Conquer untouched territory, amass vast wealth, and forge new reputations when Fresh Start Worlds come to Aeternum on November 2.
We’ve received a lot of requests for Fresh Start Worlds, so we are using the time between the Brimstone Sands release and the opening of these worlds to ensure you have a high quality, fresh start.
All coins, loot, and characters must originate in these servers. That means no powerful or rich Adventurers can transfer into any of the new worlds. A blank canvas complete with a revamped starting experience awaits. What will you claim?
Checkout the PTR now for an early look at our new streamlined quests, points of interest, and revised storyline. Thanks for your support! We’ll see you in Aeternum.
This week, it will be a relatively short update. Let's put our cards on the table, we are busy with administrative tasks and this requires a lot of time and resources in addition to the work we do on Bounty of One (As a reminder, our team only has two members, Bumpty and I, Kobal ). However, it's a blessing in disguise, once this charge is done, we can ensure some security for ourselves and focus on the progress of the game and, later, on other projects. On top of that, we've continued to develop content for more ambitious updates to come.
Despite this, we have not remained iddle, a new mode is now available, the Daily Struggle (the classic mode is now called "Bounty Hunted"). In this new mode, every day a hero and a new seed will be randomly selected and you, the players, will be able compete with others to achieve the highest score on it. No black market upgrades are accessible here, prepare for a real challenge if you want to climb the leaderboard! Haven't unlocked all the characters yet? No problem, in this mode you have access to all the champions and their weapons.
In addition to this new mode, we're adding a new item and reworked the balance of a few legendary items that were too strong for some and too disappointing for others.
We've also made sure the game is now fully compatible with the Steam Deck. For those who have one, I hope you will enjoy it.
We also took the opportunity to add a new language, Italian. Thanks to Piedone93 for his help in translating the game!
That's all for today, you will find the list of changes below.
Enjoy!

With the update we’ll introduce two new zones – Rust and Crystal. These zones are more challenging than the rest so you’ll need to get acquainted with Patchlantis to find them.
The Crystal Zone contains a wide variety of minerals and colours. Don’t be fooled by its beauty and shimmering colours as it can be quite hostile.
The Rust zone has sandy ground with murky water and some peculiar ancient machinery – some say it’s the remains of the ancient Patchlantian civilisation. Both zones offer exclusive monsters, pins and more for you to discover.
Take a look at the latest video breaking down what Patch Quest is for a sneak peek at the new content:
Last but not least, with this Patch Quest update the game will also be localised into the below languages:
French
Italian
German
Spanish
Korean
Simplified Chinese
Traditional Chinese
Japanese
Brazilian Portuguese
Polish

Today we are releasing a patch for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered with a focus on performance improvements, several new features, and bug fixes.
We identified a performance degradation issue that could occur on some hardware configurations when raytracing is enabled. This was caused by allocation contention between ray tracing job threads, that could result in stuttering after playing the game for a while. We have implemented changes to prevent this from happening. Our thanks goes out to the players that helped us identify the issue by providing logs and captures!
Intel XeSS is now available in the Display Settings menu. This temporal upscaling technology can be used to improve performance and works with both Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA GPUs. We have also updated AMD FSR to version 2.1.1 and will be adding NVIDIA DLSS 3 in a future patch soon. We also made changes to the video memory budgets, to allow the game to use more VRAM.
This update also adds the option to link your Steam and PlayStation Network accounts. Doing so in this game, gives you access to the Resilient Suit and Concussive Blast Gadget and you'll be granted 2 skill points. You will also receive the latest news, updates and offers from PlayStation Studios games on PC or PlayStation platforms. Account linking is optional and access to the unlocked items is only available while the accounts are linked. If you already unlocked the items and have acquired the maximum number of skill points, you will not unlock any extras.
Furthermore, this patch contains changes to improve the visual quality of ray-traced reflections and visual fixes for certain cinematics when viewed in 32:9 aspect ratio. This update also addresses a bug that could cause crashes when entering minigames on some hardware configurations.
Release Notes
Added support for Intel XeSS upscaling technology.
Updated AMD FSR to version 2.1.1.
Made changes to address performance degradation when raytracing is enabled.
Changed VRAM budgets to allow for more video memory usage.
Added Connect to PSN option in the menu.
Fixed a bug that could cause the screen to turn black when switching to DLAA after DLSS had been set to Ultra Performance mode.
Fixed corruption in ray-traced reflections at low render resolutions when screen space reflections are also enabled.
Reduced flicker in ray-traced reflections when DLSS or DLAA is enabled.
Fixed corruption in ray-traced reflections on Intel ARC GPUs.
Minor visual fixes for some cinematics in 32:9 aspect ratio.
Shortly after the launch of this patch we discovered an issue that could lead to crashes when enabling XeSS on NVIDIA or AMD hardware. We have released a hotfix to address this. You may need to restart Steam to see the update (the version number did not change).
For other issues we are currently tracking or investigating, please refer to our Known Issues. If you encounter any of these problems, please contact support to help us gather more data and insights.
There are a few days left to enjoy the thrilling demo of Scars Above, available during the Steam Next Fest, until October 10th! ⌛
What is Scars Above?
Scars Above is a challenging sci-fi third-person action adventure shooter - set on a mysterious alien world – which has players facing a plethora of challenges as they unravel an intricate and compelling storyline.
The game follows the journey of Dr Kate Ward, an astronaut – part of a team of scientists and engineers - sent to investigate the appearance of a colossal and enigmatic alien structure in Earth's orbit.

