Hello everyone! Here is some progress on Orc Massage in July.
Ava's Custom-designed Furniture
An exclusive set of furniture of Ava from the furniture system.
Mermaid Water Test
In June, we tested the new fluid effect which can produce the water used in the debut of Mermaid. Orc Massage’s twitter have presented this scenario in the Mermaid Mangaand will reproduce this performance in the game.
Mermaid H-Animation
We finished the general base of Mermaid’s animations in June, we are still working on some small details.
New Game Loop
The core game mechanics of favorability and massage will be heavily reworked. This mechanics update is expected to be available together with the debut of Mermaid.
About 0.6.3
The 0.6.3a version was uploaded in about two days and received some reports of instability issues. Most of the bugs appeared when we changed the design to optimize the game. We are now temporarily returning the game to the previous version. The game will update to 0.6.3 after further testing.
This patch brings a nice Lighting overhaul to the entire game, thanks to a shift to Unreal Engine 5. Alongside this is the addition of Veteran mode for normal, brutal and nightmare, plus much more!
Latest Patch Notes:
I am aware of a minor bug with Loading Screens: When they have finished loading there is no "click to continue" text and they instead hang for a second before loading the next zone.
This is due to an engine bug when swapping from UE4 to UE5 and will be resolved asap, but is out of my hands.
> Fixed a bug with Floating Numbers sometimes displaying in incorrect locations. > Fallen World now has the correct loading screens. > Fixed a bug with Life Per Hit and Mana Per Hit Floating Numbers not saving it's state. > Revamped Magic and Enemy Mob vfx. > Reworked Frozen/Stun logic to prevent enemies turning when Frozen/Stunned. > Decreased base Stun and Freeze duration to 1 second, down from 2 seconds. > Reworked all Lighting in the game. > Added 2 basic Potions. > Added 3 Unique Potions. > Added 6 Act 2+ Nightmare Uniques. > Polished some Campaign Zones. > Added HUD text for Life/Mana/Exp and Keybindings. > Added Veteran Mode for Normal, Brutal and Nightmare. This mode has Increased Enemy Stats, but grants more Bonus Loot (Uniques, Consumables and Materials). > Added a way to Import Character files.
Version 0.127a: Fixed 3 sandbox islands not loading Version 0.127b: Fixed bug with unlocking in campaign Version 0.127b: Fixed particles being offset on vehicle spawn

Hello friends! Due to the fact that many people had to stay at home in isolation due to COVID-19, we decided to add another Let's Play Together competition in the middle of the week, just for fun-with different crazy levels and (alas!) no prizes. We think it is clear by now this extra LPT is a permanent addition too :)
The rules are the same: log in to our Discord server, keep it running, play a competitive level, complete it with 5 stars and have fun! Visit our Discord server (#lets-play-together channel) to learn more.
All of us at Giant Fox Studios are excited about the progress we’ve made on our game Swing Striker this past month!
Our development team has made great strides in crafting the new character abilities and testing new game modes for our players.
QA has been a focus this month and the team has been combing through our game to make sure it is polished and ready for our fans.
You have seen many of our wacky characters, but where do they come from? Many of our Swing Strikers had to overcome great obstacles to get to where they are today. This past month we have spent a lot of time on a very INKredible Swing Striker, Squid Kicks. Her journey will lead you to places you won't expect and provide challenges you can’t resist!
