Serious Fixes
  • Players who were previously experiencing graphics with scrambled, garbled polygons on certain GPUs can now try running the game by passing the --opengl-display-lists command line switch via Properties->General->LAUNCH OPTIONS in Steam Library for the game.
  • Fix crash that happened when character with astronomically high Perception score rolls initiative during battle.
Minor UI Input Improvements
  • A few menus and other UI elements which operate via arrow key input didn't accept the equivalent arrow keys on the Numpad. They do now.
  • After being prompted for party member action choices at the start of each battle round, at that 'Accept these choices? (Yes / No)' style dialog window, you can now also press Enter to confirm just as if you hit 'Y'

MMORPG Tycoon 2 - VectorStorm
Hi everyone, it's Trevor - the main designer and programmer of MMORPG Tycoon 2. Last week I took a short break from my work developing Dungeons to look at ways to allow you to more easily share your creations with other players, or even just between your own MMOs.

We've already had a taste of that with ability prefabs, but I was never really satisfied with that approach, and we're looking to do a lot more support for sharing stuff you've created next year, but I wanted to get some better systems in place for it now, and this is what we've come up with for a first step toward improved sharing and reuse!



New in this build:
  • Character cards!
    In the Design interface, every player class, NPC class, and monster class now gets a "character card" where you can write any descriptions or notes or lore you like, and you can export an image of that character card.

    Those images can then be shared with other players via any image hosting service; drop one of those files into your prefabs folder and you'll be able to import those characters into your game, complete with their name, model, combat abilities, and lore. As long as the host doesn't resize the image or perform a lossy re-encoding, they should retain all the data needed to import the characters into a new game!

    We hope you enjoy this new sharing feature, and to encourage people to try it out we're holding a costume design contest in our Discord community. See below for more details on that!

Other Changes
  • Vastly improved the behaviour of wall placement tools, especially when
    connecting small walls to big walls (and especially ice walls).

  • Redid the layout of the player info box, to make it smaller and easier to
    find stuff inside.
Fixes
  • ScenePanes now obey the UIScale option. (Previously, if you had a high UIScale value, you could wind up with very chunky low-resolution 3D scenes inside UI windows because they had guessed their on-screen size incorrectly)

  • Fixed the pathing behaviour of players as they exit the default starting point.

  • Fixed launcher images in the desktop interface sometimes being saved as flat black images instead of as game screenshots.

  • Fixed cursor placement within vertically-centered (or bottom-justified) text edit boxes.

  • Fixed the rendering of anti-aliased ScenePanes (technical details: they should have been set to composite using premultiplied alpha, but were actually using normal compositing, which often resulted in half-pixel-wide black outlines around objects)

  • Fixed texture animations in combat abilities, which were playing frames in the wrong order (and have been for months and nobody --including me-- noticed and mentioned it, and I am **so cross** about that!)

  • Fixes tint on newly joined subscribers. (Previously they rezzed into the world as pure white characters, as if they were ghosts. Now fixed!)

  • Fixed a few very small memory leaks.

...plus the usual localisation updates and smaller bug fixes and improvements!

-All Teleports that occur while in Party Mode should keep you at your current position except for joining or someone Toggling Party Mode
-Fix for falling out of Arena in Boss Battle, you will now be teleported to entrance after a few seconds
-Blocks to spawn Boss have changed to 10k and can be adjusted in real time if need be
-Infinium Bonus has been modified and will now grant the party member that broke the block additional credit over other party members
-When leaving a party you will now be ported to your current position in the correct physical location you would have been at while in the party

Didnapper 2 - Maartimer
We recently released the big v1.1.0 update for Didnapper 2, and with that of course also comes various new bugs. This update aims to fix as many of those as possible, as well as making some smaller requested changes and improvements overall.

General changes:
  • Made some improvements to the mod menu. It now displays more information, including mod descriptions and a notification when a modded version of the game has been successfully made.
  • Improved the sound quality of some of the music
  • Increased the escape EXP gained on lower escape levels
  • Changed the fail chance added by the Haphazard Handling escape skill from 10% to 5%
  • Improved controls for the 3x3 image puzzle
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed Noelle being invisible and/or facing the wrong direction in some scenes
  • Fixed Lanelle sometimes being in the monster section of the enemy book
  • Fixed casino clerk having cut-off dialogue
  • Fixed casino clerk sometimes having items he shouldn't, and sometimes not having items he should have
  • Fixed Casca sometimes standing in the room before you rescue Eileen

  • Fixed random vines sometimes getting involved in the sidequest "The Scoop"
  • Fixed player not getting the fife from Lanelle if they already have the lute
  • Fixed Zhara's gag sometimes being displayed incorrectly in faceset scenes
  • Fixed the wrong card being given to the player from a chest in Keron (the right card will be given now when loading the game if the chest has been opened already)
  • Fixed sometimes being sent to the Capulet guardhouse when leaving the Miu Miu bandit camp
  • Fixed the level up screen not taking the Illusory Gem effect into account
  • Fixed already obtained unique items shown as being dropped by enemies the second time you fight them
  • Fixed issues related to resetting the "A Damsel In Need" sidequest
  • Fixed some vine enemies not having full-sized images in the enemy menu
  • Fixed some minor tileset issues
  • Fixed some spelling errors, typos and other text-related issues
  • Some other very minor fixes and improvements
