That is it! We have just launched the game on Steam. You can now buy Ukko & Guará: Stellarbound and enjoy this beautiful journey of two friendly creatures.
First created during the Good Game Brazil Game Jam hosted by the Brazilian Embassy in Helsinki, the game had its development continued by Maqna Interactive team. For six months, part of the team was dedicated to polish, improve and add more content to the game. It was a very pleasant and enjoyfull process.
We are now delivering the game to the public, so now everybody can experience the powerfull connection between Ukko and Guará. Two creatures, living very far from one another, connected by a magical power and colaborating together to solve the puzzles.
STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ - SWTOR Community Team
We are back with our second Best View in SWTOR contest! We had a fantastic time seeing all of the entries that were submitted last time, so we’re looking forward to all the creative shots our players will be entering this year. Starting today, players can submit screenshots taken anywhere on ten select SWTOR planets. Take a screenshot of a scenic vista, a vibrant forest, a peaceful stream… and we’ll choose the screenshot that we feel captures the essence of that planet. One winner will be chosen per planet for a total of ten winning submissions.
The winning submissions will then be turned into Stronghold decorations and distributed by the Anniversary event vendor in-game! The ten eligible planets for this year’s contest are:
Alderaan
Coruscant
Dromund Kaas
Hoth
Quesh
Taris
Manaan
Rishi
Odessen
Iokath
How to Enter If you’re interested in participating in this contest, you can enter by submitting your screenshots to contests@swtor.com. You’re more than welcome to submit a screenshot for multiple planets, but please limit all submissions to only one planet per email, and please only submit one image per planet. All image submissions must follow certain guidelines:
No Player Characters in screenshot
NPCs are allowed
The in-game UI needs to be turned off.
The default command for this is Alt+Z
This includes having nameplates turned off.
Screenshots of cinematics do NOT qualify.
No additional editing done to screenshots. For example, no filters added or editing done by external tools.
Camera settings must be within intended in-game parameters.
This means not using external tools or editing game files to exceed in-game settings.
Graphics settings at Very High or Ultra
Image Size: 1920x1080 or higher resolution
The team will crop the chosen screenshots to a 4:3 format.
Image Format: JPG
In addition to those image requirements, we ask that your email include the following information:

Rules and Regulations Players have from now until October 12, 2022 to submit their screenshots! In addition to the above mentioned criteria and required information, there are a few additional rules players must follow in order for their submission to qualify:
Qualifying accounts must have been created by August 31st, 2022.

No record of in-game suspension since September 1st, 2021.
No forum suspensions since June 1st, 2022.
Character names must abide by our ToS rules.
Screenshot submissions without the required information (Account name, Character name, and Server name) provided in the same email as the screenshot will be rejected.
Each account is limited to one submission per planet.
If you want to submit a screenshot for each eligible planet, please send a separate submission per planet.
Submission emails that have more than one image attached will be disqualified.
Email subject lines must follow the “The Best View In SWTOR Contest - [insert planet name] Submission” format.
Failure to adhere to the above guidelines will result in your submission being rejected. In the event that several people submit the same, or very similar, screenshots, the screenshot submitted first will be selected as the winner, so don’t wait to email us!
Results Announcement After the SWTOR team selects the winning submissions, we’ll publish an article announcing the winners before our upcoming 2022 Anniversary event. In this announcement, we’ll reveal the winning screenshots, and credit each player (Character Name / Server) who submitted a winning screenshot.
While the winners are credited outside of the game, they will receive something special in SWTOR; a gilded version of the screenshot they submitted! While the normal versions will be available to everyone via the Anniversary event vendor as soon as the event starts in December, the gilded versions will be distributed shortly after the event starts.
We look forward to seeing what screenshots the community comes up with!

The liability in the event of breach of such an essential contractual obligation is limited to the typical contractual damage, whose occurrence could be expected by EA upon conclusion of the contract based on the circumstances known at that time. “Essential contractual obligations” are those obligations whose fulfillment is essential to enable the proper implementation of the contract, and the achievement of its purpose and whose observation you as an end consumer may rely upon. The foregoing limitations of liability shall not apply in the case of explicit guarantees by EA, in case of malice and injuries to life, body or health, as well as in the case of mandatory statutory regulations. Nothing in these Official Rules shall deprive you of the consumer protection rights granted to you by the laws of your residence that cannot be derogated from by agreement.