About the demo
This demo starts shortly after the prologue and continues throughout the entirety of the game’s first chapter, giving you an idea of the main game mechanics that shape Scars Above and putting your skills to the test.

Open Beta Balance and Improvement Patch - 0.8.5.580
Greetings Warlander!
Our next balance and improvement patch is now available! This includes balance adjustments, as well as some improvements based on your feedback, including adding a Report Player button to the Support screen, adding an option to turn ON/OFF camera shake, adding server selection to the options menu (players may now select the server they wish to prioritize for matchmaking - Please keep in mind that this may affect queue times), and title acquisition cutscenes can now be skipped.
Improvements to the 2-Army Battle Map Previously the catapult area and the central area were connected, easily allowing an army that captured the central area to also capture the catapult shortly afterward, making it difficult for opposing armies to mount a comeback.
Therefore, based on community feedback, as well as data obtained from the OBT, we have now separated the central area and the catapult area topographically and added new towers to the catapult routes.
We believe that this clarifies the role of each route and changes how each route influences the overall battle. Please give the map changes a try and let us know what you think.
Game Rules
Added a new mechanic that determines the spawn point of the Cataclysmic Idol based on the battle situation and player locations.
In order to increase the number of Valor Points earned by Catapult operators, we have increased the amount of Valor Points gained when destroying Ballistas and Cannons.
New objectives for each Squad Role
Assault Squads: Damage an enemy Core (more Valor Points received than Spec Ops Squads and Castle Guard that do the same)
Spec Ops Squads: Damage an enemy Core/defeat enemies near the catapult/defeat enemies around your Castle
Castle Guard Squads: Defeat enemies around the castle (more Valor Points received than Assault and Spec Ops Squads that do the same)
Adjusted the number of Valor Points earned from 800 to 1000 for each unit mission completed by Special Ops Squads.
Added a feature that allows a player to instantly Redeploy after a certain amount of time has passed from their death.
Fixed an issue in 2-Army Battles where players could earn more Valor points than usual by destroying and rebuilding the ladder attached to the wooden fort on the stone bridge.
Robot
Sped up melee attack slightly
Machine gun damage increased from 20 to 30
Cannon damage increased from 60 to 100
Hymn of War
Shortened casting time.

Added an animation for when the Core is struck by an attack.
Added a button on the support screen that leads to the Report Player page.
Added an option to turn ON/OFF camera shake.

Reversed camera controls selected in options are disregarded when using the mouse.
Other minor UI/HUD improvements.

Fixed a bug that caused a Character's style to be the same as the previously deployed character's when redeploying.
Fixed a bug where the English skill descriptions for Lunge Slash and Magic Napalm were different from their actual effects.
Fixed a bug in which key configuration changes were not reflected in the voting HUD, basic control HUD, or key prompts.
