Hello everyone. It's been about 3 and a half months since Past Synergy was released and about 1 and a half month since the last update.

Since the last update, I have been studying much multiplayer programming and so on, but unfortunately I do not yet have enough knowledge to fully add an online mode mode for past synergy. I have learned enough to make a slow paced multiplayer game, but not enough to fast paced multiplayer game. Therefore, I will continue to learn multiplayer programming, but I do not expect it to be completed anytime soon.

GAIDEN EVENT-LIMITED ITEMS

Summon your inner hero with 40 adventurous event-limited cosmetics, including new Legendary skins for Revenant, Mirage, Octane and Wattson with complementary skins for the Flatline, Wingman, EVA-8 and Charge Rifle.

If you collect all 40 event items, you’ll unlock the newest Prestige skin, Bangalore’s “Apex Commander”! Prestige Skins are Mythic cosmetic Legend skins that each have 3 tiers (3 versions total of the Prestige Skin). Upon unlocking tier 1 of a Prestige Skin, a player will be able to complete challenges to unlock Tier 2 and Tier 3 at no additional cost. Players can continue to complete these challenges, once available, even after the end of the event. Once a Prestige Skin Tier’s challenge is completed a player will unlock that respective tier’s version of the Legend skin which can then be equipped. Players have the ability to equip any unlocked tier of a Prestige Skin once owned.

I have been wrestling with these bunnies for 2 days, but I think their hauling behavior is solid now.

Thanks very much to all of you helping out in the testing branch!

This version has quite a few upgrades to task persistence that will extend beyond the bunny hauling in Winter, but that case was by far the worst. You should see tasks getting completed a lot more often now. Persistence won't be perfect yet, but it will be a lot better.

Update #2 - v0.229-0.231
I post regular development logs in the forums and the discord server. As mentioned before, there’s a ‘default’ branch of the game that is more stable and all players get by default, plus a ‘testing’ branch that will be updated more often to test bug fixes and changes but you need to opt in (Library → right click Clanfolk → Properties → Betas → Choose version).

V0.229
  • Chained tasks can not be interrupted by personal needs tasks anymore (hauling items home tasks)
  • I Disabled Feed Object task override for closer units. Was causing too much task indecision. More task permanence now.
  • Added Chained task entity types to force the hunter to choose the butcher block if available after shooting the bunny.
  • Added Bunny Dump Task. It is a fallback for when the butcher block is occupied and the corpse stockpile is full. Hunters will drop dead bunnies near the butcher block for later. Much better to have 2 butcher blocks or a corpse stockpile though. This is a last resort to bring those bunnies home.
  • Clanfolk will try to warm up a little more at the fire so they can stay outside longer.
  • Clannfolk also lose heat 33% more slowly.

  • Fixed issue with lighting bleeding through the back of walls in low shadows mode
  • Fixed another issue with Bunny Hauling and all Task Priority decisions caused by left over data not being cleared.
  • Fixed case where hauls would abort when the item was picked up if there was a personal attribute emergency (too cold)

  • Fixed carried tools being dropped because other units want them at bad times
  • Fixed Task Persistence with hunting such that if carrying weapon, or close to target, or close to weapon the task will persist
  • Fixed Task Persistence with chained tasks when the time of day moves to time off, to prevent aborting the chain and bring those bunnies home.

Greetings Warlocks! Welcome to a massive CHUNKY huge update patch for Elewder aka version 0.1.6. This update boasts the most amount of content we have ever released in a patch for this game, a whole new region design, 5 new minions, character upgrade mechanics, new NPCs, and so much more!

Y’all ready to bust? Lessgo!

The Bordello is the area we overhauled this patch, which is the final of the five total locations needing unique content, theming, and music. It is after all the big bad bosses area and will always be the last location players will visit during their runs.





The theme itself is a sexy Bordello, laden with pillows, velvet curtains, pink neon, and cold stones. The Bordello is home to five unique minions aiming to take you down!



From left to right we have:

  • Executioner: This minion is known for taking heads, since you’ll likely outspeed her she throws her ax to make up the distance. Don’t get caught off guard!
  • Judge: Ready to sentence you for acts of debauchery, her attack summons three gavels that slam into the ground and explode.
  • Jury: A masked minion seeking out the perfect way to dispose of you. She summons three powerful crystals she will throw at you. Dodge well.
  • Warden: A minion perfect for capturing escapees. She will throw her manacles at you, stunning you for a few seconds and allowing her allies to attack you.
  • Fallen Nun: No one is safe from the temptation of lust, heaven included. This fallen Nun is proof of that, using her tainted aura to heal her allies and hurt her enemies.
The second part of our update is the Soul Smith NPC we have added to the game. Some of our players might have seen her floating around in the game as a unique combat room previously, but now her final form has been activated! The Soul Smith is a player upgrade station found within the player starting room which allows access to permanent upgrades that will function across all unlocked characters.

Simply burn essence at the Soul Smithery to improve every aspect of your character. Her functionality will be upgraded in later patches, including adding additional tiers to the unlock paths and Character Specific upgrade nodes.




While not available right now, in the future you will need to unlock additional tiers by beating the Soul Smith in the labyrinth after she approves of your progress. Oh and some of these are really powerful upgrades, enjoy experimenting!

Other notable fixes include:
  • Finisher Minigame Upgrades: Added UX to give the player feedback on what happens when they skip, when they play, and as they unlock new treasures. Also now instead of dropping items on the floor finishers will drop treasure chests making them far more rewarding. Minions will drop up to three chests at once depending on their aura level.
  • New Intimacy Camera Control: Now players can swivel the camera around, allowing players to see more than they could before.
  • Added Damage Numbers: To avoid player confusion on item benefits player attacks will now display damage numbers including crits!

New map - Penury Desert


The brand new map is all about the desert theme! Of course, with it will come new creatures from this theme, artifacts, and features, but that's for another devlog in the coming days.




For the first time, we are introducing map hazards. And for the desert, we have cactus that explode.
So be cautious to not roll near them, it can be dangerous! But you can also make smart plays using them to your advantage.

The Penury Desert has its own Dungeon! Inside this new brand feature, you’ll find a new challenge and unique reward.

To have access to this dungeon you will need to find its entrance and use a key.



At the end of each Penury Desert's Dungeon, you'll find a gem, used to enhance your artifacts.
