Flat Eye is just one short month away from being launched.
To celebrate this, we are keeping the Next Fest demo live until the day we launch, letting you play around with your station, building futuristic models, and interacting with customers.
The demo will go down on November the 14th when we go live, and you will finally be able to experience the full game.
Dear Fireflies! [Lost Light] is scheduled for a server update at 02:00 (UTC) on October 13th, 2022. The estimated duration is 2 hours. Your game experience will be affected during the update. We recommend waiting until the update is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause! Please restart the client after the update to experience the new content. We will send a small gift to your mailbox for your troubles.

Embrace the spooky season! This celebration returns to Midgard today, October 11th, 2022. Everyone and everything from Valhalla, to the Village, to the Goblins (and even some Helthings) will be showing off their seasonal makeovers. The Valhalloween themed main menu and night defense musical tracks will also be making their return!
Along with the Festive changes, we’ve introduced improvements to the Construction system - quintupling the build limit on PC and doubling the limit on all other platforms. We're still hard at work on this system, and have taken the first steps in a direction to allow for more Constructions in a World, but have plans to improve and optimize it further with our next large update. We are actively monitoring your conversation surrounding the build system and beyond, and appreciate all your feedback!
With that said, let's get this Valhalloween party started.
Patch Notes
Valhalloween Update - QoL Changes:
Construction Limit Gauge
To help track the Build Limits within a given World, we’ve added a UI element in Survival that tracks the progress as more Constructions are placed, making it easier to recognize when you’re about to hit the cap.
Increased Build Limit
We worked hard to optimize the weight of large amounts of Constructions in a single World so that you can build the Viking home you always wanted!
We’re continuing to improve this system and monitor how it handles from a technical standpoint out in the wild, but in the meantime we’ve increased the Build Limits on all platforms as such:
Quintupled the Build Limit on PC
Doubled the Build Limit on all Nintendo Switch as well as all Xbox and PlayStation platforms
Storage Chest Sharing
Crafting Stations now have a visual radius when interacting or placing them. This radius indicates that the contents of any Storage Chest located within its bounds can be accessed for the purpose of crafting and does not need to be in the Player’s inventory. This should ease up Players’ ability to readily access Materials from any combination of Storage Chests when crafting from nearby stations.
Storage Chest Dismantling
We recognized that it was a little too easy to have your Storage Chests be dismantled while there was still precious cargo inside, losing it forever. To remedy this, we’ve made it so that you cannot dismantle a Storage Chest until all of its contents have been removed, triggering a warning if you try to do so.
Center on Shrine
When pressing the Seed of Yggdrasil shortcut on the Map, the cursor now centers on the Shrine instead of the Seed, something very useful to free up fast travel with a controller and a feature requested by the Community.
Shop Currency
Currency icons have been added to Shop categories to better inform players at a glance (E.G. Gameplay section has a Golden Horn icon)
Loading Screen Progress Bar
Loading screens now come equipped with a handy little loading bar to help communicate the progress

Valhalloween Update - Bug Fixes:
Optimized a number of performance issues caused by having a lot of Constructions active in a single World
In our efforts to better optimize mass Constructions, we fixed a number of issues in which people were loading into games and falling through the World
Fixed an issue in which Door Constructions' open/close animations would not always play
Fixed an issue with controller placement direction when rotating in Build Mode.
Fixed some instances of the ! icon staying indefinitely for new items even after you’ve viewed them.
Fixed an issue in which you could not place the Allforge once you’ve reached the Construction cap. You can now place the Allforge regardless of the cap.
Fixed an issue in which the Bow Firing animations would stagger if the player was moving forward while shooting.
Fixed a rare issue in which Players would return to the Sanctuary when emerging from an Underpass or Hideout

We are sharing a quick update regarding the release date for Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures. We have set a final release date for October 25. Since we have unexpectedly had to move the release date we have done some additional polish and bug fixes.
Now it won’t be long now before you will be growing your crops, taking care of your animals, meet the villagers of Willowdale and face of in one of the four wilderness zones.
With this update we like to take the opportunity as well to tell you something about how cooperative play works in ‘Willowdale’.
Cooperative gameplay is unlocked once you finish Quest 5 ‘Advanced Tips & Tricks’ (quest name different depending on language) and you talk to the Mayor. Beyond this quest the game opens up for local cooperative play. Now, together with your BFF you will be able to take care of the crops and the animals on the farm, traverse the town and combat dangerous creatures in the wilderness zones!
To play in local co-op you need to connect two controllers.
Important to know:
Cooperative play takes place on the same screen
Cooperative play cannot be started on Keyboard
Player 1 can chose to play on Keyboard once the co-op player has joined
Disconnecting any one the two controllers will end co-op
The user needs to connect 2 controllers for both Player 1 and Player 2
Lastly, while the game is playable using keyboard, Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures is best enjoyed using a controller.
Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures is out now on Nintendo Switch and due to be released on Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation coming October 25. For more information, please visit: http://www.lifeinwillowdale.com
We are so proud today to announce the launch of our Early Access !
You'll now be able to explore a new dungeon : The Graveyard ! (Best way to embrace the Halloween mood). We wanted our first "patch" to match with this period of the year!
Here is a list with the new features you'll be able to test :
-70 runes to combine to create dreadful combos. -A quest system designed for the fearless ones. -Different types of merchants and items to acquire. -A cosy Inn, where players can edit decks and view their own collections. -A remodelled interface following the players’ feedback collected during the demo.
We hope you will enjoy the game. Don't forget to provide your feedbacks on the official discord, or directly with the in-game tool !
Hey guys! I just wanted to give you a quick update on Project Sparrow. Most of the old core and network code I've written in the past haven't been well implemented, which led to a number of problems in the game. So, I've made the decision to redo a lot of it. This should improve the projectile/movement netcode, fix many of the game's fundamental bugs, and make adding new features simpler.
I've learnt so much over the past 3-4 years. Trial and error has been great but also led me to implementations that are not very scalable or adaptable. Whilst the game is still in its alpha stage, I figured this would be the best time to make these changes to further help the longevity of the game.
The game currently isn't up to my standards in terms of bugs and polish. When the next patch is ready, I'll throw it up on the PTR for you guys to test!
Thanks to everyone who's bought or supported the game so far! <3
Commanders! Please note our new rules regarding UHQ content in the Steam client. To avoid possible problems with UHQ texture packs (that frequently cause crashes), from now on, the Steam client will only load them if you have activated the corresponding DLCs with your Steam account and installed them. They’re all free: just don’t forget that you have to activate them to get the best picture quality, even if you used UHQ textures in the past without purchasing. Here they are:
* Added localisation support (Simplified Chinese is implemented, more to come) * Display enemy faction name on game start * Added option to hide dialogue * Tweaked shield pickup effect * Added glow to shield and magnet pickups * Fixed dash invincibility exploit (sorry) * Fixed unintentionally looping sounds
