Last week there were over 1,000 games participating in the Steam Next Fest! That’s more than any previous Next Fest, which made it near impossible to fit in time to play all the demos we wanted to play.
We want to ensure that anyone who wants to play the Fabular demo, but hasn’t had time this week, is still able to try it out. So we’re going to keep our demo up for another week after Steam Next Fest finishes later today.
You’ve all been providing incredible feedback on how you’ve found the demo, as well as notifying us if you encounter any bugs, and we’re so grateful. All the feedback you’re giving now is being taken into account to help us improve the game as much as we can before our Early Access release later this year! We’re also making notes of things we won’t have time to implement before Early Access, but that we hope to do during Early Access.
Some of the things we’re currently working on because of your feedback are:
New weapons
More items
Range of playable ships
Wider variety of enemies
Endless mode
Accessibility options
If you have played the demo and haven’t already filled out our demo feedback survey, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the game and any suggestions you may have.
You can also chat directly with our team and our community members for tips and troubleshooting in the Fabular Discord:
Thank you again for all of your support and we hope that you enjoy the demo!
Hello again. Participation in Steam Next Festival was a big thing for us. The game reached 1,500 people, and over 500 of them added it to their wishlist. Thank you for your support. We got a huge boost of motivation.
According to previous announcements, the demo is still available on Steam and will be active until the end of the month. We'd love to read your gameplay impressions or watch a gameplay video. Good luck.
Although most players experience multiplayer without any problems, some bugs still remain. This update should fix the most common problems.
We fixed: • Server problems when joining multiplayer, searching and leaving a match; • Occasional game crashes; • Issues with adding friends in lobby using the social UI; • Incorrect display of interface elements in the pause menu; • Infinite “Entering game” screen issue when loading into a match (we need your feedback on this one).
We changed: • In King of the Hill, the maximum speed of the player who carries the crown will decrease over time; • In Horde, if all zombie players leave the match, some of the remaining survivors will become zombies.
We added: • Mute function. Now you can mute a specific person, keeping the voice chat on; • New skin for the player's avatar.
Please let us know about your experience after the update here or in our Discord server.

We here at Lancer Entertainment are happy to announce that Steam Achievements are now live in Six Aspects! Currently players can receive an achievement for each stage that they complete. There are some stages that are a little more difficult to get to than others so keep that in mind!
We are also leaning forward in the coming summer months to finish as many levels as we can and create a more robust dialogue system so that players can make some meaningful choices throughout their experience. It's our goal to keep engaging players while respecting their time. The game has always built on the idea that games should be fun experiences that aren't just meaningless grind and time sinks.
We hope that you believe what we do as the project keeps getting better!
You'll soon be able to play Lemon Cake on your favorite consoles!

Whispers in the West - Co-op Murder Mystery - Whispers In The West
We would like to thank everyone who has tried the demo for Whispers In The West for their support.
We have published a patch for the demo to address some issues we discovered during the Steam Next Fest. You can find the patch notes below.
UI Fixed player icons covering the main street name on the map. Links for the discord, website and twitter on the main menu are now clickable.
Cinematic Adjusted scaling on certain aspects of the outro cinematic for the ghost script.
Networking Added an error popup when you are disconnected from the Photon Network. When you are disconnected from the Photon Network, you will be automatically returned to the main menu where the game will try to reconnect automatically.
Fixes Portrait no longer disappears in the ghost script. Various UI positioning fixes. As a result of fixing disconnections from the photon network, players should no longer run into an issue where their character vanishes and becomes zoomed in.
