- New District of East Cloudream: 'Arcadia Realm' will be updated.

- Can receive the quest through NPC 'Toru' in Grace City.
- Require to clear following 3 quests.
> 'Calm Before the Storm' Quest: Clear [Prayers' Cloister] Maze

> 'Soldiers of Humanity' Quest: Clear [Grace Landing] Maze

- Accept 'Operation: Trench Run' Quest → Enable to move to 'Arcadia Realm' through NPC [Heitz] in Grace City.
> If you want to go to Grace City from Arcadia Realm: Enable to move to 'Grace City' through NPC [Heitz] in Arcadia Realm.

- Grace Landing Maze in the 'WEST': Can enter by using 'Operation Order: [Grace Landing]' which can obtain via 'Soldiers of Humanity' Quest.

- 'Spec Ops Maze' will also be updated: [Field of Raid] / [Garden of Plenty] / [Moorland of Solitude]

[Improvement - CLEAR EXP of Season 1 Main Quests]



- Class Up / Desire Awakening Quests will be changed.
1) CLASS UP QUEST:
> Reach Lv. 57 → NPC Activation Quest ('Fortune Corps. Landing' Quest): Activate 'Miriam' in Grasscover Camp

2) DESIRE AWAKENING QUEST:
> Corrupted Record and Desire Awakening will be separated.
> Reach Lv. 65 → Clear 'The Beginning of a New History' Quest → Accept the quest through NPC 'Brooke' in Dipluce Horizon
> Raid Clear Quests → DELETED

- Some of Season 1 Quests will be Deleted. (If your characters have following quests → Quests will be auto-canceled After Update.)

▶ CHANGE – Entry Limit of Some Mazes
- Entry Limit Change: Innocent Daydream / Second Daydream / Scary Daydream

> (AFTER Update) Entry Limit: 7 / PLUS: No PLUS Bonus


▶ UPDATE - Max Level & New Scenario
- Max Level Change: (Before) Lv. 76 → (After Update) Lv. 79
- New Main Quest: 22 / Each Character Quest: 9 / New Sub Quest: 4 / New Repeat Quest: 3


▶ CHANGE – Ranking System
- Solo Maze Rankings will be separated 'by character' (Main Character of Users).
> Total Points Ranking: It will be counted by character based on the Main Character of Users.
> Reward: Can be received for each character.

- Ranking Mazes: Score System and Tie-Breaker Process will be changed.
> All Ranking Maze scores are equally distributed 'by Rank' and 'by Top(%)'.
> Ranking Menu → 'Rule of Tie-Breaker': Can check more detailed information.
> In the case of tying in the final points, users with a higher rank in the Specified Ranking Maze will be ranked high.
> Specified Ranking Mazes: No.1 (Tenebris Solo) / No.2 (Flemma Solo) / No.3 (RaphaKumpa Solo)

- Ranking Reward: It will be changed to '[Ranking] Gruton Medal'.

▶ UPDATE – SoulWorker [ GUIDE ]
- New [ GUIDE ] System: It will provide information on Recommended Contents and Equipment for users’ current level.
> It pops up on your in-game screen ONCE A DAY / ONCE per Account when Game Login.
> It also can check at Main Menu.

▶ UPDATE – New Skills of Characters (Lv.72 Skills)

- Lv.72 Skill will be updated to Each Character.
- HARD ARMOR effect will be applied to Lv.72 Skills.
- When using Lv.72 Skill → Buff Effect: SoulPlus Power Up 1 Time (Lv.42 Skill's SoulPlus)



▶ NEW SYSTEM – Active Skill Auto-Learn / Mastery System
- Active Skills will be automatically learned when players reach a certain level.
* SoulPlus of Active Skill: Enable to 'Learn' / 'Change' / 'Cancel' in the Skill tab. (No Skill Reset item is required.)
* Passive Skill (Such as 'Tumble' / 'Retaliation'): Consume SP to learn. (Same as Season 1)
* SoulPlus: Enable to 'Learn' / 'Change' / 'Cancel' in any Districts. (Except in Mazes and District 6)

- Mastery: Consume SP to upgrade Character Stats. (Battle Mastery / Technical Mastery)
> Press Skill ( k ) button → Can find Mastery tab
> You can freely add or subtract SPs until you press the 'Apply' button of Mastery.
> SP requirement for Mastery / Passive Skill: It will be fixed to 'Consume SP 1' regardless of level.
> Skill Reset / Skill Tree Reset: SPs that used for Mastery will be reset / returned.
> Ctrl + (Mouse) Left Click: Can consume (or reset) SP 5 at once
> Shift + (Mouse) Left Click: Can consume (or reset) SP Max at once
> After Update → The max SP amount increases according to the character level.
> SPs that used before Update → ALL RESET


