We forged a new update that fixes a slew of bugs. We will continue collecting your feedback and bug reports. Thank you for being so active and sharing your experience!

IMPORTANT: While saves from previous versions must be compatible, most of the save bugs will persist on old saves.

List of fixed bugs:
  • Bandit customers getting stuck.
  • Customers that ask the player to fulfill orders for a loan or in exchange for food get stuck after the game loads.
  • Special customers arrive again after the game loads.
  • A second beggar arrives after the game loads.
  • A builder getting stuck on the stairs.
  • Spoiled food turning fresh after being picked up and put back on the table.
  • The Baron's assistant leaving with Antonio.
  • Ore could be placed into any piece of furniture.
  • Infinite order fulfillment and gold after reloading.
  • Players unable to sell food cabinets and bookcases (if they are empty).
  • Game UI disappears when special customers arrive again.
  • A “phantom” order is created after the game loads.
  • Anotonio’s order wouldn’t save after reloading
  • Scheduled events wouldn’t save after reloading
  • Double cooking meals
  • Endless day bug
  • Unique customers forgetting their orders after reloading
  • You could send workers underground (through textures)
  • A “phantom” worker in bed after reloading
  • Invisible buttons in some pages of the journal

Hello Managers!

It's summer, it's hot, it's the holidays! What better time to open your cruise ship business?

We are happy to let you know that the Cruise Ship Manager playtest demo is on the horizon! It’s time to launch your business and make some money while making your passengers happy at the same time!

It’s the first time you will be able to see the game in action on Steam! Sign up NOW and join the Playtests starting on JULY 20!

While the demo may still lack some polishing (hey, that’s what playtests are for!) we think it really gives a glimpse of things to come! Content-wise you have one small ship at your disposal in this demo and your task is to make sure your cruise ship steers safely to the port of destination. Later in the game, you will gain access to bigger ships and longer routes of course!

Make sure you:

  • Hire a top-notch crew
  • Arrange rooms and other utilities on the ship
  • React to any inconveniences that may happen during the cruise
  • Carry your (sometimes whimsical) passengers safely to the destination port
This demo by no means contains all the functionalities and mechanics planned for the final version of the game. It is only meant to give you a taste of what awaits you next year.

Keep in mind that playtests may feature bugs, visual glitches, missing localization, or features that still aren’t quite finished. This playtest aims to check how you guys find the Cruise Ship Manager gameplay loop and, last but not least, gather your feedback regarding the overall FUN! By playing the demo and giving us your honest opinion, YOU will help make this game into the best version of itself.

Every year when the Salamanders appear, merchants of the Salamander Festival Committee gather to host a festival for all of Lumios to enjoy.

Come and participate to earn exciting new items! Buffs are also up for grabs in our event totem.

Event 1. Salamander Hunt

During the event special monsters will appear in the field of Lumios namely the Salamanders and Flame Saurins.

These coins you obtain can be exchanged for a variety of items in our Event Merchant located in our major cities.

The event monsters may have a chance to drop map fragments when defeated. Combine 8 pieces of these fragments in our event cartographer in exchange for Treasure Maps!

* Spark Lizardmen Watcher, Guard and Salamander drops 1 - 3 coins per enemy.
Spark Lizardmen Guardian drops 1 - 63 coins per enemy.


Event 2 . Fishing Competition

For players who are more interested in the easier side of life, they can take part in the fishing competition!

Catch the Large-eye Dentex and Jewelfish to salvage them for more event coins!

※Notes
- Summer event fish can only be caught at the Tremont Fishing Hole in Sperios.

Salamander Totem

Use 10 Salamander Coins at the totem to obtain a random buff. Share this buff with your party members and spread the joy of buss all around! ( 8 Meter Radius )

Using the totem offers the chance to randomly obtain one of a variety of possible buffs, such as the popular Attack Power increase, Critical Hit Rate increase, and PvE XP increase.

If you would like to change the buff obtained, simply visit the Salamander Totem and interact with it again after a 3 minute cooldown.

Buff list

  1. Attack power increase 3%
  2. Crit rate increase1.5%
  3. Crit damage increase 3%
  4. EXP gains increase 3%
  5. Max HP increase 3%
  6. Defense power increase 3%
  7. Max strength increase 3%
  8. Golds gains increase 3%

※ There is a cooldown of 22 hours after each time you interact with the Shabiki Ice Sculpture.

Interact with this ice sculpture everyday for a chance to get the Salamander Solstice Chest II that contains the Seaside Passionate Set hat and costume!

Burning Ore

Don’t pass by the next time you see the fiery Burning Ore!

Mining the Burning Ore would cause an event monster to appear. Defeat the monster protecting the ore to obtain Salamander Coins and even Salamander Nest Map Fragments!

GAMEPLAY
With all crucial systems implemented we can move our focus to general polish and quality of life features.

Monster Missile
Monsters now use visual projectiles when attacking heroes. Sounds obvious, but until now we didn’t need visual attack indicators. With arrows and magic bolts flying, the game is much more readable and, obviously, looks much better!

Card parameters
We improved the card rendering and logic so those card descriptions could include values dynamically sourced from the game’s data. This means that cards’ stats can be changed quickly in the data files and the card descriptions will change automatically. It also means that some values in the card descriptions can now be calculated by the game (for instance the final damage value when it depends on the number of monsters present or other not fixed conditions).

Card and keywords tooltips
Now when the card description contains certain keywords or names of other cards there will be an automatic tooltip displayed for that card. This is especially convenient when one card refers to another card – you can quickly check its description and icon, and see if it fits your build.

CARDS
We continue implementing new cards – right on the schedule. Below you can see a few examples. Some might look more familiar than others, especially for those of you who played the prototype:



ARTIFACTS
The same goes for the artifacts. Among those added this month are:



Bloody grail – A random player gets a Healing Blood card at the beginning of the battle.



Flawed ruby – Start each battle with zero mana on the first turn and one extra mana point on later turns.

MONSTER FEATURES
In order to level the playing field, the monsters have to evolve as well. This month some of them gained the following traits:

Explosive – When killed in the near range deals damage equal to its strength to all characters.

Vampiric – Gains strength equal to unblocked damage dealt.

As you can see some monsters will have to be approached more carefully than others and no single build will be universal.

Design
GAME’S INTRO
Work on the game’s intro continues. Our plan for the intro sequence is to feature illustrations done for a few selected cards. That way we can have nice transitions between them and tie icons to real-life (well, game-life) events!

This month we focused on the Heavy Sword card and you can see the results here:





THE CAVE
Last, but not least, we finally implemented the Cave location. We had the art ready for some time, but there always was something more important taking priority. You probably can imagine who dwells in this cozy, tribal area.
