Storages are one of the main gameplay elements, so its important to make them act understandable are easy configurable.
Old Storages
Since the last iteration, the there existed input and output storages, that are related to the activity. Activities needed an input storage for consuming and output storages for producing resource boxes. Beside that there are general storages that can have in and out behaviors, special storages e.g. for the dock or the shuttle bay and many more.
The old design had several hardcoded behaviors, depending on the type of the storage and how they are used. It was build at the start of the development and being improved a lot of times, but the major design survived till these days.
New Storages
Now all of that has been replaced by just one kind of storages with several options. These options replacing the old special behaviors and make them way easier to understand and as a good side effect, the player can change them to their needs. It depends a bit on the kind of storage what options are changeable by the player or not, due to for some special storages, it doesn't make sense to change them.
To make it easy, the activity storages get automatically options, depending on what interior items are placed in the blueprints. So if activities just using it as an input storage, the storage will be preconfigured as only input behavior, but it can be changed later afterwards.
The Options
Input Storage Option
Not Allowed No Input connections are allowed. Request Only Full Boxes This is the default behavior for the Activity storages. They just request boxes when they are full, so not so many transport actions are triggered. Request Partial If Empty In some cases the other box is filling very slow, but its essential to get that as fast as possible, to get the activity to be able to work. This will be only triggered when the storage has no more boxes, so its not filling all up. Request Partial This is a special option that is default for construction storages to be able to grab all resources they need at the building lot.
Output Storage Option
Not Allowed No output connections are allowed. Auto Send Only Full Boxes This is the default behavior for Activity storages. They just send boxes when they are full. Auto Send Unused In some cases it can be useful to send a box out, when its not used by the room anymore, e.g. when an activity stopped. Force Empty This is a special option and is used e.g. for the Dock or dismantle building lots.
Problem Option
There are 2 different problems that can be configured. Full storage and empty storage. After several playtests i figured out, that players use the storage in different ways, so sometimes, the "full" is good, sometimes its bad. For each Storage, the player can now configure them depending on the usage:

or nothing should be shown

To round the storage changes up, i also improved the Connect Storage Overlay. I used the new approach what i developed for the Person Activity and added also existing ones and show problems e.g. for maximum connections.

And finally, July came into our lives! It still surprises us how fast time goes by when working on a project we love, but despite that, weâre happy to see the team has reached the goal set up in our previous roadmap. Some of the features are still being tested in the Alpha branch of the game, but rest assured they will arrive in the main game for all players very soon â weâll make a short reminder at the end of the entry. Redesign of the battle system
After starting a deep technical research thanks to your feedback, we decided to modify the whole battle system in July. The new system will feature the following changes:
Currently, if you want to attack an enemy you first have to draw the sword to enter the battle mode. Weâre cancelling this design, more info on the new one will be coming soon.
The limitation of movement and stagger of the Basic attack and the Basic spell will be removed.
You will point with your mouse where the basic attacks should be directed.
The Basic Attack will receive several adjustments.
Casting spells and switching between them will be way easier now.
Weâll allow players to jump and interact with other objects in the middle of a battle.
The visual and sound effects you see and hear when attacking a monster or being attacked by one have been adjusted.
What's that delicious smell coming from the Guiyun Sect headquarters?
After Mu Xia joins your clan, you will unlock the new kitchen of the Guiyun Sect and lots of new cookware and amazing recipes to delight your brothers and sisters. Also, there will be special cooking quests in every solar term that will help you increase your friendship level with your fellow sect members â but most importantly, the cooking materials will be free!
New map area!
Why did the cultivators cross the river? Easy: to unveil the secrets waiting for them in the other side! Youâll be finally able to rebuild the Ferry stop after the disaster in the mountain. This will allow you to build a new fishing spot and the Opera stage, plus lots of new locations, objects and stories that will entertain you for hours:

About the Foundation Stage
Weâve kept you waiting so long for the next stage of the Cultivator level âFoundation Establishmentâ, but fortunately the day has come to share some insights into how we would treat this new Cultivator level.
Removing the limit that blocks the increase of your status max would be the easiest thing to do, but that would make no difference between the current level with the next one. To make it feel somehow special, players would need make some preparations for completing the main quest that unlocks the Foundation Establishment. After that, you'd enjoy some new premium features. We'll provide you with solid reporting the next time we talk to you about this issue, as at the moment we only have these ideas of what it could look like and we are still refining them. Please stay tuned!
About Brother Xie
We know youâre all expecting to know what happens to Brother Xie after the latest events of Immortal Lifeâs main mission. Since weâve been concentrating our energies in improving the combat system and designing the new Cultivator level, the new chapter of his story wonât arrive this month. Weâll start working on it once we're sure you feel happy with the new look of the first feature, because thatâs a promise we made to you at the very start of this Early Access phase.

2. Bee raising You can now start raising bees and flowers for making honey! More dishes and features based on honey will be added to our game in the future.
3. Silkworm raising Take care of silkworms to get Silk from them and make some new clothes!
4. Pet system In this first version of the Pet System youâll be able to adopt a little fox. If you take care of this little guy and let it evolve, the foxy will unlock new abilities to help you out! Of course, there are more Pets coming to Immortal Life in our next updates... but weâll keep the list secret a little longer ^^
5. Bugs fixed We also fixed some bugs you recently reported on Steam, Discord and social media, and added new icons. Also, you can now adjust the volume of music and the sound effects of Yuhua Mystery Realm.
6. Major update on English localization Thanks to your help, we can bring a better version of the English localization to you patch after patch. We believe these changes are making our game much easier to understand, so please donât stop helping us in this regard! We really appreciate your contributions.
So, in conclusion, only the optimization of the map UI optimization couldnât be finished in time. For transparency, we have to say we havenât found the right person to help with the UI design yet, but we would start working on that once we find the right one. (And we wonât only change the UI of Map) Besides, Yuhua Mystery Realm wasnât included in our original plan for May and June, but we figured it out and add it to our game. Even though we do have some bugs in this map currently, we do find our community love how Mystery Realm could bring to our game, thank you all! We would make more Mystery Realm maps in the future.

Both light and dark forces rejoice at the onset of the weekend, and even such controversial guys as the Necromancers Guild do not stand aside, giving Guy's world their magical energy.
Right now, and until maintenance on July 4, you'll get the server buff "Necromancer's Power" â +5% to all basic stats, except for luck.
The effect will be applied to you regardless of what time you enter the game, and will cease to operate during maintenance.