▶ UPDATE – Cash Shop
1) NEW TAB - [Transmission]

- Transmission system (gacha) for Akashic Record / Soul Mate / Brooch / Tag will be added.
> Enable to Receive Mileage: Akashic Record / Soul Mate / Tag Transmission
> Mileage will not be provided: Brooch Transmission

- FREE Transmission Chance (Once A Day): Akashic Record / Soul Mate (REVISED / Aug 18)

2) Shopping Cart
- (After Update) Can adjust the quantity of some items in the shopping cart.

3) New & Improvement - User Convenience
- A separate notification will be exposed on the Cash Shop icon when new items are arrived.
- 'Photo' tab: Can check which photo you 'Already Own'.
- Character Preview: 'Fullscreen Mode' will be updated.
- Beauty Items: Preview Camera → Close-up the character's face
- The preview posture does not change when the character is wearing a weapon costume.
- Preview: Can check the character's general/battle gestures.
- Event Cash & Normal Cash: Event Cash is used in preference to Normal Cash.


▶ CHANGE - Mileage Store
- How to obtain Mileage: (Present) Purchase PKGs that provide Mileages → (After Update) Through Transmission system (Cash Shop) for Akashic Record / Soul Mate / Tag
> PKGs that provide Mileages will be DELETED from Cash Shop.
> Using Transmission system 1 time → Can obtain 'Mileage 1'

- Mileage Store (Gruton Coin Shop): New Sales Tabs will be updated.
> Soul Mate (Mileage) / Tag (Mileage) will be added.
> Akashic Record Mileage Shop: Parable's High-Grade A.R Transmitter and Parable's Hidden A.R Transmitter will be added.

▶ NEW SYSTEM – Soul Mate
- Soul Mate is a companion of SoulWorkers. They can do Auto-Loot (items) and provide Buffs to SoulWorkers!
- [ Y ] button is the shortcut key in the game.
- Soul Mate: Account Basis (Soul Mates will show for all characters on your account.)

1) How to Obtain
- Can obtain through 'Soul Mate Box'.
- Gather 'Memory Fragment' → 'Release' to obtain
- Cash Shop: Through Soul Mate 'Transmission' system in Cash Shop
- Not possible to hold same Soul Mates: If you obtain existing Soul Mate again → it is automatically converted to a "Memory Fragment"
- Memory Fragment can be purchased at 'Fragment Shop' (Soul Mate Menu) with 'Colorless Memory Fragment: Pet'.

2) Memory Fragment: Soul Mate
- Use 'Memory Fragment' to raise a Soul Mate's Rank.
- Can purchase at 'Fragment Shop' (Soul Mate Menu) / 'Gruton Coin Shop' (Mileage Store - Soul Mate) / 'Cash Shop' (Transmission - Soul Mate)
- If a Soul Mate's Rank reach MAX:
> Not possible to obtain Memory Fragments of Max Ranked Soul Mate.
> Can obtain 'Colorless Memory Fragment: Pet' instead.

3) Summon / Companion
- Summon: Can summon a Soul Mate that you choose.
- Companion: (e.g.) Summon 'Haru' Soul Mate and Companion 'Erwin' Soul Mate → 'Erwin' Soul Mate follows you but the buffs of 'Haru' Soul Mate is applied to your character.
- Summon / Dismiss: Possible to do in any Districts.
- In the Maze: If you forget to summon a Soul Mate, you can't summon in the maze. You must summon a Soul Mate BEFORE you enter a maze. ('Dismiss' is not possible, either.)
- Not possible to summon any Soul Mates in ‘District 6’.

4) RANK of Soul Mates
- Soul Mate Rank: Total of 20 Ranks (C ~ SSS) / Each Soul Mate has a different starting rank.
- Use 'Memory Fragment' to raise a Soul Mate's Rank.
- Rank Up → Soul Mate's Stats will be increased. (Some Soul Mates increase their Stats per Level.)
- Soul Mate 'Story' & 'Voice': Can be unlocked by Rank Up.
- Rank C / Rank B / Rank A: Enable to rank up to ★3
- Rank S / Rank SS: Enable to rank up to ★5
- Rank SSS: MAX RANK (No higher rank exists.)

