Event Details
① At certain times during the event, you will be able to join the Red Battlefield by going to the ESC Menu → War (F7) → Red Battlefield.
* However, you cannot enter while under the effect of a debuff.

② When you enter the Sand Castle Shore-down, you will automatically be assigned to either the Papu or Otter teams, and you will be randomly assigned one of 3 roles.
* The Sand Castle Shore-down is open for up to 60 Adventurers and is a 30 vs 30 death match.

How to Play

How to Use Rage!
① At the starting points of the Sand Castle Shore-down, a Shore-down Stoneback Crab will appear. Hitting the crab will grant you with Rage.
② Hitting opponents will also gain you Rage.
* You will not be able to re-enter the starting area of the Papu/Otter camp once you have left.
③ Score points by striking down members of the opposite team. The number of points earned depends on the number of points the other character had.
④ The team with the highest total accumulated score at the end of the time will win.

Sand Castle Shore-down Weekly Quest

* This quest can be completed once a week per Family and resets Thursday at midnight (server time).
* The quest can be picked up for the first time from August 4, 2022 at 00:00 (UTC).
* The NPC Daz appears in the Sand Castle Shore-down battlefield.

Event 2: Who's the King of the (Sand) Castle

Event Details
① Once you complete the main quest, “Clash of the Furr-some Papus and Otters,” you will see a crossroad selection quest where you can choose to aid the Papu’s or the Otters.
* You can change select your side again every Thursday until the event is completed.

② By choosing the side you want to support, you can obtain the transformation scrolls shown below through conversation with the Panipani Villagers for Papu, or the Queekity Thumpity Moon Villagers. These villagers are scattered around the Sand Castle site.

* The used transformation scrolls do not disappear and can be used again within the expiration date.
* Papu and Otters can only be attacked by turning into the opposite camp.

The yellow-grade permanent transformation scrolls exchanged with Benns Lamute can't be used to in the Sand Castle Shore-Down Event.

③ Every 15 minutes, the “Clash of the Furr-some Papu’s and Otters” runs at the Sand Castle Shore-down site. There are 5 territories to fight over and driving out the other side from a territory will allow you to occupy it.

④ After 15 minutes of fighting, the side that has held onto territories longer wins.
- The defeated Papus or Otters of the camp will remain in place for 5 minutes, to reflect on their team’s defeat.

Tip! Good Things to know

(1) The Papu and the Otters will fight for 15 minutes, then take a break for 5 minutes, then pick back up where they left off.
(2) You will find battles easier if you participate using the Immortal Persimmon Knight, Resolute Crab Knight, Chilled Chestnut Slinger, or the Vehement Conch Boxer Transformation scrolls.
(3) By taking down opponents in battle, you can obtain the “[Event] Golden Shellfish”, “[Event] Golden Leaf” or “[Event] Blue Terrmian Coins” at a certain chance.
- “[Event] Golden Shellfish” and “[Event] Golden Leaf” can be sold for 70,000 Silver.
(4) During combat, you can obtain the “[Event] Fierce Pine Blader Transformation Scroll” or the “[Event] Solitary Conch Blader Transformation Scroll” at a low drop rate, and the transformation lasts 10 minutes.
- Using these scrolls will allow you to show the whole beach what you are made of.

[Sand Castle Crasher] Daily Quest

* This quest can be completed once per day per family. (Resets each day at 00:00 UTC)
* You can find the NPCs by going to the Quest Menu (O) → New → and selecting the quest names above.

Where to Use the [Event] Blue Terrmian Coin

* The “[Event] Immortal Persimmon Knight Transformation Scroll,” “[Event] Resolute Crab Knight Transformation Scroll,” “[Event] Chilled Chestnut Slinger Transformation Scroll,” and the “[Event] Vehement Conch Boxer Transformation Scroll” will be deleted during the August 24 (Wed) maintenance.
- The “[Event] Fierce Pine Blader Transformation Scroll” and the “[Event] Solitary Conch Blader Transformation Scroll’ will not be deleted.
* These quests can only be completed once per Family.

