Today's patch includes multiple fixes and war mechanic modifications and improvements, following the big Casus-Belli update.
It also includes at the bottom of the changelogs all the cumulated previous smaller hotfixes and patches that have been applied since the last news which have focused mostly on server stabilization, optimization, and war mechanic modifications as well.

What's next?
Following this 1st war patch, more are to come to stabilize and balance the new war mechanics: a system of war escalation, fixing the issue of 'needle forts' with deployment capacity limitations based on surface area, and fixing the over fortification of countrysides overpowering defense currently by limiting the capacity of fortifications based on territorial status.

After that will come an update of "Quality of life", then an update for Slavery, and then finally a new system of accounts to implement Hogs properly and get ready for getting out of early access if all goes well.

These are no ordinary times to be a leader among Humanity. It has befallen you to lead our first manned expedition outside our galaxy, and it’s not just for exploration. The Earth is in danger, soon to be overrun by the real lords of the Milky Way. It is you who must find a new home for Humanity, or find a way to win the seemingly unwinnable war back home.



However, you’re not all alone at the top. You have the council of your closest advisors; the best navy officer the European continent has to offer, Grand Admiral Élodie Perron, leading the military. An ex-special forces veteran Karolina Jurić in charge of policing and infrastructure, a leading private pharmaceutical magnate Simon Lorenz as your science officer. And the negotiator responsible for strong-arming the Expedition into existence, Evan Loch.

With these people, you will, without any doubt, lead the Expedition to tremendous success.

What may make matters more complicated is that the Pegasus Galaxy is far from empty. Every move you make is a step on someone’s toes, or a violation of someone's sphere of influence. The Pegasus Galaxy is in a delicate state of status quo when you arrive… And that balance has no room for you.



The Maelstyrakh clans are a proud but divided species. Always in the shadow of their more advanced and centralised neighbours, the Maelstyrakh are bitterly and eagerly waiting for someone to disturb the balance.

The Tamanin Empire is the pinnacle of civilization in the Pegasus Galaxy. However, they’ve been that for a long time now, which has the tendency to make empires turn inwards. The current Empress Intan Solik has forced the ambitious houses and warlords into an uneasy truce. But should something happen to the already old Empress, anything could follow.

[Data wipe]
[Lost Light] servers will be suspended for the data wipe on September 1st, 2022, at 02:00 (UTC). Thank you very much for all the valuable suggestions given during testing. Based on the most common suggestions, we have made changes and optimizations to the game's next version.
At the same time, the next stage of the test will be officially launched on the same day. It is enough to just update the game to participate in testing. Still, it is recommended to download and reinstall the game. Thank you for your continued support of Lost Light and valuable feedback.

[Data wipe details]
All game account data, including nickname, items, level, etc., will be deleted.
The Shelter Box, Bounty Coins, Friends list, received avatars, and avatar frames will be retained. In addition, ranked mode ranks will be inherited according to the rules.
*Note: After the data wipe, you must create a new character. To ensure the successful inheritance of saved items and rank, we strongly recommend linking your game account to your social network account. After the wipe, use the same account when logging in. In case you are using a guest account, log in from the same account and the same device as before.

[Notice of top-up test rebate]
1. The period of May 31st - August 31st is the second phase of testing the purchase system. LP currency top-ups made during this test will be rebated according to specific rebate rules during the next purchase system test. All items and game currency purchased during this period will be deleted.

2. After the next stage of the purchase system test on September 1st starts, LP currency top-ups made during this test will be rebated according to specific rebate rules. Players can log in to the account that participated in the previous test and receive the top-up rebate rewards on the [Top-up Rebate] event interface. Light Points (LP) rebate rules:

b. 120% rebate for 2,000 < LP ≤ 5,000;

Note: Only LP obtained through cash top-up are eligible for the rebate (does not include the top-up bonus LP). LP rebating of the top-ups made during these two phases of the purchase system testing will be calculated separately. The LP top-up rebate will be made during the official launch of the purchase system.

Update content:
1. This Season's Shelter box function goes live! First, Fireflies can put items (non-containers) in the Shelter box. Then, after creating a new character by using the same account in the next season, players can receive the items in the Shelter box. Since the data will be wiped soon, please use the Shelter box reasonably to avoid unnecessary losses.
2. β Premium users have an increased exclusive privilege of the Shelter box. During the access period of the Shelter Box, players with β Premiums will get an additional two slots of capacity!

[Optimization]
1. Fixed the problem with the game crash of some players.
2. Optimized the initial package of the game. As a result, new players can download the entire game content through Steam's high-speed network. In the future, we will gradually optimize the update method, and players will be able to download extensive volume updates through Steam.

Howdy folks!

Unfortunately, Content Patch #16 needs to be delayed by 2 weeks. This patch (which will improve the modding API and documentation) isn't going to be at a state that I'd be satisfied with releasing if I kept to the original deadline, so I'm going to take more time to work on it.

I'm blown away by all the mods that have already been created using the API, and I can't wait to see what else you all will make when Content Patch #16 releases. My apologies for the delay.

I felt it while reading the script of the upcoming game and the script of Psychojirai, but I think the characters I am writing are not enough to be popular.

The main character is always talking nonsense, and his actions are incompetent and stupid. How would you date someone like that in reality, but I think it's natural in a certain way is natural.

I heard that the writer projects himself to the character without realizing it, but I think so. It was like that two years ago, and I think it's like that now. That's why I think it's a failure to be in the trend of the public.


I think it's going to be quiet for a while when Psychojirai comes out and Lucky Stamina comes out.
