In the last devlog we shared our optimistic belief that Ambulance Simulator's playtest will be available soon, around the same time we launched playtests for Cruise Ship Manager and Offroad Mechanic Simulator. Moreover, we informed you that the full game should be released this year.
While we had every intention to do so, after lengthy internal discussions we chose to cancel the playtests for now and delay the release date of Ambulance Simulator to 2023. While the main mechanics are implemented and functional, as a whole, the game doesn't present the quality and realism that we aim for.
Ambulance Simulator is a very big and ambitious project. Between a living, breathing city and realistic medical treatments, there's a lot of work to do and even more polish to apply. We already had to tone down the realism of certain medical procedures to ensure that the game's pacing is fun for everybody. We also worked hard on optimization and got some very satisfying results.
But there are always more things to sort out, such as patients not laying down properly, physics acting weird, or medical procedures that need tweaking to get the right balance of realism and fun. Delaying the game gives us time to address all of these issues and ensure that Ambulance Simulator can be exactly what you hoped for.
Accidents happen, as shown below. ...needless to say, in the final version of the game you won't be able to just drive over the pedestrians like this. But we are curious - what do you think is the best solution for this issue, how should the game react when the player hits a pedestrian? Do you want us to be realistic (hitting a pedestrian = game over), semi-realistic (hitting a pedestrian = you are fined but can continue), or completely unrealistic? Share your suggestions on our official Discord, we would love to hear them.
The AI is less likely to accept ultimatums, and very unlikely to accept another ultimatum if it's recently accepted one. This should make it less straightforward to bully yourself to victory.
Losing a city that doesn't have a ritual site no longer cancels the final ritual.
When you get an ultimatum or offer, there is now a button to go to the other empire's capital.
Increased cooldown time of some espionage actions.
Settings now accessible from more places, and settings button is a gear icon instead of the word "Settings".
You can now adjust the tooltip delay in the settings.
Fixed airship command panel positioning when dyslexic fonts are active.
Fixed graphical glitch in dyslexic fonts.
Fixed some multiplayer desyncs.
Fixed some crashes.
Fixed some missing text.
The soundtrack now includes the eight new tracks from the update.
Addendum: Version 1.1.0.4 fixes a performance problem that this update introduced.
Today we have some really cool news to share with you! As you might already know, 10 years ago we have released the first game in the series - FLASHOUT 3D. Since it's the 10th anniversary of the first game and FLASHOUT 3 is coming this year, we wanted to celebrate these two facts with you. Especially that FLASHOUT 3D was never present on Steam - it was being sold in boxes (on DVD) and the digital version was limited to just a few online stores. The game was also present on the OUYA platform (well... you probably forgot that such console even existed - however FLASHOUT 3D and FLASHOUT 2 were one of the most popular games on this hardware) and on mobile devices.
Nevertheless, as we wrote above it was never present on Steam - an oversight that needs to be fixed. And we decided to fix it properly, so we took the classic, 10-years old game and remastered it a bit. Now FLASHOUT 3D offers updated graphics, full gamepad support (with vibrations), a new UI, better controls and much more! The great news is that we will offer FLASHOUT 3D: Enhanced Edition 100% FREE OF CHARGE! That's right, when the Enhanced Edition releases later this month (September 2 to be precise) it will be free! And of course no microtransactions, no sirs!
So if you don't want to miss this moment and would like to travel to the past and play one of classic AG racers, wishlist FLASHOUT 3D: Enhanced Edition now!
First of all we would like to confirm that we are on track with the production and right now we are focused on polishing the Main Menu. Here's a small sneak peek of what we have come up this far, but it's still work in progress, so you will see the final version closer to the release.
We have also told you, that we were planning to add a Split Screen mode allowing you to race against a friend or member of your family on one computer. We know this is a bit of a retro feature, but in our opinion a feature that is missed. So we can confirm that the Split Screen mode is ready and working like a charm! We also thought that it would be cool if you could choose if you want to split the screen horizontally or vertically. That's a pretty nice feature if you own an ultrawide monitor, giving you more horizontal space. So here's how it looks like:
Horizontal Split Screen (best choice for 16:9 monitors):
Vertical Split Screen (best choice for 21:9 monitors and wider):
But obviously which Split Screen version you prefer to use on your setup is your call ;).
So that's all for today - we hope you are pleased with the news and more info is around the corner, so stay tuned for additional FLASHOUT 3 info in the upcoming weeks!

Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare - Andrea Fantastico Studio
Hello folks, we have great news about Borneo: a Jungle Nightmare.
Finally, the development of the game has restarted! There have been many changes from the old design. The project has become more ambitious, from a 2D adventure game, we moved to a 3D first-person horror game.
We know we're late, but we preferred to take our time and reimagine the game, following user feedback.
We have a new road map. The development will be completed by the end of 2023 (hoping that there are no new pandemics!). We are working on a prototype that will be completed by the end of September. Next, we will start working on a vertical slice that will be shown to publishers and the public by the end of 2022.
The team has also changed and we have new members who will help us develop the game. We are proud to work with Gabriele Granocchia, a highly talented 3D developer and artist who will take care of the prototyping and visual design of Borneo. Check out her Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/granokgab/?hl=it
Every week, we will try to keep you updated on the development. For now, we leave you with this sneak peek:

A chain of combat missions with themed camouflages and a "Two Titans—One King" Premium container as rewards already await their heroes! The Armory and Premium Shop are offering a large bundle that provides VIII Amagi and VIII North Carolina, Commanders Godzilla and Kong with 10 skill points and special audio effects added to the standard voiceovers, permanent camouflages for Amagi and North Carolina, and bonus packages for Tier VIII ships, as well as commemorative flags and other valuable items.
Important note: Kong and Godzilla are only visible on ship decks in the Port, not in battle. You can have an unlimited number of Commanders Kong and Godzilla in your roster simultaneously.
VIII Amagi is a project of a battlecruiser with very powerful artillery. She was inferior to battleships of her time in terms of armor, but she significantly surpassed them in speed.
[expand style=more][/expand] VIII North Carolina was the first U.S. battleship of a new generation. The main advantage over previous classes of this ship type was her considerably higher speed.
[expand style=more][/expand]
Both ships come with all of their modules researched. All camouflages only change the ship exterior and don't provide any economic or combat bonuses.
Godzilla: Apex Monster
The "Godzilla: Apex Monster" bundle can be obtained in the Armory and Premium Shop. The bundle includes:
VIII Amagi with a Port slot
Commander Godzilla with 10 skill points and special audio effects added to the standard voiceover

Added year-end competition, salary increase mechanism and investment probability, fixed some bugs. As an independent game developer, it takes a lot of time and energy to develop a game on your own. I hope that I can communicate with players through the early experience mode, get feedback, and make the game more popular with players. The Early Access state will continue for some time.
Immersion, realism, and authenticity are three massive focuses of F1® Manager 2022 – and this dedication to bringing players into the world of F1® stretches far beyond the racetrack.
In our final behind-the-scenes video, we give you a closer look at how motion capture technology has been used to bring F1® Manager 2022 to life. From pit crew reactions, to pit stops, to podium celebrations, we’re using cutting-edge technology to deliver the raw emotion and passion of the world’s fastest motorsport. Take a look:
Principal Mocap Specialist Tina Nischan, and Lead Animator Tim West, break down the approach and thought process for implementing motion capture into the game. Using real F1® car components in a dedicated capture studio, a team of professional performers have brought scenarios to life, which you’ll see in F1® Manager 2022. From your pit crew in the garage reacting to a big overtake, to your driver celebrating a victory on the podium, these scenes will be weaved into a race weekend, just like an F1® television broadcast.
The Frontier Developments team also worked closely with BWT Alpine F1® Team to accurately recreate pit stop procedures, during a session at Silverstone Circuit. Pit stops are a crucial factor in a modern F1® race, with every mistake or tenth of a second lost potentially affecting a driver’s position as they rejoin the track. This has made efficient tyre changes a major focus for all teams – and thanks to Alpine’s crew collaborating with Frontier, you’ll see these complex events played out in true-to-life detail.
Make sure to check out our playlist of all F1® Manager 2022 behind-the-scenes videos on our YouTube channel. Here, you’ll find insight from the likes of F1® drivers Alexander Albon and Zahou Guanyu, F1® Managing Director of Motorsports Ross Brawn, commentator David Croft, and Frontier President and Founder David Braben. Get a closer look at other key features like authentic audio, stunning driver scans, and how we’re delivering the opportunity for players to be the boss of an F1® team.
