Time-limited Event
Key Instance Event During the event, assist in the Key Instance, you can collect additional drop items - Letter of Thanks to exchange various resources in the event store. Note: 1. The event will be open after this update and will last for 14 days. 2. All Letter of Thanks will be cleared after the event ends. Don't miss the exchange time!
Inferno Tower Event During the event, 100 floors will be opened every 2 days, players can get a lot of Heroic Summon Scroll or Common Summon Scroll from it. The event will be open on July 12 (server time) and will last for 7 days.
Major Optimization
1. Fixed the issue that low HP would be displayed after the hero entered the battle with the talent card "Demonic-Devil King" equipped. 2. Fixed an issue where the Suit Conversion would get stuck under certain circumstances and the player would need to restart the game. 3. Fixed the issue that monsters may restore hp when using 2 life stone option in the Wall.
Well, we are halfway through the year and even closer to the early access launch of Untamed Isles. There’s a little bit of something for everyone in this dev update; battlers, collectors and NPC-fanatics can all find a thing or two to enjoy. On that note, let’s press on with it.

Rare tames
If you’re a shiny hunter or a collector, you’re going to want to pay attention to Gemborns and Alphas. This month we coloured some of our gemborn tames. Thoona sculpted out of rose quartz? What about a ruby-style Thoona? If you’re lucky to encounter a wild gemborn tame, make sure you capture it as these tames are incredibly rare!
The fierce Alpha Burrl is also taking shape. This alpha is a bold mix of floofy and toothy. Look at that overbite!
Combat Improvements
Tamers who love to battle will be pleased to hear that our combat system has gone through some serious refinements. The combat system is now easier to understand in battle with readability UI improvements.
We have also introduced a counterplay / adaptability combat mechanic to improve engagement.
Wild Tame Encounters
Be careful strolling through the long grass, you never know who you might encounter. Devs have been working on programming the wild tame encounters in the long grass.
Tame Combinations
Imagine a monster taming game launching with just ten tames. Now imagine with those 10 tames, there are 1,500,000 different visual combinations to capture and battle. Watch our new video explaining how limb swapping works in Untamed Isles.
NPC’s now chase, wander, and… fall in love?
NPCs are now popping up all over the isles. Thanks to our clever devs, they now chase the player (you!) into battle and stroll through the isles looking for adventure.
The art team have crafted all tier 1 faction NPC models in 3D. We’ve been releasing some of the original concept art for NPCs, which it is fair to say our Untamed community have been loving. In p -yet-to-be-released-researcher NPC and Tucker have been shipped.

What says “ooh ahh”, has a curly tail, and hordes a polished crystal? Our cheekiest tame has now been designed with the help of the community. Throughout June our community worked together to select the monkey’s head, body, and colouring. The end result is very cute.
The Untamed community is a creative bunch and this has really shined through during June. The community photoshopped their favourite tames into real world scenarios to help imagine a world full of tames. The community also put their creativity to the test building an Untamed Isles Minecraft server.

This update marks the start of an overhaul for the sound design of Fret Smasher. Not only are we updating all existing sounds, but we're adding in some new ones too including gameplay notifications, highway in & out, ready up, and so much more!
In addition to new sounds being added, Themes can also utilize the new sound clips. For information about theme making and sounds, open the theme template folder in the game's directory.
Make sure you join our Discord server if you have any feedback on the new sounds or would like to suggest anything regarding the sound design.

Playtest #13 is now live! This will be our first week long playtest. We plan to run these around the beginning of each month, with P2P available to all for the duration. Official dedicated servers will be live on (Fri/Sat/Sun) from 6pm-12am local time for NA, EU, OCE and LATAM. To make things easier, the local times for these servers can be viewed from within the main menu now.
Dedicated server events, community discussions, polls and regional LFG channels can be found via the Community Discord.

Karryn's Prison has been updated to v.1.0.6a, and with it tentatively brings Steam Workshop access. However, because Karryn's Prison is using the RPGMaker MV engine, with one exception only, workshop mods will NOT automatically activate even after you subscribe to them. Anyone looking to upload to the Workshop will need to provide instructions in their mods for the end users on how to use their mod.
I know our Chinese fans have been waiting for an official localization. It's still being worked on, and it's not finished yet. ːtonkinBulliedː And I know there are some people upset that the Chinese localization is not finished yet, personally I don't think it's justified since our Chinese team have been working hard on it, but I also know that there has been an unofficial fan translation available. So I've contacted the mod author and they've agreed to upload their mod to the Workshop. Since then I've personally spent time implementing part of the mod into the game so that anyone can safely and easily get the Chinese translation mod working for the game with just one click on Steam.
Once again, note that this is an unofficial fan translation, and we are still working on an official version with our Chinese team, but in meantime, I hope that I've made it easier for all our loyal Chinese fans on Steam to be able to enjoy Karryn's Prison in Chinese! ːkarrynComfyː
Once you've subscribed to the Chinese mod and it's downloaded on Steam, you can change the language in the ingame settings to Chinese!
