A small demonstration of some of the cars from one of the testers. Pre-release tests and finalization of the game are in progress. We will announce the release date very soon!
Spanning across multiple decades, id Software’s library of work is as vast as it is full of amazing games.
However, this means a number of the id’s offerings have been released or reiterated in ways that can make our digital storefronts a touch…confusing. Rather than write out the differences between Final DOOM, Ultimate DOOM and just DOOM, we’re consolidating our Steam library of titles! For those id Software experts that do know all the variations of our games released on Steam, bear with us as we simplify how our games appear so that newcomers have an easier time.
HERE’S THE PLAN:
Starting August 10, we will begin rolling out changes to our Steam Store listings for select id Software games. In short, we are consolidating each game under one major title and/or changing the title for a simpler shopping experience.
Below will detail our current plans for Steam consolidation and how it affects your current Steam library if you’ve purchased these games already. And don’t worry, even if we are delisting a title you currently own, you’ll still have the game in your library to download and play like always.
Without further ado, the lowdown:
DOOM (1993) We will be changing the name of Ultimate DOOM in the Steam Store to DOOM (1993). No other major changes are being made at this time.
DOOM II DOOM II will include Final DOOM and Master Levels as one install package. Each can be launched separately as follows:
DOOM II
DOOM II (Enhanced)
Master Levels for DOOM II
Final DOOM
DOOM 3 DOOM 3 will be merged into a package containing the original DOOM 3 plus the Resurrection of Evil expansion and DOOM 3: BFG Edition. The package allows each version to be installed separately as follows:
DOOM 3
DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil (Requires DOOM 3 to be installed)
DOOM 3: BFG Edition
NOTE: Players that already own DOOM 3 or DOOM 3: BFG Edition on Steam will be upgraded to the DOOM 3 consolidated package with all three releases for free!
Quake II Quake II and its mission packs, The Reckoning and Ground Zero, will be merged into one install package with multiple launch options:
Quake II
The Reckoning
Ground Zero
Quake III Arena Quake III Arena and Quake III Team Arena will be merged into one package with separate installs:
Quake III Arena
Quake III Team Arena
STEAM BUNDLES
In addition to updating our id Software titles on Steam, we’re also revamping our bundles (as well as introducing some new ones!) Note that if you already own certain titles listed in each bundle, you can complete it to get the remaining games added to your library at a discounted price. See below for details:
DOOM Classic Bundle Replaces the DOOM Classic Complete Bundle on Steam, with this bundle now including DOOM 3 and DOOM 64.
Includes DOOM (1993), DOOM II, DOOM 3 and DOOM 64
DOOM Franchise Bundle Explore more DOOM with this bundle, including both the classic DOOM games as well as DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal.

- Gameplay : since the previous update the side spin strikes and the twisted serve could go in a wrong direction - Gameplay : the slice could get too fast since Build 91 - Visuals : leaving a stadium when displayed from the opposite side & reentering right away was raising the exposure on the opposite side

I'll be spending the rest of the week cleaning and bug fixing to prepare for Early Access!
Hey everyone! It's been a few months, but rest assured I've been hard at work on the next steps for Rebel Transmute. I've also had some setbacks, as I caught Covid during my week off, and am still slowly rebuilding the energy I had pre-Covid. That being said, Rebel Transmute is now moving full steam ahead!
Kickstarter
I'll start off with the big news: Rebel Transmute will be launching on Kickstarter in just 3 weeks!!! On August 30th (Tuesday) I'll be pressing the launch button and inviting all of you to help me fund and take part in the final stint of development. Just click the link below to be taken to the pre-launch page, where you can follow to be notified of when the project goes live.
In other news, development has progressed steadily, and I'm really happy with the current state of the game. The main story is completed, and crucially the first area of the game, the Foray Surface Labs, is complete and I'm super happy with the visuals, secrets, enemies, and NPCs in this area. I'm also halfway through the second area you explore in Rebel Transmute, the Abandoned Quarry. (If it sounds like I'm working on areas I've already gone over, that's because I am! These areas had a bare minimum pass already, now I'm finalizing them for release, which takes time!)
I've also tweaked a lot of overarching systems like making death less financially punishing but still intereseting, giving currency (Red Flux) more uses, and fleshing out lots of Augments. Looking ahead, work on the game has taken a slight pause though as I focus on getting the Kickstarter up and running, and will likely stay paused through September so I can make sure the game gets the funding it needs.
I'll leave y'all with a look at some of the new enemy designs for the Abandoned Quarry! Can't wait to see how players deal with these rock behemoths. (And their fun variety of attacks!)
I'll have an update next month when the Kickstarter launches, and from then on it'll be bi-monthly updates, with more frequent updates posted to the Kickstarter page. Thanks for following along, I hope I can count on your support, whether that's backing or just spreading the word.
Thank you to all those that have played Camp Canyonwood and shared feedback during Early Access! We can't make a great game without your support. Now that you've had time to play, we wanted to share the major features that we have planned for Camp Canyonwood in the following roadmap. And of course, we'll have ongoing patches with bug fixes, balancing, etc.
We're asking that if you have any gameplay feedback, run into bugs, or want to share your musings on Camp Canyonwood to mosey on down to the official Discord channel.
Our new update adds some great new features and improvements to existing gameplay. Check out the list below:
Additions:
Lippy Voice Lines
Lippy can now offer additional dialogue prompted by game events!
Lippy will now periodically comment on your in-game actions, progress, and other events.
These events can include dealing damage, multi-killing enemy Phobies with a single attack, League progress, or even crushing wins.
Frenemies Arena Matches
Players can now challenge other players on their friends' lists to Arena matches.
In addition to this new mode, players can also elect to challenge friends to matches using their actual Phobies levels or default to Level 1 Phobies only.
Level 1 Phobies matches could even allow some enterprising players to organize tournaments…
Map Names
Map names will now appear during the opening sequence for new matches.
This will allow players to be able to better identify maps for sharing ideas and strategies.
Quest Re-roll Confirmation
A confirmation pop-up will now appear if a player attempts to re-roll their available selection of quests.
This is intended to prevent accidental re-rolls and unintentionally losing progress on partially completed quests.
Bug Fixes:
Phobies
Fixed an issue that prevented Sasquatch from dying if he was occupying the same tile as a barrier or ally Phobie while invisible.
Quests
Fixed an issue that prevented progress from tracking on the “Cool Off” quest if enemy Phobies were frozen by Jeeves’s ice trap.
Server
Added additional fixes and backend work to improve server stability.
Special Offers
Fixed some visual issues with the pricing planks for Lippy’s Sweet Deal and the Starter Pack.
Fixed an issue that prevented XP boosts from activating until the game was restarted.
Fixed an issue that prevented the special subscriber Avatar frame from activating until the game was restarted.
Stability
Fixed some one-time issues that could cause Arena game desyncs.
Fixed an issue that could cause a crash if a player switched accounts while a special offer presentation was active.
Fixed an issue that could cause a softlock if a player navigated to Avatars after inspecting Top Phobies in the stats menu.
Fixed an issue that could cause a network error when switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data with the game client suspended in the background.
We’re hard at work on a creepy new update, just in time for the Halloween season - new Phobies, new offers and new features are headed your way!
