Cultivation Story: Reincarnation - Ban

-Fixed a visual bug where one button switch feature does not update soul selections displayed name
-Fixed a visual bug where interact shortcut button for wish well is displaying the right keyboard button
-Updated left and right arrow positions in soul enhancement window

-Updated arrow colors in soul enhancement window

-Fixed a bug where show blood/damage number toggles setting resets upon entering a run

-Fixed a bug where attack values of xian tomb reward is not shown properly
-Lowered gamepad right stick cursor travel speed by 20%

-Samadhi fire's travel speed increased by 150%
-Teleport while using gamepad will reset cursor position, this is to prevent player from teleporting again
-Updated keybind display for interaction and sell/read
-Fixed a bug where attack values of tribulation reward is not shown properly
-Attack sequence no longer resets when npcs and bosses enter second or third phase

Level 5 = old Level 4
Level 2 is slightly easier now.

Vault of the Void - Josh Bruce
Wow, hard to believe it's already been 1 week since Launch! I thank all of you for the lovely comments and reviews -- they really help share and bring the game to new people, thank you all so much!!

I’m already hard at work on Controller Support, however I wanted to push in a quick update here to fix a few issues which have shown up. Overall, things seem to have gone pretty smoothly, however there are a few little issues laying around that have been fixed below.

Asides from that, two issues still stand which I’m chasing up. The first, is a soft crash on the Errant Scoutlight enemy. This seems to affect such a small margin of players (only 1 report so far), that I’m thinking it has to do with two artifacts clashing. If you’re having this issue, please reach out either via Steam or Discord!

The second is an odd crash that happens (again, softcrash, no error report) which seems to be tied in some way to Bleed. Sadly, this would also make it unable to continue the run on reboot. Thankfully that is fixed now, so anyone with this issue should be able to continue their runs without issue!

Again, both of these seem to be in the 0.01% of players range, but I’d love to solve them. If you encounter anything like this, please let me know!

Other than that, just a huge thank you to everyone again for making the past week very special. Can’t wait to keep going here! I'd love to do a full recap video at some point to express my thanks to you all, as soon as I can find the time!

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug with casting Dedication at 0 energy.
- Fixed a bug with the Veilded Watcher on the right having a wacky hitbox.
- Fixed Silver Spoon
- Fixed a bug stopping you buying potions at the Potion Shop if you had the exact amount of dollarydoos.
- Fixed an interaction with Stone Sling and Allomancy that, whilst TOTALLY AWESOME, wasn't intended :( Sorry
- Fixed a bug caused by a soft crash on Bleed that won't let you continue the run. All runs affected by this should be safe to proceed now!
- Fixed a really strange bug where Upgrading a card would remove a different card from your deck whilst giving you the upgraded version.
Dungeon Looter - Wappen
Dungeon Looter is coming to Steam Early Access (EA) this weekend!



The EA phase will be lacking content depth but it has full game loop. Here is some example on what you can do:
  • 3 dungeon themes (randomized each run) + Final boss theme to finish the game loop
  • Around 4 type of enemies per theme = total ~16 types
  • 3 main classes (Adventurer, Ranger, Mage)
  • 5 main weapon strategy (Sword, Knife, Spear, Bow, Magic wand)
  • Online co-op with your friend, or joining the public room (if you don't mind the wilderness of the internet)
  • Room size can be up to 12* players (*game host must have good connection, large game will be smoother with TCP/IP)
  • Some upgrade to unlock in home base, which worth 10+ runs at least.
  • If you look for higher challenge, for now you can try higher difficulty like playing "3 or 4 players" settings on solo, etc. (hard mode will come later)
Current game state will serve as a foundation for future content such as new environments, enemies, game mode, or mods, which will eventually added along the way.
For example, with some effort I can add a totally new game mode like PvP or making parody game mode on today meta genre MOBA, battle royale or auto survival. (just an idea, would be nice but it will be in the distant future)

Q: What will be EA roadmap?
I don't have a solid slideshow to present here, simply put, the plan is to fix critical gameplay or technical problems reported by community, then adding contents towards full release scope, modding and new game mode will be somewhat lower priority after that.

Q: Not my cup of tea
I'm aware that Dungeon Looter will have some barrier of entry, not everyone will 'click' with our game design, that's also why the DEMO version exists. Game formula can still evolve. To tell you the truth 1 year ago was worse than this to the point that our internal testers complained, but now it is getting better with each feedback iteration.

In the long run, if public modding system comes, I'm sure some community-tuned gameplay formula might even better than mine, I'm not the best game designer but I do adapt to the feedback.

Q: I see a lot of ready-made store assets?
While I felt embarrassed as they are not original, for solo developer, I do have to rely on them for now, art asset is one of my weak field to tackle. I also tried my best to modify some of them rather than using them as-is from the package. And yes I do get that tingling feeling too when I see other indie game using exact same asset pack. (It is like A-HA! moment)

Q: Discord?
I think I won't be able to meet the expectation of managing/moderating/active/keeping everyone happy on the discord server. If it is going to be a inactive one, I prefer not to have one. Let's use Steam forum for now. (although a bit inconvenient that it cannot post images, but doable with external site like imgbb) I will try my best to reply to every comment as my schedule allow.

New gameplay tweaks!🌃

We've got bug fixes and updates today with a focus on improving Waveform / Compressor abilities outside of combat!

Here's the lowdown:
  • Waveform (pink) platforms stick to the ground at an angle, creating slanted surfaces.😉
  • Compressor (red) has new effects on the player while in the air...
  • You can no longer interact with NPC's / terminals while standing on a waveform disk.
  • Further beautified the map, adding some new posters and decals!
  • There is a small delay between tag grabbing and attacking to fix animation grossness.
  • Bug squashes ranging from animation issues to the player respawn.
  • Tweaks so tiny they can only be seen on our discord server.

Grave-Queen - Ravens Storms
This update is for the demo build which includes:

-Improvements to the tutorial, aswell as an option for replaying said tutorial. This also includes explanations for using the subsystem menu, how dialogue works, and the codex system.

-Indicators to represent dialogue that has not been seen yet

-The codex, (that isn't fully implemented yet) although it cannot be accessed atm.

Next update will most likely be the last for the demo, and it will most likely stay the same unless something happens once Grave Queen releases. Anywho, next update is focused on updating playable character models and completing the codex system.

Arenas - Ball Indicator
  • Updated the version of the “cage” ball indicator (which appears when the ball is on or close to a wall) on Sovereign Heights, Salty Shores (Night), Neo Tokyo (all versions), and Starbase ARC (all versions)
    • The cage ball indicator in these arenas matches the indicator already used in Champions Field
  • Modified the cage ball indicator on Champions Field (Day), and Salty Shores (Night)