“This beach isn’t big enough for the two of us...”

The never-ending dispute of Papua Crinea between the Otters and Papu have been brought to Terrmian Beach as the Otter painter, Kakuo, and Papu sculptor, Parapura, confront each other at the Thousand Years Masterpiece Auction!

Bid on the drawings of Kakuo, the outstanding Otter painter who created masterpieces out of nothing, leaving a beautiful mark on the Otters’ history. Or bid on the sculptures of Parapura, carved during the Papu’s brilliant golden age.

(* Funds received from the auction will be donated to the Fruit Soldier Academy and Otter Military Academy.)

* Any changes to the above schedule will be announced through a notice.

Auction Details
- A total of 3 auctions featuring the works of Kakuo and Parapura will be held on Terrmian Beach.
- After the auction ends, the [Thousand Years Masterpiece Auction Manager will deliver each work of art to the highest bidder.
- The same pieces of art will appear once during each of the 3 auctions. All items have been certified as genuine pieces by the Thousand Years Masterpiece.
- In order to protect the pieces of art, all items from the auction can only be installed indoors.

How to Bid at the Auction

Once your bid is successful, you may not cancel your purchase, so please proceed carefully.
Check the auction bidding process below:
- Bidding begins on Friday 00:00 and runs until Sunday 24:00 (for a total of 72 hours).
* The bidding will close on Sunday at 24:00, and the Adventurer with the highest bid at the time of closing will win the item.
- Bids for painter Kakuo’s works can be done through [Thousand Years Masterpiece Auction Manager] Maestio.
- Bids for sculptor Parapura’s works can be done through [Thousand Years Masterpiece Auction Manager] Honia.

▲ [Supper of the 13th Moon] was born one night when the full moon hung over Oquilla coast.
This piece best represents the Otter belief that there’s no better hoy in life than to fill one’s tummy. The piece does an excellent job of capturing the dichotomy between fish that poke their head above water, tantalized by moonbeams, and fish struggling within the vast abyss of Kakuo’s stomach.
Otters who are suffering from a lack of appetite are said to feel hungry again after taking one look of this picture.

▲ [Thinking Portrait] was drawn after the otter bachelor Kakuo thought about what his unborn pup would look like. Using iridescent Coral paints, he drew himself vigilantly standing watch over his future son with a rainbow of assorted colors.
When he first revealed this work, he confessed that he had put in all his sweat and blood, tears and joys, past and future, and all else that came to mind when imagining his unborn son.
While many in the audience teared up at his confession,
They say that no female Otter has yet offered to help him with his predicament.

▲ [Touched by the Root Nymph] was drawn one summer by Kakuo when he observed a gathering of Otter Military Academy cadets. Due to sudden rainfall, many of the cadets began picking up clam shells from the ground to try and keep their furry heads from getting wet.
All of a sudden, a golden ray of sunlight parted the cloudy skies, and began to reflect off the impromptu “shield” of clam shells formed by the cadets.
All who were there on that day claimed that it was definitely the Rooy Nymph bestowing its blessing upon the great warriors. Coincidentally enough, that very eve, those same witnesses claim they were all served a foaming pint of golden beer.

▲ [Papu] is the only work of Kakuo drawn by his left paw.
One fateful day, Kakuo mistook his right paw for a King Clam, and took a huge bite.
His recovery was rather quick, but many of his fans jokingly referred to the incident as an assassination attempt by the Papus.
Gorging himself with Swellfish skewers caused the hallucinogenic effect that prompted him to bite his own paw, and during his treatment, he claimed he couldn’t help but feel maddened by hunger and rage and salivated each time he glanced at his wounded paw.
He would later win many more Otter admirers after declaring his nightmarish ordeal askin to those “stinkin’ Papus!”

