Please note that if you got the game while it's free... first off, thank you so much for your support in the game's first year! We couldn't have made it this far without you! ːpweaseː But we've been advised by Steam support that there may not be any trading card drops if you got the game for free, due to the change in their backend from how this works for free games vs paid games. Hello everyone, it's already summer and we wanted to let you know that we are working tirelessly to finish the game.
We have decided that the next big patch for the game will be version 1.0 directly with the release of the game. We will skip v0.9, so we can focus on what is important.
The big question is, when? We hope that this will be at the end of this summer, we are working hard to finish what we want to include in the release.
We already have the final four heroes implemented in the game and working.
We have most of the new map done, details are still missing like finishing the enemies and finishing graphic things like the backgrounds, for example. Here you can see some of the first enemies of the new biome.
We have also been working on getting the game ready for English proofreading and translation ready.
Now apart from finishing what is missing, we are working on a new perk system. Without going into much depth, the idea is that you have a little more customization options when choosing the perks for each hero and that you can't take everything, like now, so you'll have to choose.
Other than that, we're fixing the few remaining bugs and adding as many QoLs as we can.
Obviously, the release of the game is not the end point. We have a lot of ideas and we want to keep working on it for a long time.

I’ve been mostly working on small enhancements here and there like planning the night and day cycle, testing the night staff mechanics, doing art tests for the background, trying out different turntable style, adding a new counter, tweaking some simulation, changing the employee salary, adding a new splash screen setup. ( To be enhanced later.)
I’ve also been working on some new core elements which will be featured in a later build. ( I have a good list of things I want to add to the game once the game loop feels more solid. )
The most noticeable addition today might be the subgenre selection menu which now displays the stock amount.
Still, here is a list of things you will find in this build.
- Tweaks in the simulation. - Fixes in the loading and saving system. - Night Staff adjustments. - Night and Day cycle ( the sun goes down, etc...still work in progress). - Splash Screen setup. ( work in progress ) - Subgenre stock display. - Upgradable counter. - ...and a few tweaks and adjustments here and there. ( Like all the vintage record seller subgenres have been changed to be more suited to the characters...)
I’ve also been doing a lot of writing for the game, so we can get to know the characters ever more and have more stories…so...plenty still to come on that front also.
Cassiodora features score points and a ranking system from F to S determined at the end of each level. There are different ways to get the most point: - Defeat enemies - Don't lose life points - Make the biggest combo hit - Finish a level quickly

We released a new patch that offers general game improvements and addresses certain minor bugs. If you encounter any issues while playing the game, please contact us on Steam or via our Discord server.
1. Improved FPS optimization during rain. The game should run smoothly in any weather now.
2. Tuned dorado’s speed and health points according to the difficulty modes and increased the number of pieces of meat in them.
3. Significantly improved gamepad controls:
Added interface hints and highlight to the selected ammo slot
Added the option to switch filters on the map
Added hotkeys for scrolling pages
Added the ability to switch between subcategories in the Journal tab
Added acceleration to camera rotation (if you hold to the side for a long time, the camera starts to rotate faster)
Added the ability to skip cutscenes
Fixed some bugs with the inability to adjust certain settings
and other improvements. We are working on full gamepad support and will release it soon.
4. Reduced the weight of some branches.
5. Many other fixes and upgrades to improve the overall gaming experience.

Offline Play
In version 1.0, we blocked players who were not connected to an internet connection from playing. This was due to certain technical issues that appeared when people were playing offline. However, as we have gotten feedback from the 1.0 release, we have decided to allow players to play offline if they really want to. Now, if you are offline, a warning message will appear, letting you know that some features might not work as expected, and bugs may occur, but it gives you the option to keep playing, instead of blocking you completely.
BUG FIXES
Only host got achievement for killing Rhino Shark
Grabber Cache achievement was not possible to unlock
Rhino Shark was missing for some players
Could not enter weather station on Temperance
Animals were getting grabbed by waves
Small, Medium and Big Spender achievements were broken
Some player were not able to harvest items or interact with objects (hopefully fixed)
Polar bear heads were not possible to place on trophy board
Tangaroa Historian achievement was not possible to unlock
First hyena room on Utopia had no boxes for some players
There was no frequency post it note for Varuna Point
