SMS Elbing is the second of two German WWI-era cruisers of the Pillau-class, previously ordered by the Imperial Russian Navy which were seized at the outbreak of The Great War. Soon, SMS Elbing will reinforce the early German cruiser lineup as it makes its way to War Thunder as part of the Drone Age major update!

In War Thunder, SMS Elbing will be a new light cruiser docking at rank III of the German bluewater fleet following the release of the next major update. Becoming one of the earliest light cruisers new captains will be able to unlock in the German naval tree, SMS Elbing will help smooth out the transition for captains moving up from destroyers to larger and more powerful vessels.
Upon obtaining SMS Elbing, captains will immediately take note of the much heavier firepower present on this ship when compared to most German destroyers they may have captained before. Instead of 12.7 cm guns, captains now have access to eight of the much more powerful 15 cm cannons, thus enabling them to not only deal greater damage to smaller vessels but also to effectively take on other cruisers with armor piercing ammunition. However, it’s worth noting that only four guns can be brought to bear on a broadside, with the fifth gun enabled at proper course angles. In addition, SMS Elbing’s arsenal is also complemented by four 52 mm utility cannons as well as a pair of 500mm torpedo launchers, mounted on each side of the ship respectively.
Fun Fact: SMS Elbing was the first German cruiser to be armed with 15 cm guns.
In contrast to SMS Elbing’s excellent firepower, the warship’s protection remains a bit lackluster. This is the first armored deck cruiser to the game - she lacks the armored belt, keeping the armor inside the hull as a 20mm horizontal deck with 40mm side plates. This layout protects the ship’s vital modules from salvos of HE rounds up to 150mm (6”), and AP rounds of up to 105mm (6”). The steering room has much better protection of 80 mm of armor.
However, thanks to its rather modest displacement and a powerful propulsion system, capable of generating 30,000 horsepower, SMS Elbing can reach a sound top speed of 27.5 kts (51 km/h). As a result, aspiring captains of this warship won’t need to worry about lagging behind their allies but captains also shouldn’t expect to lead the charge either. Yet, after considering the ship’s protection, this may not be such a bad thing after all. If anything, sticking closer to its allies will boost SMS Elbing’s odds of repelling an air attack given it lacks its own AA battery.
SMS Elbing is already headed for War Thunder naval battles and is expected to dock at player ports with the release of the next major update - Drone Age. What's New
QOL: Addition of a Luminosity parameter in Settings.
Improvement: I changed the Steam effect in the bathroom (Scene 3 VN) to make it less aggressive.
Improvement: Additions of (many) new moaning SFXs on scene 2 & 3.
Hope you've been enjoying Knotwords! We've made a lot of updates, big and small.
The biggest thing you may notice is a new Share feature - try it out!
If you play with "correct" word feedback, a big new change is that we no longer allow alternative solutions - so it will only consider "correct" the original permutation we created.
We've also made a lot of stability updates behind the scenes, and fixed some lingering issues with Achievements. You can also turn off the updates about streaks if you want in the settings menu.
Added a new battle system mode called 'Wait Mode' (the normal battle system mode has been called 'Active Mode'). It's available only when playing against the computer. When 'Wait Mode' is enabled the game automatically pauses after all moves in the queue have resolved. This is to give new players a chance to read and learn moves without being overwhelmed by the pace of the game.
Free for Life is now available on PC and Xbox One (it will be released on PS4 soon!) We've listened to your desires and are seeking to deliver with a variety of features and QoL improvements.

Prisoner Aging: Long-term inmates will now be affected by the passage of time, becoming older, calmer, weaker, and finally dying from old age.
Guard Ranks: A number of your guards will be able to gain promotions, increasing both their stats and also their wages. When promoted all the way to being a specialist officer they will then also be trusted with a firearm.
Building Guides: A few options have been added to make your design process a little easier. A grid overlay can be captivated along with co-ordinates for each map cell, along with a new tooltip listing the dimensions when drawing your buildings.
Custom Quick Builds: Using the clone tool you can now save sections of your prison for later use.
Event Log: A log of events has been added to list any happenings within your prison, with each prisoner also having their own individual logs available from their menu.
Tidying Utilities: Utilities have been separated into three groups for electrical, water, and wiring items, to make setting them up easier.
Regime Updates: Regime options have been updated with some existing ones changed and new ones added to lower prisoner traffic in dangerous areas such as canteens and showers. Once prisoners have finished eating or showering they can now continue to either Freetime or Lockup afterwards.
Scheduler Updates: The program scheduler has been updated to make the management of your programs easier and clearer.
Create Prison Menu Updates: The Create Prison menu has also been updated with settings now separated between those linked to base game and DLCs. With a new option to save your preferences to make the creation process smoother and faster.
Policy Menu: The policy menu will also save any changes made upon being closed, with these changes being saved as your preference for any new prisons.

A new update, 1.4.3k has arrived! We’ve fixed the cutscene with Thall the Wallflower and the inquisitors, some issues with the 3rd DLC islands; prices, and the assortment of abyssal merchants, and some mechanical bugs as well.
Please keep in mind that a new update can potentially break your mode, but 1.3.7 version is still available in the beta branch!
