Project Arrhythmia - Vitamin Games
Hello, it's been a while! I think some of you have concerns and questions regarding Project Arrhythmia that need answering.

Where's Story Mode?
I've been working on PA for several years now. It feels like it's been dragging on. I am sorry about this. Some of it has been my fault, and some of it is not but know the story mode is still one of my top priorities for the game. I didn't work on a game for years only to abandon it a mile before the finish line! Story mode is coming, and it's actively being developed. No exact date but It has to be done by around April of next year to give you an idea.

What's going on with the editor?
The PA editor has been to be honest a MESS. It has 3 different main versions now all with their own user bases. I have royally underestimated the amount of work it would take to redo the editor from scratch. That's right you heard me! I think many misunderstood the newest version of the editor to be a waste of time skin upgrade rather than a full retooling. Fundamentally editor 2.0 is almost entirely new assets and code compared to the legacy editor. You're probably still wondering... why? Well to be blunt the old editor's code was such a disaster I genuinely hit a wall in developing for it. Updating anything in the legacy editor was like playing with a house of cards. The new editor? It's a joy to add new stuff and iterate on things like fixing bugs. I promise I know the wait has been painful and annoying but it will be worth it! Expect a proper update soon.

Will there be a mobile / console port of PA?!
Yes a mobile port (and later console ports) of the game are being actively worked on. It won't feature everything the PC version does, but I'm working on trying to get as much of PA squeezed in there as possible!

Okay but how will custom levels work on mobile / console?
I'm currently trying to sort out a way to allow for cross-platform custom levels. I might not launch these versions with that functionality, but it's planned if I'm able to. More on this to come.

How will cross-platform levels work?
I'm currently working on adding epic game's online services to the game. It will be where you upload levels if you want them available on all platforms. The Steam version of the game will always support steam workshop but moving forward in an update soon it will support epic online services too.

Okay what the hell is Kawa Entertainment?!
Kawa Entertainment is a Vtuber Agency I started as a side project! For those that worry it's now my focus I'll be straight with you. It is not. Kawa Entertainment doesn't even exist as a company it's all under the Vitamin Games LLC. It's always been Vitamin Games and always will be.

Why haven't we heard from you as often lately?
To be honest I've just been too dang busy. It pains me greatly I can't interact with yall as often as I like. But know I do still regularly check the discord and sometimes tweet updates on my twitter!

New Content

A new event, ‘The Barrows Rise’ has been added to the game. In this event, Dark Magic gathers and stirs the dead in their graves! Ancient Warriors swarm across the old world, awakened by Necromancers practicing their cursed magical arts.

Across the Old World, hordes of Skeleton Warriors will be appearing at levels 15, 25 and 35, clad in their corroded armour, their lifeless hand’s still gripping the weapons they held in life. These skeletal warriors obey their Vampire masters.

These new high-level Armies will potentially drop Accursed Sword Shards which can be used in turn to craft 2 additional pieces of the Barrow armour set, Helm and Greaves.


Event Changes and Improvements

A new version of the Undivided Warpstone Devour event has been added in which Harald Hammerstorm is featured prominently within the tier and top list rewards.

Added new equipment to the Runesmith event:

  • Corrupted Runic Gauntlets
  • Corrupted Runic Axe
  • Corrupted Runic Boots
Added new equipment to Barrow Set:
  • Greaves of the Barrow
  • Helm of the Barrow

New High-Level Greenskin Armies have been added to the Greenskin Aggression event, these are available to battle at levels 15, 25, and 35.


Keep Skin Improvements
Improved the following Keep skins by adding additional buffs when equipped:
  • Blighted Stronghold, reduced Healing Resource Costs.
  • Exalted Hellcannon Fortress, added Undivided Ranged Damage.
  • Gore Fountain, added Troop Training Speed.

Crafted Item Improvements
  • Reworked all existing items to no longer only have stats on them that only boost the player’s Champion, in all situations, they will now boost everything within the march if the Champion is present.

Quality of Life Improvements
  • Blocked players' messages will no longer be visible in World Chat.
  • Added the Skull of the Damned as a tradable currency at the Raider’s Market.
  • Players can recruit multiple of the same warlord at once
  • Added a toggle to select whether “March Gather Yield” selects enough units to fully clear resource tiles or leave a small amount remaining.
  • The number of Warpstone on the leaderboard placings for the Legendary Warlord challenges has been adjusted to allow more challenges to be run during these special weekend events.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a display issue where Warpstone spent on Warlord Bundles in the premium shop would not update on the challenge panel until the game was restarted.

- Fixes to the spawning animation - Sybil's feet or body will not appear (or appear less) when spawning from a thin platform.
- New leaning back animation. This alleviates the problem of the leaning orientation being misaligned with Sybil's "default" orientation when the former overrides the latter, especially if you slap.
- Sybil will not transition into an idle animation while leaning.
- Fixes in animation transitions.
Pipe Dream
- It's not possible anymore from the end of the level to jump in a certain way and get cheesed.

First off I want to start these notes with a question for the community.

What are your thoughts on the Vision mode? I am considering removing it, so you can no longer track the monsters so easily, and adding more monsters in each match.
I feel like this feature does not fit very well with the theme of the game and it should be removed.

To the notes, Pushing out a patch to fix a major issue with network players that happens when clients are 3+km away from the hosting player, It was somehow missed during testing. (Big thanks to "furupoweru" for the bug report :)
This is now resolved.

The other big change is all of the weapons have now been re-balanced.
Most assault rifles are 4 body shots for a kill. Most Pistols are 5 body shots, SKS is 3, SVD is 2, Shotgun is 1. This is all of course dependent on where on the body you hit the character and what armor they have. Head shots are x2 damage for example, so go for those head shots!

Still working on many other features in the background, I will inform you when the time is right!

Please note; Performance may struggle on the machine hosting the match if there is a lot of AI, AI is very CPU intensive, that coupled with very very long draw distances, if you are hosting a game make sure your PC is up to it.
(sniper heaven, I've had a kill at 2.5k using the SVD, try beat that, i will try add some more details in the map to measure this :P)

The "To-Do List" quest system and the S.E.E. hint system are now fully implemented!

Open your minimap with Enter and swap from Free Roam Mode to the To-Do List (or TDL) with Tab to see a variety of quests and pieces of information you've learned about them. Quests will auto-complete when their resolution circumstances are met, but will continue to appear under the 'Resolved' view of the TDL.

I'd recommend starting a new game to get the best experience of the system. Note that some hints won't always be hearable! You won't get hints for completed quests, of course, but you also might not be able to get some until you progress a quest far enough (try visiting a S.E.E. kiosk after defeating Waking Fossil!) or until you've already encountered the quest elsewhere.

21 quests, 75 entries, and 15 hints have been added to the game, or about 2,500 words all together! Enjoy!