5) Rename Soul Mate
- Can rename your Soul Mates by using 'Soul Mate Name Change' item. (Can purchase at Cash Shop)

6) Level of Soul Mate
- Soul Mate can obtain EXP as much as FP has consumed AFTER MAZE CLEAR.
- Not possible to get any EXP if leaving without clearing the maze.
- Level Up → Soul Mate's Stats will be increased. (Some Soul Mates increase their Stats per Rank.)

7) Stats of Soul Mate
- Stats will be increased by Rank / Level.
- 'Max Stats' Button: Enable to check Rank SSS / Lv.30 Stats of Soul Mate

8) Skills of Soul Mate
- Soul Mates have their own skill.
- Soul Mates have the same Skill regardless of rank. (EXCEPT FOR Betty / Arua / Yorhaka / Poison)

9) Artifacts of Soul Mate
- Can equip Max 3 Artifacts that increase the Stats of user's Character. (Applies ONLY when the Artifacts-equipped Soul Mate is summoned.)
- Artifacts: BLUE / RED (Can be unlocked Lv.15) / EFFECT (Can be unlocked Lv.30)
> Effect Artifact: Equip Effect Artifact → creates a unique effect around the Soul Mate.
- Artifact Grade: Normal (Lowest) / Magic / Rare / Unique / Legend (Highest)
- Can obtain through Transmission system (Cash Shop).
- Also, chance to obtain at 'Moorland of Solitude' (Season 2)

10) Artifact Combine / Dismantle
- Combine Artifacts: Can obtain Same Grade Artifacts or Higher Grade Artifacts
> When Combine → Add Artifact x1 → Result: Same Grade Artifact
> To get Higher Grade Artifacts: When Combine, Need to add Certain Amounts of Artifacts.
- Can combine with Same Grade Artifacts (Success Chance: 100%)
- Dismantle Artifacts: Can obtain 'Colorless Memory Fragment: Pet' that allows you to purchase various Memory Fragment of Soul Mates.

11) Stories of Soul Mate
- Some Soul Mates can unlock their own Stories per Rank.
- Can check which Rank that you can unlock the story. (Soul Mate menu)

12) Voices of Soul Mate
- Rank A or Higher Rank Soul Mates have their own Voices and can be activated in Special Conditions.
> Voice Conditions can be checked at Soul Mate menu - [Voice]
> Special Conditions of Voice: Some Soul Mates (Haru / Erwin / Lily / Jin / and so on) and Rank S or Higher Rank Soul Mates have their own Special Condition Voices.
> Voice function can be activated from Rank S of Soul Mate.


▶ NEW PREMIUM COSTUME



- 'The Lord of Dark Forces' (Mazoku / Dark Lord themed Premium Costume) will be updated.
> > Enable to change Effect / Sound Equalizer.
- 'Evil Red Eye' / 'Demonic Tattoo': face beauty items will be added.


▶ ILLUSTRATION CHANGE - Some of Characters and NPCs
- For Jin / Stella / Iris: Basic illustration, Character Art Design, and In-game Speech Image will be improved.
- Motion / Gesture of Some Characters will be updated and improved.



- The illustration of NPC [Eo] will be changed.
- NPC [Yomi] and [Zyte]: The illustration and In-game character model will be changed.
> The new in-game model and illustration will ONLY be applied to East Cloudream.


▶ CHANGE – PROGRESSION REWARD
- Each Maze Progression Reward (Season 1) will be changed to 'Token' item.
* e.g.) Rocco Town Token: This Unique Currency is issued to SoulWorkers who have cleared mazes in the Rocco Town area.
- Token: Can make useful items through NPC in a certain town or district.

> Start Dash 7-Day Mission Rewards will be changed. Missions can be carried out on the first access after account creation and last ONLY for 20 days.
> Return Dash 7-Day Mission: Can receive Return Dash Missions if you have not accessed the game for more than 30 days. Missions last ONLY for 20 days.
> Mission Reset Time is 16:00 (GMT). Can obtain the Final Reward if you clear all missions.
> User Accounts that are on Start Dash 7-Day Mission until this update → Count Box item that can receive all of rewards by H.E.M.S will be sent.

> For some quests (due to the changes of Corrupted Record): 'Corrupted Records' Appendix' will not be provided as a quest complete reward.
- 'Corrupted Records' Appendix' will not be able to use. It can be sold in the shop and can store in the bank.
> NPC [Corrupted Bookshelf]: Can exchange Corrupted Records' Appendix for 'Corrupted Records Mystery Box'.
- For Some Quests, 'Corrupted Records' Appendix' will not be provided.