You understand that your Personal information shall be processed for the purposes outlined below, in accordance with EA’s Privacy and Cookie Policy, (see https://www.ea.com/legal/privacy-policy).

You agree not to assert any moral or similar rights you may have in your Entry. EA has the right, but not the obligation, to use any of the Entries.
10. General Conditions. EA reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, (or any part of it) if fraud, technical failure, human error or any other problem impairs its proper operation. In that event, EA may hold a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up to the date of suspension for any of the prizes offered. EA reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be in violation of these Official Rules (including tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest), or acting in an unsporting or disruptive manner. If you attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, it may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and EA reserves the right to seek damages from you to the extent permitted by law. EA’s failure to enforce any term in these Official Rules shall not be a waiver of that term.
11. Limitation of Liability. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, typographical errors, or by equipment or programming associated with the Contest; (2) technical failures, including without limitation network malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections; (3) unauthorized intervention in the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of Entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail or electronic communications; (6) ineligibility for any reason, including entrant’s misunderstanding of the Official Rules and requirements or the entry process. If for any reason your Entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, your sole remedy is another Entry in the Contest, if possible. EA will award no more than the stated number of prizes. If production, technical, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes to be available and/or claimed, EA reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes. Some jurisdictions prohibit the limitations described above, so some or all of them may not apply to you.
12. Disputes. Unless you are a resident of a member-state of the European Economic Area, South Korea, or Switzerland, all disputes, claims or controversies arising out of or relating to the Contest, including the marketing and promotion of the Contest ("Disputes"), shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in the United States under the laws of the United States. The only Disputes not covered by this Section are claims (i) regarding the infringement, protection or validity of your, EA's or EA's licensors' trade secrets or copyright, trademark or patent rights; and (ii) those brought in small claims court.
You and EA shall first attempt to resolve any Dispute informally for at least 30 days before initiating arbitration. The informal negotiations commence upon receipt of written notice from one person to the other ("Notice of Dispute"). The Notice of Dispute must: (a) include the full name and contact information of the complaining party; (b) describe the nature and basis of the claim or dispute; and (c) set forth the specific relief sought. EA will send its Notice of Dispute to the contact information in your Entry, or other address you provide for this purpose. You will send your Notice of Dispute to: Electronic Arts Inc., 209 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood City CA USA 94065, ATTENTION: Legal Department.
If you and EA cannot resolve a Dispute informally, you or EA may elect to have the Dispute finally and exclusively resolved by binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Commercial Arbitration Rules and, where appropriate, the AAA's Supplementary Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes ("AAA Consumer Rules"), both of which are available at the AAA website www.adr.org. Your arbitration fees and your share of arbitrator compensation shall be governed by the AAA Rules and, where appropriate, limited by the AAA Consumer Rules. The arbitration may be conducted in person, through the submission of documents, by phone or online. The arbitrator shall make a decision in writing, and shall provide a statement of reasons if requested by either party. The arbitrator must follow applicable law, and any award may be challenged if the arbitrator fails to do so. You and EA may litigate in court to compel arbitration, to stay proceeding pending arbitration, or to confirm, modify, vacate or enter judgment on the award entered by the arbitrator.
YOU AND EA AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator shall not consolidate another person's claims with your claims and shall not preside over any type of representative or class proceeding. The arbitrator may award declaratory or injunctive relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party's individual claim.
If you live in the United States, arbitration will take place at any reasonable location convenient for you. For residents outside the United States, arbitration shall be initiated in the County of San Mateo, State of California, United States of America, and you and EA agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of that court, in order to compel arbitration, to stay proceeding pending arbitration, or to confirm, modify, vacate or enter judgment on the award entered by the arbitrator.
If the arbitrator rules in your favor on the merits of any claim you bring against EA and issues you an award that is greater in monetary value than EA's last written settlement offer made before EA makes its final written submissions to the arbitrator, then EA will: pay you 150% of your arbitration award, up to $5,000 USD (or equivalent in your national currency) over and above your arbitration award, and reimburse the arbitration fees that you paid to the AAA.
For residents of Australia: The Contest is governed by the laws of the United States, provided that you will not be deprived of your statutory rights and legal protection as a consumer granted by the laws of Australia. The court of jurisdiction shall be your country of residence.
