Queen's Wish 2: The Tormentor is the second chapter in the indie, epic Queen’s Wish Trilogy, just released for Windows and Mac.

You are royalty of the Empire of Haven. A routine diplomatic mission in a brutal, barbarian land has turned into bloody chaos. Fight to calm your subjects, or hunt for a way to set them free.

Explore a vast nation full of cities, forts, and dungeons. Fight clever, carefully designed turn-based battles. Deal with misbehaving vassals with bribery, diplomacy, or violence. Build new forts and customize them, choosing among upgrades that give your adventurers powerful bonuses.

Queen's Wish 2: The Tormentor is coming to Windows and Macintosh at the end of Summer, 2022. Progress you make in the demo will carry over to the full game, so you won't need to start over!

The livestream is done by the developer, who has been making retro indie fantasy adventures for 28 years. Come see the game, ask questions, and hear a variety of cranky opinions about the game industry.

BUGS:

Highlighted Fixes:

• Fixed being able to pull out the slingshot and walk onto balance beams, which would cause players to get temporarily stuck in a first-person view.
  
• Fixed some sillohuette outlines not appearing in front of other graphics when in Active Sense.
  
• Fixed some walls and ceilings in The Pantry that would cause the camera to appear to look out of the map when rubbed against.
  
• Fixed the lift platform in Pontederia sometimes getting stuck at a 90-degree angle.

This update fixes some bugs and minor issues and adds one new command for modders. The Map Editor has also been improved and now shows where the snow usually is as the map is being edited.

General

• Fix for tracer particles showing up on melee weapons
  
• Assassination attacks now counts as if made from a range of 1 (awe can now affect assassin)
  
• Gold Income overview scrollbar didn't work
  
• Can no longer see cloaked squares from the sky plane
  
• Immortal Beings can no longer cast the twiceborn ritual
  
• Rakshasi is no longer prevented to cast Grand Mastery by Raksharishi
  
• Fix for some incorrect ability descriptions
  
• Fix for disintegrate targeting a large friendly unit
  
• Same name units are now always merged in the transfer units stats
  
• Ceremony in the Deep can now also be made on deep sea gem deposits

AI

• AI didn't take archers in enemy forts into account properly, fixed.

Modding

Hot Wheels Park

Seasonal Championships have a trio of car rewards, including the 1985 Ford RS200 Evolution, the 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint and the 1972 Reliant Supervan III. What’s more, the Hot Wheels Park has another icy championship featuring the 1988 BMW M5 as a reward.