▶ CHANGE & IMPROVEMENT - CHARACTER BALANCE
- There will be a Skill Balance Patch for Some of Skills.
> Depending on the Limit and Revision of Attack Speed / Agility, the skill balance patch of all characters will be applied.
> Improvement for channeling skills: Add 'HARD ARMOR' effect for some of channeling skills
> Some of monsters that can break Hard Armor (Not All Monsters / Only Some Monsters) → Attack Damage of those monsters will be nerfed.
> Some Skills that have a long Cooldown time → Those skills' Cooldown time will be improved.
> Class-Up Passive and Some of SoulPlus Skills will be improved.

Soooo... I've increased the max number of squirrels spawned at once to 150 in single player. Multiplayer is yet to be tested with this many squirrels...

Bringing back the day / night...
The random tIme of day + fog systems have been re-activated!



Huge Weapons Update:
- REPLACED: scope system (still working on it!)
- UPDATED: all weapons now use projectiles... needs some tuning but seriously satisfying
- UPDATED: First Person HUD remove hip fire cross-hairs.

Shooting from the hip in 1st person no longer has cross-hairs visible. This opened up the awareness factor of one's surroundings while keeping immersion and realism. 3rd person gameplay perspective is not affected.

  • Hang man ceased to be a suffocator, received a combo strike in his arsenal, and also built a location for himself to make it more convenient to throw the player
  • New save system, backwards compatible with the old version

  • Bushes are no longer static pictures, but react to the movements of the player, opponents and projectiles

Here are the latest update details for Black Desert Online on August 17, 2022 (Wed).

Arena of Solare's First Regular Season
On August 17th, Arena of Solare regular season begins for all regions. Thank you again to the Adventurers who showed great interest and appreciation during the preseason period.
There are three significant changes for the regular season.

First, a practice mode will be added. The practice mode does not affect your rank and is purely for the purpose of 'practice'. (Although not displayed, there is a separate MMR for practice mode as well to ensure fair matches.) Many people regretted not being able to experience anything other than ranked in the preseason, but we hope this practice mode will help our Adventurers on their journey to ascend the tiers. However, please note that the practice mode is only open during the times where the ranked mode is not available.

※ Practice mode is currently only available to be queued up individually. While we did develop this content with party queues in mind, we felt that we needed further testing before we could release this feature for the live servers.

Next is the gameplay. Firstly, the gear balance will be configured the same as in the preseason. There were opinions that it would be better to have a bit more AP, but since it is the first season, we decided to keep the current version so that more people can enjoy it. (Of course, please note that we will continue to add changes to the gear as the seasons go on.) In addition, new battlefields have been added. Manshaum Forest, Jade Starlight Forest, and Cadry Ruins join the existing Tzol's Ruins and Olun's Valley making 5 battlefields in total that you can enjoy for this season. Manshaum Forest is expected to offer a new experience with its verdure background, and Jade Starlight Forest will be somewhere that can provide the feeling of field combat.

The last is the UI features. The rank page has been subdivided so that you can check whether players are in Succession or Awakening, and it has been improved to show the character with the highest play rate within a Family, not the last character played. In addition, the ability to check the information of other Adventurers in the rank window has been added, allowing you to check all character information, equipment (including crystals), and skill Add-ons. Some Adventurers said they were reluctant to disclose information, but as Arena of Solare introduced an 'equalized gear system' for the first time in Black Desert, we believe it will serve as an opportunity for more people to enter PvP, so we ask for your understanding. In addition, the rank window has been improved so that you can check the rank 'by class' as well.

And although it will not be implemented on August 17th, we are preparing a system in which MVP and ACE are determined by adding not only damage but also how many crowd-control effects have been inflicted (I.e. knockdown, stun, etc.) which we believe is one of the more important indicators to be considered along with a function in which you can join Practice Mode in a party.
We will continue to do our best to work on the other features of Arena of Solare so that we can provide the most enjoyable experience to our Adventurers.
● The new season of Arena of Solare is now live! The following changes have been applied.

Battlefields
New battlefields have been added - "Manshaum Forest," "Jade Starlight Forest," and "Cadry Ruins."

Manshaum Forest
- Flora's Breath will appear within the woods for each round.



Cadry Ruins
- Fire's Warmth will arise from the brazier every so often, and a damage-dealing object will spawn in a random location around the center.