▲ [Blue-eyed Invaders] was drawn around the time when Kakuo visited the workshops of Florin and witnessed Loria’s hand mirror for the very first time.
He was so surprised by the mirror that he fainted twice in a row-
The first time because his entire face hadn’t fit in the small mirror, and the second time was because he locked eyes with the “blue-eyed” invader in the mirror.
For some time, he was so filled with dread at the thought of being under the blue-eyed invader’s control that he stopped all of his works and would spend all day starting into the mirror.
Then, one day, it appeared that he had finally made peace with the invader in the mirror itself,
Announced that they had decided to respect the other’s existence, and he finally resumed his work.

▲ [Seas of Sun and Moon] was drawn when Kakuo was a wee pup as he gazed at the sea from the rooftop of his granny’s home in Nada Island. It serves to prove how gifted he was with his imagination and artistic creativity from a young age.
He claimed the existence of the sunsea and moonsea at the world’s end where no living being could survive, and between those bodies of water lay our very own sea. Therefore, since there existed no body of water untamable by Otters, he proposed that all Otters must press onward to the ends of the world.
However, Kakuo also claimed that the warm and cold currents flowing from those two bodies of water found balance when they met in the seas of our world and made our seas able to sustain Otter life.
Therefore, his declaration that maybe the moon and sun seas may exist as the only exception to the fact that Otters can tame all bodies of water brought much attention to this piece as well.

▲ [Paradise] was drawn while Kakuo was heading up the Behr River to publish the “Salmon Dishes” book. The painting depicts salmon swimming in the gentle currents speckled with stones here and there, perfect for sunbathing after filling one’s tummy with the delectable fish from the river.
Kakuo unveiled this piece by declaring that paradise is not some distant vista. However, due to too many Otters flocking to the Behr River and consuming the entire population of fish in the region, critics arose, decrying Kakuo as a fraud, and thus began a dark chapter in the career of Kakuo.

▲ [Papu Thinker] is a famous piece by parapura who captured the near life-like portrayal of a lone fruit soldier pondering about her own fate before throwing herself into the fray of the Thousand Year War.
Rowdy fruit soldiers are brought before this piece by instructors to focus on this sculpture, whose muscles are tense due to thought of teaching Otters a lesson they’ll never forget.
The actual fruit soldier who was captured in the piece, however, denies such an interpretation, claiming that she was only filled with thoughts of her next meal once the war was over.

▲ [Ostreaebolus] is another piece by Parapura who captured a participant during the Shellfish Throwing sport of the Papuaora Island Games.
Graceful harmony and balance are perfectly expressed in this animated piece, and has received many accolades by countless critics.
However, the very athlete captured in the piece apparently ranked last place in the sport that day, and took out her frustrations upon Otter prisoners held at the Fruit Soldier Academy.

▲ [Papu of Liberty] is a piece that was first set into motion while Parapura was captured and held at the Crioniak Abyssal Pearl Prison during the Thousand Year War.
In both paws she holds the Shell-a-Phone, a special conch shell used by members of Abyssal Pearl Fishism to communicate over long distances.
Parapura was able to steal these shells to orchestrate a mass escape of Papu prisoners along the way. Later the freed Papus encouraged her with generous donations to sculpt her glorious self during the rescue.

▲ [The Birth of Paphrodite] is a sculpture of Paphrodite, who won first place in the Papuaora Island Beauty Pageant, and was wholly funded by the Fruit Soldier Academy.
Known as the Papu of love and beauty by the fruit soldiers, the famed Paphrodite became incredibly wealthy after winning the pageant.
However, this sculpture was actually made after the pageany and when Paphrodite was forced to enlist into the Fruit Soldier Academy as a secret weapon to seduce the Otters, only to be dishonorably discharged later. The reason being that not one Otter fell to Paphrodite’s charm, none.

