Freedom Planet 2 - SpaceyBat

Sabrina here! I'm the producer of the Freedom Planet series, and I wanted to personally thank all of our players and fans for making today's launch such an incredible success. As of writing, we are still #1 on Steam's New and Trending tab on the front page and holding steady at around 900 concurrent players. We also want to thank you for the wonderful comments we've received, and for alerting us of bugs and other issues that slipped through the crevices. We'll get started on addressing those tomorrow after some hard earned rest!

I also want to thank my fellow programmers, artists, level designers, and testers on the development team from the bottom of my heart. They have done an incredible amount of work over the final days leading up to release and their help is the reason we were able to launch today in such a good state. There are many platformers out there, but there is no game quite like Freedom Planet 2, and we all built it together piece by piece over the past 7 years.

September 14th Edition Update Notes (Official edition)

1. Open equipment recasting and melting functions
- Smelting function: can melt gold and dark gold quality equipment into fine iron

6. Difficulty 5 delay: Difficulty 5 is currently available in the latest beta (update on September 8th), but it has received a lot of feedback from players about serious obstruction issues. Considering that the official version hopes to have a more stable experience, Difficulty 5, which was originally expected to be released this week, will be postponed to next week. We hope that various feedback problems can be cleared through this week, such as abnormal process of evil wire and abnormal cultivation of evil wire exclusive teammates. The latest version will be updated in beta this week to continue the verification, and an update will be arranged as soon as the issue is resolved

7. Progress of Creative Workshop: The function of the first version of workshop has been in internal testing, and will enter the beta version of experience server as soon as possible, and open to everyone in this month!

Problem feedback and repair:
1. Fixed the problem of Hongye incorrectly configuring two exclusive martial arts, keeping Red Flame Blade
2. Fixed the apprentice inheritance anomaly
3. Fix the problem that the ancient forging blank does not recover the Legend of Lizi normally after the task starts
4. Fixed the issue of abnormal casting range after level 25
5. Fixed some abnormal martial arts effects
6. Corrected the wrong judgment of the exclusive martial arts level when Guanyin figure was comprehending martial arts, which resulted in the failure to break through normally in some cases

What are Faction Battles?

This limited time event has you choose a themed faction to compete in!
Join your favorite faction and get great items!

The schedule will be announced in game.

How to Join

First, talk to the [Faction Battle Counter] in the [Central Area] in the game and select the faction to join.
When selecting a faction, you will receive a limited participation prize!
When it's time for a faction match, join the [Faction Battles] in the [Event Battle] tab!
At the end of the event period, the Faction with the most points wins.
