We have heard your feedback and we are working hard on a major patch coming out on August 15th.

This patch will GREATLY improve the onboarding process for new players to help them learn the game MUCH easier. We brought on board a former AAA UX lead, told them our major issues and have worked out a great strategy.

So if you have not yet purchased this game and are on the fence, Please wait till August 15th to play the game, we want you to have a much better experience than what is offered now when it comes to learning how to play the game.

PeanutSoft is excited to announce a new version for PlanetVRium! It has been 4 months since our original release, and this update contains two new Visual Experiences and a new 3D interactive zoom mode as seen in “The Night Sky … in 3D”. Plus, a handful of small bug fixes and other improvements.

Also, in honor of the annual Perseids meteor shower, there is a new “meter shower mode”. The Perseids start in late-July, peak on August 12 and 13, and continue into late August. I hope you will have some opportunity to see the Perseids, in real life, but unfortunately this year there is a full moon on August 11, and the bright sky will hinder our ability to view the meteors during those peak days. So, in lieu of being able to see the Perseids in real life, now you can see them in VR 😊 …

I want to thank everyone who has already tried PlanetVRium. In fact, I encourage each of you to experience PlanetVRium all over again with this new update. Watch each of the Visual Experiences again (and again!). Spend some time interacting with the sky. You likely purchased this app because you have some interest in astronomy; I encourage you to share your interest with others. You will find that most people look at the universe around us and wonder “what’s out there and how does it all work?”

Automaton BUGFIX: Fixed some issues with Automaton's Function display, particularly in non-English languages.

Hermit BALANCE: Charred Glove damage bonus down to 3 from 4.

Hermit BALANCE: Feint Block down by 1.

Hermit BALANCE: Brawl bruise down by 1 to 3>5.

Hermit BALANCE: Pistol Whip+ bruise down by 1 to 4.

Hermit BALANCE: Headshot damage down by 1.

Hermit BALANCE: Spray n' Pray hits down by 1, but damage up by 1. (4x3 > 5x3)

Hermit BALANCE: Body Armor block down by 1 to 5>7.

Hermit CHANGE: Eye of the Storm no longer a Dead On card, costs 1, the effect is otherwise the same as before.

Hermit CHANGE: Dead or Alive now grants the gold immediately.

• Zoom Light Year Scale mode. Note this mode is intentionally not saved to your preferences; instead "Simple Rotation" will be selected on next app restart. Whereas selecting “Latitude/Time Rotation" or "Simple Rotation" will be saved to preferences and automatically restored during subsequent startup. I felt that Light Year Zoom was a novelty experience to "play with" for a little while, and not really desired as a long-term star viewing environment.
  
• Meteor Shower mode, which is "on" by default.
  
• Updated Intro text and added zooming super nova logo to match the marketing images found on the Steam store/library.
  
• Fixed a bug where any "Image Zoomer" screens created during a Visual Experience were "leftover" (not cleaned up) if the experience was terminated early (press and hold "A" button) while image was being displayed.
  
• Replaced ugly "galaxy disk" in the Visual Experience "The Night Sky in 3D" with a high-res Milky Way skybox. I plan to eventually go back to a "good looking" galaxy disk in the future, but I feel the skybox is better for now.
  
• A few additional minor fixes