Practice Mode
● Added Practice Mode.
- Practice Mode is for playing in the Arena of Solare without having your match outcome affect your current rank.
- Practice Mode Match will be available when Ranked Matches are unavailable.
- Your opponent's defensive icons will be displayed for Practice Mode. (Hidden for Ranked Matches.)
* You will be able to queue up for Practice Mode in a party in a future update.

Ranked Match
● Improved the Ranked Match as follows:
- Only up to 2 players of the same class will be matched in the same team.
- Bonus points for consecutive wins have been adjusted, along with the win conditions.
- Added an alert to display when you can queue up for Ranked Matches.
- This is the schedule when you can queue up for Arena of Solare Regular Season Matches:

Arena of Solare Rankings/Records
● Improved the Arena of Solare rankings and records UI.
- You can now view detailed information of other Adventurers.
* Click the magnifying glass icon to view details on other Adventurers.
* You can now see whether an Adventurer plays as Awakening or Succession, their Skill Add-ons, and their current gear setup.
- Added the function to now view rankings by class.
* You can choose to view the top 20 ranked Adventurers by class by selecting "Class" in the top right corner of the ranking UI.




● Improved to now display clearly when an Adventurer obtains a "traces of elements" buff.
- This buff effect will be visible by all Adventurers, allies and foes alike.

TOP 1 Rewards by Class
● Adventurers ranked 1st in their class will be given the honor of having their character's likeness displayed as a "commemorative NPC" in the Battle Arena.

TOP 100 Rewards
● The following rewards will be given to Adventurers ranked from 1st - 100th place when the Arena of Solare Regular Season is over.

Honorary Outfit
- You will obtain an honorary outfit suitable to your class (permanent and character-bound).

"Solare" Title
- You will be able to use the "Solare" title until the end of the next Arena of Solare season.
- Equipping the "Solare" title will display a visual effect for your character.

Glorious Solare Box
- Open the box to claim the following items.


Seal of Solare
● You can obtain 2 Seals of Solare for every ranked victory, and 1 seal per ranked loss.
- Exclusive gear and crystals in Arena of Solare can be unlocked with Seals of Solare.
* Weapon: Requires 5 Seals of Solare
* Crystal: Requires 2-3 Seals of Solare
* Accessory: Requires 2-3 Seals of Solare
* Alchemy Stone: Requires 5 Seals of Solare

Increased Max Level & New Skill for Fairies
We're increasing the max level of your fairy and adding an additional quality-of-life improving skill, "Continuous Care."

Continuous Care can be learned by a Radiant Fairy, who will be able to automatically consume from 5 to 20 different food, draught, elixir, perfume, and scroll items. Your fairy will be able to save 3 presets with this skill, so Adventurers will be able to have separate presets for PvE, PvP, and Life Skills, if so desired. Like Agris Fever, this skill can be easily toggled on/off, so you can turn it off if you don't need your fairy to automatically feed you the items you selected.

Some of your fairy's "unpopular" skills now have a reduced chance to be learned with the addition of Continuous Care, while other more "popular" skills, such as Miraculous Cheer V and Feathery Steps V retain their previous odds of being learned. At the same, we designed Continuous Care so that Adventurers won't feel pressured to attain the V rank version of the skill.

Under the "Continuous Care" of your fairy, we hope that you enjoy this quality-of-life improvement in Black Desert.



● Increased the fairy's max level from 40 to 50.
- Once you reach Lv. 50 with your fairy, she will gain one additional skill slot.
* When your fairy reached Lv. 50, she will be able to learn an additional skill according to a set probability.

● Added the "Continuous Care" skill, which can be learned by a "Radiant" Fairy.

- A Radiant Fairy can learn Continuous Care from Lv. 10.
- Once your fairy learns Continuous Care, the "Auto-use Settings" button will appear in the fairy UI.
- You can use this function to designate certain items to be automatically consumed when they're not in use.
- The following items can be designated for auto-use. The skill rank of Continuous Care will determine the amount of items you can designate at any given moment.




- You can easily save and change your Auto-use selections via the 3 preset buttons.

- You can find the Auto-use Food/Elixir and settings button in the top left-portion of the UI.
- LMB to open the Auto-use Settings UI, RMB to toggle the Auto-use Function ON and OFF.
* You can save your selections in presets for later use.




● Selecting different items with the same effect for auto-use will automatically consume the selected item even if the effects of the previous item are still active.
* ex) If the effects of "[Event] Beast's Draught" are active, but you select "Beast's Draught" and toggle "Auto-use" ON, your family will immediately use the selected "Beast Draught" even though the "[Event] Beast's Draught" effects are still active.

