CHANGES
  • Camera zooms out more during battle. Enemies do not attack until camera is fully zoomed out.
  • Void Eye - Only spawn from bosses that spot you, not from normal enemies anymore.
  • You can now cancel an attack with block at any time.
  • It is now possible to gun slap while reloading.
  • World Expansion - Move to the start area of the camp. Instead of unlocking by paying Void Fragments, it is unlocked after beating the first world.
  • World Tokens - You do not have to clear Antlantis for another World Token trail to spawn anymore. World Token trails are a bit longer and are less likely to stop short.
  • Pets - Currency cost is cheaper. Does not pick currency cost unless the player has enough to pay (or there are no other possible option).
  • Worlds now have two more small areas. Porko Land has one more Enterable, while The North has two more Rnterables. Antlantis has two Enterables during looping.
  • First aggroed boss is the one that decides the music, instead of the corruption music of the world playing when multiple aggro bosses are active in the same area.
  • New sound effects and visual effects when ammo and health spawns. As well as when a health ghost hits the player.
  • New cool hit effects for falling pillars in Porko Land.
  • Blooming Echino - Removed from the boss spawn pool due to being too similar to Echino. Might be brought back if other worlds get boss variations.
  • Darker look on some ground tiles, like in the Imperiant areas.
  • Poison mushrooms in The North break into fewer pieces but land closer together.
  • Loop Portal Minigame - Will ask for more items to be sacrificed for each loop.
  • Player weapons do not play idle breakers during battle.
  • All Beacon turrets can now drop from a broken Beacon.
POWERUP CHANGES
  • Beacon Barrage - Now shoots during battle instead of only on activation.

BALANCING
  • Shop prices are cheaper.
  • Player sells powerups and weapons at a slightly higher price than they buy them.
  • Room Challenges - Upgrade rewards are a bit more likely.
  • Traffic Light Challenge - Clearer tell before red light, longer green light. Red light allows player movement for a short moment right after switch.
  • Walls are Lava Challenge - Player has to touch a wall for a bit longer before you fail the challenge.
  • Nordunn Challenge - Now waits a bit after the player has entered the room before starting to spawn runes.
POWERUP BALANCING
  • Soul Boot - More souls.
  • Soul Rehand - More souls.
  • Cloudy Dodge - Does not upgrade float time as much.
WEAPON BALANCING
  • All launcher weapons now do a tiny version of their explosion if they penetrate.
  • Battlerattle - More max ammo.
  • Shotgunner - More max ammo.
  • Antilauncher - Now 'Ultra Rare' instead of 'Rare'.
NPC BALANCING
  • Enemies and bosses now attack based on a queue like system. The speed of the queue scales with difficulty. This should help with battles that felt too chaotic before!
  • Void Puppeteer - Now spawns all bosses at the same time when in a new area.

FIXES
  • Fixed big piles of Shards not falling out correctly from enterables.
  • Fire Death Challenge - Fixed a bug where some critters caused fire projectiles incorrectly as soon as you entered the area.
  • Loop Portal - Fixed a bug causing it to turn into a normal World End Portal if leaving the area before it spawned.
POWERUP FIXES
  • Companions - Fixed a bug causing them to get stuck after battle.
  • Pollen Dash - Now possible to dash during 'attack pause' time.
  • Bat Bullet Lotion - Fixed bats created by lotion being able to trigger another lotion, leading to infinite bats.
WEAPON FIXES
  • XXL - Now tumbles the one that shot the bullet as expected.
NPC FIXES
  • Fixed a bug with NPCs causing them to travel too far after destroy a wall during a movement attack.
UI FIXES
  • Camp Portal Menu - Now changes UI color as soon as you change the color in the menu.

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis - knotto
So, we finally published the Steam page for Undead Horde 2: Necropolis. Welcome! We wanted to show a lot of varied game content from our different environments before going live so it took us until early September to reach this point. I'll start our updates with a brief history of the project and where we are at this point and what we're doing next.

Undead Horde is our second best selling title to date after DYSMANTLE, so making a sequel has been on the table for some time. Also, after many of us working over four years on DYSMANTLE (and some of us are still working on DYSMANTLE) and after releasing Skeletal Avengers, we wanted to do a project which we could finish in a bit over a year or so. With this background we decided it would be a suitable time to continue the Undead Horde saga a bit!

In early 2022 we started working. The goal was to create a game which is definitely Undead Horde, but with enough changes to offer something fresh.

There are three major differences with UH2 compared to UH1. I'll outline them here so you know better what to expect.

The first major difference are the raise mechanics. In UH1 you could raise only the exact unit you just killed. In this game we have something called the "Raise Wheel". You can assign 1-5 units onto the wheel and then decide on the go which unit you want to raise from enemy remains. Enemies leave behind remains which are the source of your undead warriors.



The second major difference is the game hub. In UH1 it was called the crypt but in UH2 you get a whole city called Necropolis. In the beginning the city is razed by the living. In the process they also capture all the denizens into soul jars and take them back to the lands of the living. These were just some innocent souls frolicking happily in the Necropolis after their death. However, the living invented this thing called Soul Jar which they use to capture the souls back. The souls are not happy for this: Who would like to live in a jar for all eternity.

In any case - the player's goal is to rebuild the Necropolis and bring back its denizens. Each additional denizen can be assigned to a building which can yield various benefits like new abilities, perks or stat bonuses. They also make the city more lively as they walk around.



The third major difference is connected to the first. Since the connection between the raised unit and killed unit is broken, we are now able to create a unique set of minions for the player. There are over a dozen types which are all unique. They include your standard skeletons but then extend to more exotic units like hierophants, liches and death knights.



So those were the three major differences. There are more, but these are the most obvious. They make the game feel fresh as even the core gameplay changes a bit when you can decide which kind of undead you raise instead of just mirroring the enemy throughout the whole game.



Currently we're working on polishing the first chapter on the game and and some parts of the second and third chapters. This will most likely be the extent of our early access release.   • Added a shuffle pick button for "A la Carte" page
  • Fixed struggling out of a stun lock being too easy
  • Fixed Team Stats not updating in Sumo Mode when playing in Teams
  • Tuned the blocks in Smash mode to contrast with background and provide better visibility
  • Added ability to move seal pups around in Survival mode to add a new level of complexity
  • Seal pups now destroy the rest of the grime if they get too stressed

3. Fix the bug that Bounty Quest cannot display the state of auto-dispatch
4. Fix the problem of incorrect description of some items
5. Fix the bug of the Ancient of Echo interface
6. Fixed the bug that killing monsters in the Misty Mountains could not gain EXP
7. Fix the problem that the low drop rate of the Mythical gear in the Misty Mountains
8. Fix the problem that the number of diamonds in Journey Package, Training Package, Bond Pack is incorrectly configured
9. Fix the problem that killing monsters in Misty Mountains does not get rage
10. Fixed the bug that the Crit Strike of Normal attack of Pure White Wing was abnormal

Extra instructions:
At present, there may be a data error problem when logging in to the game, and players need to exit and login in again to get data back to normal.
We are working on the issue, it's expected to be fixed next week and we'll send compensation. Sorry for the inconvenience.
