Good Evening and happy weekend to you all, today i wanted to announce a new feature that was recently implemented into the game. I thought long and hard about whether or not i should incorporate this aspect into the game and i finally decided to give in, So the new feature is a skill tree system. Aurora will fight enemies and once they\re defeated she gains skill points which in game are known as Soul Offerings. With these soul offerings you are able to obtain better skills and player improvements that will help you better defeat enemies in the world of Orellia. Now you are not free to sacrifice your soul offerings as you please, there is a timer in which the Soul Merchant better known as Sapphire will spawn in the center of the map and upon her arrival you are able to use your soul offerings.
Example
Here is an example of how Sapphire shall be spawned on the map for the player, you are prompted with a gamepad button to initiate the Soul Offerings Skill Tree. Also dont worry about getting attacked while your buying upgrades the game will be paused and will give you some time to choose your next ability.
You will need to disable shaders in the options menu and enable the controller.
I've also disabled shaders for all new installs of the game. The issue is some people don't have the older directX9 files installed (STEAM DECK does not come with them installed either).
Egglien's got a fresh new update with steam achievements plus loads of fixes.
The achievements can easily be done in the first two worlds which is perfect for another 100% on your steam library...
I'm starting to close the door on the game itself, though I wouldn't turn anyway just yet, there's still a couple more Eggtastic surprises lurking around the corner waiting for it to reveal itself ːsteammockingː
A small patch was issued today - you can tell whether you have the new version by looking for "1.02s" in the top right corner of the title screen.
This update adds more explanation the first time that you encounter an Intuition Mode puzzle:
Hopefully this will make it more understandable for future players if they can see how to guess which direction to look for the Eye based on the curving lines. Wherever you click, you SHOULD get some clues that help you tell whether you're close or not and which way you should look next.
If this still makes no sense, comment and we'll see if we can elaborate further!
No new game content has been added, this is really more for the benefit of future players.