● Change the success rate of learning skills for Radiant Fairies.
- The success rate to learn Continuous Care differs based on your Radiant Fairy's current set of learned skills. You can check your fairy's actual chance to learn skills from the in-game fairy UI.

In the Arena of Solare, you have exclusive “gear load outs” that allow you to play in your unique PvP-style and compete with “skill alone”.

Due to an incompatibility with the system, playing the game with the online features (online leaderboards, replay download) via the Steam launcher is unavailable. The game can still be played via the Steam launcher in Offline mode.

However, the online functions are still available if you play the game via the local files. Until we can resolve the issue, please access the game via the local files to enjoy its full features.

Another Year!

The 17th of August marks 4 years since the launch of Coloring Pixels! Even after all this time, the continued, lasting support and growth of this community still overwhelms us and we cannot thank all of you enough for helping us get this far! <3

It has been another milestone year for us here as ToastieLabs! Since the last anniversary, we have maintained the steady release schedule that we implemented in the previous year and we have managed to add 12 additional DLC books to Coloring Pixels! From Retro to the most recent Bakery book! That's 240 new levels, not to forget the free r/Place book which has caused a lot of you original players to return to our game!

As a result of the growth you have all permitted, we have been able to expand our small team (2 people) to be not quite as small - we now have a full-time artist who can dedicate even more time to Coloring Pixels! We have plans to continue the support for our community and aim to make another year of DLC, along with some requested feature updates from you, our community.

To celebrate this momentous milestone: We have added a new free bonus image to Coloring Pixels, we are hosting the 4th annual pixel art competition, and all* available ToastieLabs games and DLC on Steam will be 20% off all week long!

ToastieLabs Games Studio Growth
We are still a fledgling Games Studio as we are approaching 2 years of full-time ToastieLabs this September. We are very proud of what we have managed to achieve in this short time with your help!

4 Huge milestones!
  • We have started releasing our games on Nintendo Switch, both hexceed and Coloring Pixels!
  • We have changed from a Self-Employed studio to a Limited Company (boring I know, but an important step for us)

Coloring Pixels Changes
Most of the Coloring Pixels DLC work was handed over once more, this time Lee is passing the responsibilities of Coloring Pixels over to Jack, our new Full-time Digital Artist.
For you Coloring Pixels lovers, this means that the artwork in-game can be more consistent and more importantly, better altered with your feedback. I strongly recommend you join our Discord server where Jack regularly interacts with our members to seek feedback, improvement and ideas!
For us as a games studio, it frees up Rob and Lee to focus on supporting all our games regularly as well as developing brand new, more ambitious titles!

The new DLC process has been refined!
As we are sticking to a monthly release schedule for new Coloring Pixels books, we are very quickly going through the list of ideas we originally had.
In order to address this, we have included the community in our 3 step decision-making process!

Who Shuffled My Shapes?
A step into the unknown! We created a brand new game, Who Shuffled My Shapes?
A Rubik's cube-inspired puzzle game with 20 different shapes for you to enjoy.

The purpose of this title was for us to trial a number of things, an experiment if you may.

  • Firstly we wanted to dip our toes into the world of 3D Games, although this game is very light, it was still a good practice ground to get familiar with the ins and outs of a 3D environment.
  • Secondly, we wanted to see how well a different pricing model will be received by our community, a game with a set price instead of a Free-to-Play with DLC - we believe for a game of this scale, we should look at alternative options that what we provided.
  • Finally, and most excitingly, we tried out the Steam Next Fest! This is a regular festival held by Valve for new titles to all be put into the spotlight with a week of free demos, developer live streams and community interaction - this was incredibly fun for us to do and something we will certainly be looking at again for future releases!

  • Re-Re-Re-added the “Your Art” button to the main menu so you can enter the competition!
    • Added some brief details about this year's pixel art competition.

    • Made the Exit button smaller to make room for the Your Art button.
  • Added a "Total Pixels Colored Counter" on the settings page. The number increases by 1 for every pixel you correctly color! Unfortunately, this is not a statistic we have been tracking since before this update so all players will start at 0.
  • Add a new "Highlight Palette Text" accessibility setting (Default to off) - When enabled, the numbers on the palette get an extra highlight around them, to make it easier to read the numbers in dark colors.
  • Added an additional UI element on the main menu to highlight which book is currently open.