As announced earlier this month, GROUND BRANCH was set to become available on GeForce NOW — NVIDIA's subscription-based cloud gaming service — this September.
And just as announced, players can stream GROUND BRANCH (via Steam) on GFN as of this Thursday! A pretty cool opportunity for those without a beefy PC setup to try GB out.
We are running a Deceive Inc. Technical Alpha test Friday September 30th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm ET. This test will be run via Steam, but will REQUIRE an Epic Game Store account (this does not require the EGS client to be installed) for this test. Later in development, the need for this account will be removed, but please make sure to have your Epic account created in advance of this test.
-Added a new special enemy, the Hunter. The Hunter turns invisible while moving and hunts down players. Once he is close enough, he turns visible and starts attacking the players. -Added some more detail and sound when killing goblins whit gore turned off so that players can more easily tell when a goblin is dead. -Changed the spawning mechanics so that special enemies have a chance to spawn as long as there are enemies alive on the map. -The game will now pause in single player games when you open the ESC menu. -When a player dies in single player games, they now get 1 automatic revive. -Goblin archers now have a chance to drop arrows. -All spell books can now auto-fire by holding the attack button. -Increased the damage, tick speed, and length of the incendiary grenade. -Fixed healing when right-clicking on a healing item in your inventory so it now closes the inventory and starts the quick heal meter. -Fixed sound being muted sometimes when changing scenes. -Fixed the "Gore" and "Game Tips" toggles not working in the Options menu.
Our game is now available on Steam in Early Access!
I would like to answer some questions right now: - Game over? The story of the first part came to a logical end, but we did not have time to implement all the ideas that we had planned, so we decided to release the game in early access.
- If I buy the game on steam, will I get all updates for the full version? Yes, future updates of the first part will be released on steam at the same time as the patreon version.
- Why such a price? We didn't want to deviate from our pricing policy, so we decided to stick to our standard price for a new version of the game (access). Also in the incentive in the game were the events "Halloween" and "Christmas" - They will not be released as separate DLC, they are included in the cost of the game in the incentive.
- What's next for us? At the moment, we have already started working on one big DLC for the first part, it will reveal to us the story of the mysterious past of the "Sea Devil". The DLC will be quite intense both in terms of scenes and plot twists.
Also, in parallel, we will correct and complete everything that we planned with the first part.
After the completion of the DLC, we will present to you the developments (and they already exist) for the continuation of the game (ie the second part).
Also, I want to thank everyone who took part in the development, all the patrons who have been with us all this time! Without you, we would not have reached the release of the first part of the game.
We’ve made the Patreon post regarding SCP-106's ‘soft rework’ public! The post showcases upcoming changes to SCP-106 in the 12.0 ‘Mimicry’ update.
Not included in the Patreon post are the changes being made to SCP-106’s Pocket Dimension. All items that have been dropped in the Pocket Dimension will have a chance of randomly respawning back in the Facility. The chances of the items respawning in the Facility are based on its rarity. For example, items such as Medkits have a smaller chance of respawning, compared to the Micro H.I.D. Further information will be revealed in the future.
SCP-106 has received large changes to most of its abilities. The playstyle is shifting to better compliment SCP:SL and, most importantly, to make it a more enjoyable character to play.
In 11.0, SCP-106 is the most inconsistent of its class for a variety of reasons. SCP-106 suffers from hitbox disparity. Until recent updates it had difficulty confirming kills, especially later in a round. This was due to the non-random nature of the pocket dimension. SCP-106 is also the only SCP that can be eliminated without taking any damage. Whilst prior patches have attempted to fix some of these issues, we’re now taking a more proactive approach to remedying some of these problems. Meanwhile, we’re focused making SCP-106 more intuitive and impactful.
Core changes, and Vigor To start, one of the big changes made is that SCP-106 now has a resource meter, much like the human classes’ stamina mechanic. The Health and Hume Shield values shown here are accurate to our current round of internal testing. Our plan is to give SCP-106 250 Hume Shield and 2000 Health whilst also removing his bullet resistance; this makes him less impenetrable, which compliments his new abilities.
A new, spooky blue bar!
SCP-106 uses this resource, Vigor, to utilise his two new abilities — Stalk and Hunter’s Atlas.
