Attention Officers!

Today we’d like to announce the launch of our mod.io integration! Starting today, users will be able to browse and download mods in-game using our new menu system! To start we’ve communicated with a little under a dozen of the modding communities most prolific and capable modders and mappers to fill up our roster of mods to start.

In the previous announcement we had mentioned that only maps would work in the first implementation of mod.io, the developers have been hard at work since that announcement and now ALL MODS THAT ARE IN .PAK FORM NOW WORK. This includes guns, player skins, AI tweaks, etc.

At the same time we’re going to be announcing our first modding competition! The winners will be furnished with an array of prizes, with the grand prize being permanent inclusion into the game and the universe!

*Ship Transfer applications will be processed according to the order in which they were submitted. However, some Ship Transfers may be postponed until the next Scheduled Maintenance if the number of submitted applications is excessive.

*If you do not have enough AC at the beginning of the Scheduled Maintenance, Ship Transfer will not occur, even if you purchase AC during the Scheduled Maintenance.

New mechanics:
- Added new timing system
- Added a new object management system
- Added a system for optimizing objects on the game scene

- Added calculation of the maximum possible amount of goods when buying

- Added new mechanics of transferring items to the merchant, both individually and all at once
- Added dirt on tables from visitors
- Traders at the start of each day collect $40 of their previous business day's fee
- Added the ability to get an achievement from an early status, but for this you need to be careful and enter the correct combination

Changes in mechanics:
- Removed air temperature

- Increased in-game day time from 15 minutes to 20

Bugs fixed:

Minor edits:
- The city system was rebuilt. Some buildings have been replaced. Changed non-key building locations
- Reducing the number of calls to draw the camera to improve fps stability
- Removed old timekeeping system
- Redesigned localization system
- Added a notification when trying to open a store without items on sale
- Fixed UI error for water, milk and coffee when adding them to the coffee machine
- Slightly changed the mechanics of burger buns
- Now the game settings menu returns to the top position every time you open it
- Fixed glitch re-entering the settings menu, buttons were not pressed.
- The upper fps limit is limited for the stable operation of the application and the reduction of the number of crashes
- Removed old skyboxes that cut performance on low-end PCs
- Changed skyboxes morning/afternoon/evening/night
- Cooked pizza can no longer be frozen

There are quite a few changes this time around. Most are behind the scenes, but there should be a noticeable difference in the difficulty for some players.

The goal is not to make the whole game easier, but to smooth the difficulty curve just a bit.

Act 3
  • Foamflowers can now only produce 1 enemy at a time. (This change can also be seen in Act 9.)
Act 5
  • A checkpoint has been moved from Scene 6 to Scene 5.
  • An additional checkpoint has been added in Scene 7.
  • The placement of some geysers, platforms, and bells have been moved for clarity.
  • Geysers and raindrops now melt at a decreased rate when interacted with. (This change can also be seen in Acts 7 and 11.)
Misc.
  • The snowflake/freezing animation is now quicker to better match hitbox durations.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred in some enemy types when falling off a ledge.
  • Fixed a bug where ice shards lingered during a screen transition.

  • Fixed bugs related to Sky Sphere in 3D mode with lighting.
  • Adjusted how 2D renders tile layers to whole numbers, with the last in that series rendering objects.
  • Annotation effects greatly expanded and working. Number Formatter, Negative, Font, Color, etc, are all available.

French Royal Army (French, II)
“Enables your Musketeers and Halberdiers to benefit from Combat promotions to receive extra hitpoints and damage for each defeated enemy military unit.”

  • Hitpoint and damage tiers for both units: +5% / +15% / +25%.
Prince-Electors (Germans, I)
“You may choose a German Royal House as an ally that will allow you to recruit and upgrade units at the Royal Embassy.”

You are safe to boom your economy behind stone walls, but don't wait too long before you try to establish a presence on the map, otherwise you will find yourself pinned down and your economy struggling.

Players battle on a map with no natural resources other than wood.

