was hard work to make, SO LOOK AT IT EVERY CHANCE YOU GET!
Mining Animation
For the Longest time the animations surrounding mining an asteroid have needed to be reworked. They are being fine tuned still but you can see the new Fracturing in both the game and the tutorial.
Developer Note: Yeah, no note..... It's getting there. Just check it out.
This concludes the update. Thanks for all your support.

5 new items compatible with the crafting system for the Stravux map.
Added the Mysterious Cube and the Snowball rewards to the crafting system.
A new status effect called chilled has been added to the game. To break from it you simply have to dash in any direction.
The snowball boss will wait a few seconds before making another snowball. Your projectiles will no longer be deflected by snowballs so you can hurt him at any point in time.
In order to let players get the Greedy Champion achievement on any map, the Cup of Greed has been categorized as a generic chaos reward.
Fixes :
Fixed the Gotta go Fast! achievement. To get it you must max out the movement speed passives of the Archer and either gain enough speed stacks or to get the Boots item reward.
Fixed the Archer's Quick Shot upgrades (IV, V, VI).
Fixed the Challenge Boss Room's lightning.
Fixed an issue that caused the snowball boss to flee constantly.
Note : We found a subtle bug with the animation canceling system when heavily spamming attacks (usually your primary attack will be stuck and the animations will behave strangely). We're currently trying to find a way to reproduce it easily. Let us know if you find it.
The next update will either add enemy variety or more rewards. Let us know what should be focused next!
- New Handbook pages to reflect mechanic changes since launch - Nessie will react better when killing a speed boat - Improvements to the panning when using map - New sounds for fishing rod - Photos taken by the Underwater Camera will now better represent the in-game view (including using the Thermal overlay) - Increased range where you can see the thermometer area

Dwarven Skykeep among other game reveals, announcements, gameplay and more!
Happy Halloween everyone! I'm excited to introduce the new "Trick r Treat" Relic!
"Trick r Treat" does nothing on its own, but when you choose it you're given a random assortment of 6 "Tricks" and "Treats." Treats function like Gems and can be socketed to a minion. The usually will decrease delay, but at a cost of other negative traits. This can be worth it to help make high-delay minions more useful, or maybe you just want to make your minions slow and weak so your Vamps can have a feast? Or maybe you'll get lucky and end up with a few "Tricks" in the bag, which will boost the effect of treats on minions, and potentially outweigh their negative effects.
The random assortment and variety of effects on these cards ensure that every playthrough will have something new to try that works a bit differently than the last one.
Play all week through Halloween to unlock these special limited time loot items!