Stalk Stalk is a new movement mechanic added to SCP-106’s abilities. By default, Stalking is activated using the shift key, requiring at least 25% Vigor to sink into the floor. Whilst Stalking, SCP-106 is invulnerable and can move at an increased speed. Vigor is used to keep Stalking, draining at a rate of five Vigor per second. SCP-106 can choose to resurface at any time; playing an animation and sound effect (which is not included in the referenced videos). SCP-106 is also forcibly ejected from Stalking mode if its Vigor reaches zero.
Stalking is the only way for SCP-106 to regain Hume Shield, motivating players to ambush human targets, instead of the ‘bullet-shield’ gameplay currently favoured. The ‘ambush’ playstyle is counterbalanced by SCP-106 not being able to see all players. When SCP-106 attacks a player, he inflicts them with a ‘Traumatised’ status effect, which lasts four minutes. ‘Traumatised’ players can be seen whilst Stalking. Non-’Traumatised’ players can be seen by SCP-106 whilst it’s Stalking if they are injured. Players who have taken more damage can be seen from further away.
Hunter’s Atlas The Hunter’s Atlas gives SCP-106 the ability to flank and retreat. This is a new ability, which also uses the Vigor resource. By pressing tab, SCP-106 can open a minimap, which shows rooms directly connected to his current location. This minimap expands as the Vigor bar fills, to a maximum of a five-room radius. Clicking on any room will drain the Vigor bar, with larger distances draining more Vigor, and SCP-106 will teleport to the chosen location, using the current portal-teleport animation.
Femur Breaker Removal
After careful consideration, the Femur Breaker will be removed in Version 12.0. This change has been made as the focus for this rework has been about removing inconsistency from SCP-106. Due to the Femur Breaker’s accessibility, many players dislike playing as SCP-106. In some games, it is activated early, and, in others, nobody attempts to make a sacrifice. It’s somewhat outside of the SCP-106 player’s control, as the SCP team can be unaware that the relevant keycard is in play.
There have been experiments with a system where multiple sacrifices are required to recontain SCP-106, with each sacrifice giving progressively powerful debuffs to SCP-106 However, this still retained the inconsistency and a lack of counterplay. The Femur Breaker may be added to a future version of the game after an extensive rework.
Entrance Zone Checkpoint Changes
Our Level Design team has taken interest in areas of the map that are considered ‘choke points’. These are places where a team can camp, forcing their enemies to bypass them if they want to go deeper in the Facility. The Entrance Zone Checkpoint has been identified as the biggest ‘choke point’. SCPs blocking the Entrance Checkpoint can deny Class-D and Scientists from escaping, whilst also hindering armed personnel from accessing the Facility. This is being addressed in two ways.
Firstly, the Entrance Zone layouts are being reworked to allow for two checkpoints. This prevents situations where more than three SCPs can co-ordinate to block human classes, forcing them to split their resources.
Secondly, the Checkpoint room has been reworked. This makes it more favourable for human classes. Some art renders are attached below. Nothing shown is the final product and is subject to change.
Here’s a brief video showcasing the changes. This video is taken from a build of the game where the room is a ‘grey-box’, meaning it has not been textured yet.
Hey everyone, it's time for a new update and some news regarding the 0.5.0 update. First let me start by saying this is a 2 part update. This is the first part of that update, and 0.5.0b will be following in the next month.
Here's everything included with this update :
Added sound effects to class abilities.
Buffed player movement speed.
Added in the Berserker class.
Added in support for all 16 achievements.
Added in an easter egg for the Mission Impossible achievement.
Fixed a bug where multi-projectile ammo based weapons did not consume ammo when fired.
Fixed an issue where remapping keybinds for menus would instantly open up the menu.
Fixed a bug where the keybind system would state there are overlapping keybinds when there are not.
Fixed ability cooldown text being off center.
Fixed a bug where the keybind remapper was still active even after setting the new keybind.
Fixed mouse sensitivity starting at 0 for first time installs/playthroughs.
So that's all for this part of 0.5.0, now for the second part expect the trinket system, more enemies with better variety, weapon quality system, and updated zone designs. Overall, I hope everyone enjoys the new changes even if it's quite a small update. I wanted to get out the bug fixes more than anything and figured that I could also go ahead and give everyone a taste of some of the changes coming soon.