Important information on availability of War and Peace servers during launch.
  • Access to F2P server (Caribbean) will be open to all paid version users during maintenance on the 19th of October.
  • Free to play version of Naval Action will be launched on Steam 19th of October at approximately 4-6 PM UTC time/ 9-11 am Seattle (PST) when Valve would manually launch the Free version of the game in the Steam Store.
  • Unfortunately due some technical specifics of the Steam side and our server tech, War and Peace server will TEMPORARILY be closed for several days. Valve will have to manually support access to old servers for paid users and this will require from several hours to several working days. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. If the temporary shut down will last for more than several hours - compensation will be provided once servers reopen.
New server launch - Caribbean
  • Caribbean is a seasonal server which will accept all incoming players starting today.
  • Caribbean server will have 4 seasons:
    • Jan-March
    • April-June
    • July-September
    • October-December.
  • First season will start on launch of Caribbean server and will end at the end of December 2022.
  • Caribbean server will have 4 nations:
    • Britain
    • Spain
    • France
    • Pirates
    • Dutch might be added in the next seasons.
Important: Caribbean Server - Seasonal Resets
  • Seasons bring renewal. New players will never again face insurmountable walls of skill, overpowered ships and upgrades. Every new player wave will have the chance for a fresh start every season.
  • Each new season, you and your clan will be able to choose a new tactic and approach to conquer cities. New clans, new alliances, new wars, a new approach to conquering strategic and profitable places.
  • First season will start on launch of Caribbean server and will end at the end of December 2022.
  • The following content will reset on season end:
    • XP and Crafting XP and Skill Books - will be reset in the first season
    • All assets - will be reset in the first season
    • All player investments in crafting - will be reset in the first season but compensated at the beginning of the new season
    • Naval Service Medals - all accumulated naval service medals will be sent to the player money wallet account in Season 2.
  • At season 2 start all players on the Caribbean will start at lvl 0 and will have earned NSM in store

Patch changes
  • Caribbean Server Port ownership leaderboard points will only come from 2 regions
    • Hispaniola
    • Bahamas
    • Combat for these regions will create a more defined compact active war. At the same time, small clans or groups of players who do not want to take part in a fierce war for prestige and service medals will be able to capture regions and cities all over the map for crafting and taxation.
  • Ship crafting changes
  • All ships will require permits to craft.
    • Permits can be gained from open world and mission NPCs and rarely from ship disassembly.
    • Permits will have an increased chance of drop from special events when they happen.
  • Upgrades can no longer be placed into the upgrade chest at Sea.
  • Leaks and structural leaks have been rebalanced.
  • Crew on pumps and crew during leaks numbers have been changed. Crew on survival will not grow so drastically when the ship has taken a lot of water.
  • NPC stats and rank changes.
    • Experimental ranks added.
    • Captain/Admiral of the Red - uses damage and reload mods, weak hull strength
    • Captain/Admiral of the White - uses hull and structure strength mods, weak damage output
  • Cost of the port battle flag has been reduced to 100 combat medals
  • Port battle flags are removed from loot. Flags can only be purchased from now on.
  • Ship hull repairs have been increased to 40%
  • St Kitts pump bonus lowered to 80%
  • Grape damage increased by 25%
  • Ship structure hitpoints have been slightly increased
  • Costs of warehousing, outposts, additional docks, warehouse space and tow permits have been changed.
  • Port defense no longer grants points for the Port Battle Leaderboards - to fix arranged defense exploit
  • PVP Leaderboard (accessible from map) bugs fixed.

Please note that we are using presence to gauge the popularity of an Operator. This notion had to be introduced to reflect the implementation of the pick & ban.

Presence definition: pick rate of an Operator when not banned. Win Delta: The Win Delta is aggregated from Operator’s Win Deltas per Bomb Site.

DOKKAEBI
  • Logic bomb now affects defenders in Support Mode.
  • Population targeted by this change: All.
This change is meant to curb the advantage of eliminated or Joining-in-progress defenders sitting on cams, particularly at bomb sites. Dokkaebi can now more reliably create openings in the defenders' network for diffuser plants and other strategies.

ROOK
  • Armor Vests grant withstand.
  • Population targeted by this change: All.
The impact of Armor Vests are difficult to measure in most encounters. To make them more interesting to use and useful in tough situations we've added the withstand ability.

DOC
  • Each projectile heals 200 hp (from 40)
  • Add Balif as 3rd Secondary
  • Population targeted by this change: Casual.
The effectiveness of Doc's healing ability suffers greatly from the newly enhanced functionality of Rook's armor plates. So, it's been increased to better match the skill required to hit friendly allies with healing projectiles.

CASTLE
  • Add M45 Meusoc
  • Population targeted by this change: All.
We wanted to add a weapon choice for Castle's 3rd weapon slot.

KALI
  • Increase damage to 135 (from 127)
  • Population targeted by this change: All.
To provide a counter for Rook's new utility we've increased Kali's damage output.

KAID
  • Increase maximum ammo to 121 (from 71)
  • Population targeted by this change: All.
Ammo has been increased in order to make the TCSG 12 a more attractive option.

GOYO
  • Increase maximum ammo to 121 (from 71)
  • Population targeted by this change: All.
Ammo has been increased in order to make the TCSG 12 a more attractive option.

ABILITIES
OVERHEAL
  • Reduce maximum Overheal to 20hp (from 40)
