We have exciting news today -- A Terra Invicta Demo, allowing you to play through the first 7 years of the campaign, is now available for download on the Steam page.
The Demo does have some limitations: you can only play as the Resistance, you won't be able to save/load, and some alien lore and stuff is removed to prevent spoilers as to the nature of the alien threat.
It's something of a soft launch; we're putting the demo out early in part to hear if anyone hits any major issues during play, so we can go in and fix them early in the demo period. We've tested and tested, but sometimes things slip through. Feel free to let us know how things are going!
In terms of release, we are delaying for a bit longer, but the game is still coming this year, and we think the demo will showcase how well the game has come together. But polish and balance are critical for a strategy game especially, so the dev team will be hard at work making sure Terra Invicta lives up to your expectations.
Good news! ("...it's a suppository!") Inspired by this awesome speedrun of Severe Mode, I've finally (I think!) tracked down and fixed the Cursed Cauldron bug that has long bedeviled players with 144 hz monitors. I also fixed the less annoying but still misleading bug where 100%ing a level over the course of more than one visit would keep the map dot from properly turning green. I apologize to anyone who's been annoyed by those little snafus, especially if your speedrun of Severe Mode was killed by the former. Ouch. 박수용, thank you for the inspiration.
In less good news, these fixes are only currently applied to the PC version, as I've moved three times in the past two years and can no longer find my Mac. Like I said, Witcheye Incorporated is a bit of a shoestring operation.
Assuming you're on a PC, you can check if you have the fixed version by hitting the "V" key several times on the title screen. If you're on the right build, you'll see "2022-06-08" pop up in the corner.

This is the final major update for Frog Fall Down. Any future updates will be for bug fixes and possible platform releases aside from Windows.
This update completely changes the level/area mapping, adds new sub textures to each area, increased area height from 1800px high to 2400px high, and adds new puzzle and platform elements to each area. This will help to add a bit more length to the game, and diversify the areas.
The store page has been updated with new screenshots and trailers to reflect this.
Below are some screenshots of new and updated features, but mostly I encourage you to play through the game again for yourself as this surely will be a new experience compared to version 1.0.
New starting point in The Sump. Stalagmites have a new texture and hitbox. Water drops now reset frogs charge if he hasn't yet jumped.
New sub texture for The Sump. Cobblestones (no new effect, visual only).
New sub texture for ice blocks in The Glacier. Ice now creates particles underneath frog whilst he's sliding.
New enviro hazard for The Glacier. Icicles hurt frog and break on contact.
New sub texture for clay in The Mesa. Clay now has a bubbling and popping effect.
New platformer/puzzle elements in The Mesa. Moving platforms.
New sub texture for The Dustbowl. Bones (no new effect, visual only)
New platformer/puzzle elements for The Dustbowl. Springboxes.
New platformer/puzzle elements in The Meadow. Switching platforms.

The titlescreen now has some funky effects.
That's all I the important stuff. Again I recommend another playthrough as all the areas have been majorly upgraded especially when comparing it to earlier versions.
