Universe 1 Content
  • Void Maps now start dropping after your first Portal, down from fifth.
  • All Void Maps below Z200 now have less difficulty than before. Void Maps pre Z60 start with very low difficulty, still gain difficulty and loot at Z60, then now gain another +100% difficulty and +100% loot at Z200. This leaves Void Maps at Z200+ with the same difficulty as before, but with +100% more loot than before.
  • Adjusted drop rates of the first 3 Heirloom drop tiers, grey Staff/Shield Heirlooms no longer drop. Renamed Uncommon (green) Heirlooms to "Common", and grey Spire Cores to "Basic".
  • Added some new Z600+ story messages
  • Added 12 new Z300+ Zone Progress Achievements

UI/QOL
  • Added a mouseover tooltip to empty Heirloom slots, stating to click an Heirloom from the inventory to equip it

  • Disabling Pausing while the game is paused will now unpause the game.
  • Pressing Z while MaZ is open will now save and close MaZ rather than cancel it. Hotkeys are now shown on the save/close and cancel buttons.
  • Clarified in the Multitasking description that each upgrade increases both of the modifiers by 5% per level
  • Added the amount of Bone Shrine Charges you have available to the Bone Shrine tooltip
  • Added a statistic for Runetrinket collection so you can easily see how many you've earned this run

Bug Fixes
  • Core and Frozen Castle Heirloom seeds now properly persist through Portal
  • Fixed a bug where AutoJobs could spend more workers than you have available when first unlocking Miners, which would stop Trimps from breeding until some were fired.
  • Fixed some typos
  • The Tortoise and the Bugs feat now properly states you need 100 Swarm stacks before Z120, not by.
  • Updated the Unbalance Challenge description to state the correct amounts of health gained in maps vs world
  • Scaffolding now works properly in U1. It was already applying in U1 prior to this patch, but wasn't showing up on the breakdown, wasn't properly prefilling housing, and was causing issues with perk respeccing.
  • The Total Portals achievement now properly counts U1 + U2 portals, not just U1
  • Revenge stacks now properly disappear on completing the Challenge
  • Fixed an issue on the Steam version where the cloud save confirmation popup could be misleading if Universe 2 cloud save portals are higher than local save.
  • Capitalized "All" in the "Showing All Achieves" setting, fixed a typo in the Mastery Tab Alert setting tooltip
  • The Equality settings tooltip can now also be closed with E
  • Buying your final Microchip no longer briefly displays a bugged tooltip
  • Quests on the Quest Challenge that revolve around Cell 100 now properly check if the Quest is complete when using Map at Zone with Exit at Cell 100
  • Archaeology's Feat now properly unlocks at the same Zone as Archaeology (has been off since Archaeology moved in 5.5.0)
  • The Daily Challenge modifier on the Portal Screen should now be more accurate when switching Universes if one pet has the Daily Bonus reward and the other pet does not.

Salamander County Public Television has been updated to v1.0.2! This update includes various bug fixes, as well as changes to a few games to make them easier to play.

- Cheese Eater: reduced the opacity of the mouse's legs at high speeds
- Shooting Hoops: adjusted the default values to ones that are more likely to result in made baskets

Hydra Lists: Roll Table Maker - Black_Cardinal
The second update to Hydra Lists has been a bit more difficult than I anticipated. Because of this, this update only includes referencing other books and some bug fixes. Adding variables to lists will be coming out in an update next week.

So whats new?

Referencing other books in lists
A much requested feature, users are now able to reference lists in other books! To do this, use the format:

{MY BOOK@LIST IN BOOK}

and it will grab a result from the specified list in the specified book. Similar to updating list names, updating the name of the book will update references to that book in any and all lists!

Chinese translation
Hydra Lists has now been translated into Chinese as has been requested by several users. A big thanks to steam user 羽川, who did an excellent translation of the beginners guide.

Minor bug fixes
There were a couple of bugs associated with autosave:
  • Creating a new book in odd edge cases
  • Weird saving issues when changing the list type of a list


Next update will have list variables, which users will be able to define and use repeatedly in a list, and autocomplete functions when typing book references.
Game Dev Masters - Doobachoo
Small hot fix to address a few minor issues and problems. Sorry for the rapid fire fixes, but we have some great players in discord just going nuts on the game atm finding every issue they can. You guys are great, but hopefully this is last hot fix for a few days.

- Due to translation issue the hall of fame section menu was empty for release hall of fame

- Restart in paragon menu caused your genre to reset to action. You can now pick a new genre and perk if you make use of this quick reset option.

- The close option for the difficulty review menu inside of hard mode was not working correctly, it now does.

- I accidentally left a dog inside of office 4 when I was testing / fixing the previous navigation mesh issue. As you might expect they did not like each other. The extra dog has now been removed.

Greetings, mighty gladiators!

In today's update, the long awaited enchanting and forging systems have arrived in-game.

Any blueprints or runes you have found on your travels or bought from shops can now be used at the forge and the enchanter.

At the forge, blueprints can be used to strengthen both armour and weapons. You can use up to two blueprints per item. A spatha could become a 'Strong Spatha', and then a 'Strong Spatha of Kings', for example.

At the enchanters, you can etch runes upon your weapons to enhance them with things like fire damage, poison damage and so on.

A word of caution - if you find any of your existing runes / blueprints playing up ( crashing the game ), sell them at the shop and buy new ones. This *probably* won't happen for you but I did encounter it early on in testing, I think I put a workaround for it but let me know if it doesn't play nice.

There are also the usual bugfixes and balances, I hope you like this patch. Next week I'll be bringing some new champions into the game!

2 new news events: Car Bomb and Army Corruption
Car Bomb
In recent days, a spree of car bombs have detonated across cities controlled by the Scarian Army, apparently targeting railway stations, police stations, markets, and government buildings. Many civilians and soldiers have been killed. While the government's spokespeople claim that the Revolutionaries are to blame, the Revolutionaries counter that the attacks are false flags planned by Akadullah to strike fear in Scarian hearts.

Army Corruption (Day 45 or later)
Recent reports state that "Akadullah is furious" over rampant corruption in the highest levels of his Army. Some of his soldiers have been actively avoiding combat and retreating from confrontations with Revolutionaries. There are even whispers of a "whitelist" - a list of anti-government combatants who are to receive special treatment from the Army, such as being spared from heavy firepower and elite squadrons.

2 new camp events: Scrapped Vehicle and Comrade's Request

XX was fortunate enough to stumble upon a scrapped vehicle from an unknown local fighting force. We may be able to salvage some valuable parts from its shell.

Comrade's Request
XX wishes to temporarily leave the team to handle some personal affairs with an "old acquaintance" in the area. While they are reluctant to discuss their true intentions, whether they are sending a gift or a barrage of bullets is none of your concern.

UPDATED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Warbox System Requirements have been updated. A lot of players that have been reporting performance issues may possibly be below these standards. Before this change, the minimum specs were as high as a GTX 1050 GPU. Make sure you verify that your PC is above minimum specs before buying the game. The minimum requirements were increased due to the new use of technology in Unreal Engine 5, Lumen Global Illumination, Nanite, and Metahumans.