▲ [The Creation of Papu] is a masterpiece of Parapura praised for best depicting the ideology that Papus are basically gods. This piece gained popularity after it was declared that the sculpture’s slender, extended claw was pointing to the Pa-quoise Sea Urchin of the Papu Creation mythos, where it apparently cried out “Pa!” and “Pu!” as it later evolved into the Papus we know today. All because of the verse that mentioned Papus being made in the very image of the gods.

Season Zero Champions Dictionary Update

We are honored to announce that the official Babble Royale dictionary was updated this evening in recognition of the Season Zero Champions.

As you all know, every season each of the top ten (or so) most successful players gets to permanently add a word of their choosing to the official and, we repeat, permanent, in-game dictionary used by the game. Forever.

It could be anything you want.

It could be your name. It could be your boyfriend or girlfriend's name. That's the one that we, personally, would do. It could be the name of a product that is sponsoring your promising eSports career. It could be, oh, we don't know, a clever pun. In Latin. That sort of thing. The sort of clever thing an erudite word-lover might think up if they were planning to permanently deface the sacred tome that governs the holy ceremony at the center of a small but growing mindsport that some people are calling "the next Pickleball."

Ok, this one we should briefly explain. BBQ is a bot. And that's bad. We mean it's bad, in general, to stick bots into online games. It can ruin games, and that sucks. We know a lot of people will be disappointed with our decision to include BBQ in this list, but here's the thing - BBQ had the decency to not play all the time. They only played some of the time. And that demonstrated a certain amount of consideration, an indication that they knew they could spoil the game and were trying not to.

And they played in a style that, while clearly automated, wasn't using map hacks, exploits, or lightning-fast inputs. It was just good at certain aspects of the game. Too good. Better-than-human. But not in a way that was trivial to describe and prohibit. Like, any simple "speed limit" we applied to catch BBQ would also have, occasionally, caught many of our best human players.

And, with all due respect, BBQ sucks in every aspect of the game that isn't raw anagramming. In positioning? In look-ahead? They're beatable and we've seen humans beat them. We've seen games improved by BBQ's presence. We've seen expert players turn and surgically remove BBQ so that casual players could continue playing. We've seen steel-hearted competitors sacrifice their own MMR, joining hands and throwing themselves on BBQ to protect high-level tournaments from being spoiled. We've seen Will Anderson shift gears to deal with BBQ. And let us tell you - that's a beautiful thing.

It doesn't say, in the Babble Royale Rulebook, that you have to be human to play. It's just a game. The rule is don't be an a--hole, and BBQ followed that rule.

BBQ was a heel, but they were a true heel and we salute them.

Also, it's a good new way to get rid of Q's. ;)

August 5th Update Announcement

Metal Waltz: Anime tank girls - WHAT' S UP GAME LABS

Dear Commanders
We plan to perform a patch update on the server at 11:00(UTC+8) on August 5. The estimated update time is 8 hours.

Update details are as follows:

I. New tanks
1. LT-432, obtainable through the following methods:
- Direct obtaining from [Blueprint Analysis].
- Exchange for [Beacon Necklaces] obtained from [Blueprint Analysis].
- Exchange for vouchers.
2. T114 BAT, obtainable through the following methods:
- Exchange for [Beacon Necklace] obtained from [Blueprint Analysis].
- Exchange for vouchers.
- Low chance to obtain from Iron Blasting.
3. AML-60, obtainable through R&D.
4. ASU-57 (OKB-115), obtainable through [Palm Diner].

II. Palm Diner Event
In order to conduct further study about the Farers, Portia has ordered Commander to gather equipment (S1, S2, S1A, N2-4 Blueprints) and collectibles (Bow Tie, Machine Snake Eye, Bedroom Key) to feed to Epsilon.
Epsilon will evaluate the food and Commander will be rewarded accordingly.
After each feeding, Epsilon’s satisfaction will increase based on the food’s taste (the more she likes the food, the more points gained).
When her satisfaction reaches its maximum, you will receive the first big reward of the event (this time it’s ASU-57 (OKB-115)).
*Please note that if Epsilon is overfed (especially with high-rarity equipment), she might suffer indigestion, preventing you from feeding her further for a while (but you can give her a [Tanghulu] to help with that.)
During the event period, you can randomly get [Tanghulus] from Iron Blasting, and they can also be bought for gold directly from the event store.
If Epsilon is most satisfied with the food, you will also get [Luxury Avatar Coupons], which can be used to exchange for various skins from the museum, and during the Palm Diner event, you can also randomly get [Luxury Avatar Coupons] from Iron Blasting.
Aside from the aforementioned rewards, if Epsilon is mildly or most satisfied, you will get 1 or 3 Architecture Blueprints respectively, which can be used in the Blueprint Analysis event.

III. Blueprint Analysis Event
During the event, a special blasting pool will be available for the Blueprint Analysis event, which will need [Architecture Blueprints] to use. Details of this special blasting pool are as follows:
1. Rewards from the Blueprint Analysis blasting pool will be based on the normal Iron Blasting pool.
2. Blueprint Analysis has a higher chance to drop advanced equipment than Iron Blasting.
3. In addition to the base rewards, there is a chance to obtain an extra reward: Engineering Fairies, Auto-fighter or three types of resource production boost buff items (these rewards are a separate drop and will not replace the base rewards).
4. There is a 40% chance to obtain the [Beacon Necklace] event item which can be exchanged for LT-432 and T114 BAT.
5. There is a chance to directly obtain LT-432.
[Architecture Blueprints] can be obtained through the following methods:
1. By purchasing gold during the event:
20 from buying a Small Bag of Gold;
40 from buying a Big Bag of Gold;
120 from buying a Small Box of Gold;
280 from buying a Big Box of Gold.
3. A certain amount can be obtained from a quest after passing Story Vol.8 [Expedition].
4. By exchanging with [Bedroom Key] in the event store (for a limited number of times).

IV. Perseverance Coin Event in Clash
The event details are as follows:
1. During the event, when you attack in Clash, you will get 5 Perseverance Coins no matter the results.
2. If you search and defeat an opponent whose medal count is higher than 6 000, you will receive 10 more Perseverance Coins (for a total of 15).
If you defeat an opponent whose medal count is over 9 000, you will receive 20 more Perseverance Coins (for a total of 25).
3. Winning in retaliation battles and defensive battles won’t award Perseverance Coins. Only battles that use Diesel count.
4. Perseverance Coins can be used by tapping at them in the Depot, which will open the exchange store which offer the following rewards:
- M18 Hellcat
- T87 Amphibious Skin Box (skin for M18 Hellcat)
- Commander portrait: Charles de Gaulle
- Background image: Seaside Summer
- Various Emblems of Honor (these emblems are tiered, and the previous tier will have to be purchased before the next tier becomes available.)
- Limited resource packages
*Please note that the rewards in the Perseverance Coin store are not limited and are planned to make a return in follow-up events in the future, so please do not worry about missing out on them and enjoy the event.

V. Additional rewards for purchasing Gold
During the event period, purchasing Gold will grant you a certain number of Dogtags.
Purchasing [Big Bag of Gold] grants 20 Dogtags
Purchasing [Small Box of Gold] grants 60 Dogtags
Purchasing [Big Box of Gold] grants 130 Dogtags

Can be exchanged with vouchers in the event store.

VII. Additional rewards from iron forge and aluminum forge
During the event period, using the iron forge will guarantee you [Prion Fossils] which can be exchanged for a random number of Wrecks, Secret Plans, Processors, Test Dolls, or Codon in the Fossil Exchange section of the Exchange shop. Using the aluminum forge will also guarantee you a random amount of Rainbow Oxamide.

IX. Data adjustment
1. Centurion Mk-I: Attire name changed to A41 Centurion (Pilot). Increased firepower and targeting. Granted QFCRCBC and QFLR Mag ammo.
